Fabulous all season vacation spot with easy access to Truckee / Reno Airports, Amtrak and Route 80 from San Francisco or Reno.

Totally remodeled 2 Bedroom 2.5 Bath Condo right next to Northstar Village. One of the most extensive remodels in all the Northstar original condo developments with a beautiful modern kitchen, washer dryer, steam shower, heated floors, BBQ, wood burning fireplace, beautiful cherry hardwood floors. Decks off both the Master Bedroom and Living Room which overlook the Aspen Grove behind the condo. Plus all the amenities one would expect from a top of the line condo including; a new high definition TCL/Roku Mini LED TV home entertainment system, surround sound, DVD/PS2 Docking Station, DVD library, high speed internet, printer, games in ottoman, gourmet kitchen with new GE Profile Cooktop, wine refrigerator, comfortable beds, wonderful linens and towels, washer dryer, August Keypad lock, etc. Take advantage of the Northstar Property Owners Association Club (NPOA) at the Village which includes: pools, hot tubs, workout room, massage, kids entertainment center, snack bar, etc. (check out the NPOA website for pictures and details - https://npoa.info.) Golf Course is just down the street.

This wonderful property was previously listed by a professional property manager for 7 years and garnered wonderful 5 star reviews - 9/10 on average.
We are currently offering a discount of 10% for bookings made three months in advance and a discount for a booking one day in advance (if this is logistically possible).

Our condo is not available for an entire "Ski Lease" since we use it as a family during the off weeks and weekends.

We recommend the guests purchase third-party travel insurance, particularly in the winter months.

Dispose of all under sink trash and recycle in the "Bear Bin" located up the driveway on the right. There is no separate recycle bin. (See binder for detailed check out instructions.)
Please return all (2) passes for the Rec Center to "the bear" and if you used the keys in the lock box return those also...See printed check in / out instructions in the binder. Safe drive home!

Great Condo and great location

We came so that my son and husband could mountain bike. The condo was very comfortable, pretty and clean. We had a wonderful week. Location is fantastic. Owner was very responsive and helpful. Kitchen had everything we needed.

outstanding property owner and great unit!

we had a great time. the unit is terrific: spacious, great location. the owner, Lou, deserves extra meritt: so helpful and fast to reply. we've stayed in a lot of vacation rentals, and Lou is one of the best property owners we've ever encountered. we will definitely stay here again.

The perfectly located cozy cabin!

The condo is a great location with easy access to the shuttle or a very short walk to the village. Lou was very gracious and great communication and willing to be of service to meet any of our needs! It’s definitely the cleanest pet friendly place we have stayed. I’m always apprehensive and nervous about renting pet friendly homes as I have severe allergies of shedding dogs, and if it’s not well maintained my doodles never relax and always pacing. Not here! My allergies were not even activated and the pups relaxed and enjoyed the stay as much as we did! We all felt right at home and We will be back!

North Star Condo

The location of this condo is fantastic. I have stayed here both in the winter and the summer. It is a 5 minute walk from Northstar Village and there is an easy on-call shuttle to take to the foot of the ski resort entrance in the winter. There are tens of shops and restaurants in the village, ice skating/roller skating, and gondola ride to the Ritz on the mountain is a must! From the condo, it is also a short drive to Kings Beach for beach time on Lake Tahoe, and restaurants in Kings Beach and Truckee. The condo itself is very cozy, has an upgraded kitchen with beautiful counter tops, quiet bedrooms, and a super warm steam shower! True to it's name, the master bedroom and the entire upstairs (and their decks) look over a large grove of aspen trees. I look forward to my next stay!

Charming, stylish, comfortable condo!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this lovely condo. When looking for a place in Northstar, we came across many generic looking units. This caught our eye with photos of updated features and stylish decor. And indeed, in real life, it is charming and comfortable. It has many nice decorative touches throughout, including great lighting and light fixtures The kitchen is beautiful, spacious, well stocked and designed for cooking. The downstairs bedrooms have comfortable beds and stay cool for sleeping. It is conveniently located, being the closest condo group to The Village - an easy walk or quick shuttle ride if you're schlepping skis. Lou, our host, was extremely attentive and responsive, checking in with us beforehand to make sure we had all the info we needed, and following up afterwards. As you see, we give it a 5 star rating and would go back without hesitation.

Beautiful updated condo with many extras!

Lou's condo is gorgeously appointed. Beautifully yet comfortably furnished with perks such as heated floors and a steam shower! The master bed and pillows were soooo comfortable, had to look under sheets/pillowcase to note the brand! Came with firewood, movies, games, nice cookware and all we needed. It was very moderately priced, and Lou was super nice and available, and even very generously let us over stay our checkout since we were snowed in. The only thing that may prohibit us from renting again in the winter, is by the map I was thinking it was a little closer to the village. In the summer, or with less snow, it would be no problem at all to walk over to club/pool/arcade and village. But with so much snow we weren't able to walk with in our ski boots carrying skis, and the shuttle was very unreliable. Once had to wait out in cold for 30 minutes for it. Other time taking it home from village, missed our stop and had to drive every Northstar neighborhood before finally going back to village and starting over. This of course has no bearing on wonderful condo, just bad shuttle service and too much snow! Highly recommend.

Beautiful condo that was really close to the village

My family spent the weekend here and had a great time. The condo is beautiful. Everything was updated and easy to use. The owner was great to work with. Northstar Village is so close we would walk there several times per day. We had a great stay.

Prime location!

Lou was wonderful to work with! The condo was very nice and in a perfect spot. Within walking distance to the little village and a 15 minute drive down to the lake. We will definitely be booking with Lou again!

Nice unit, owner was super-easy to work with

Nice condo, comfortable and well-equipped. We were there for a work-related conference and for mountain biking. Condo was well-located for both. Heated floors downstairs were a welcome treat! It was pretty cold at night, we made a cozy fire in the fireplace.

Feb. 20th-27th Ski Trip

Property was located as stated and close to the base. The dial a ride was excellent and picked us up with-in two minutes of our call everyday. Very clean and the owner communication was excellent and he answered all our questions. Only problem was the clip that holds the shower head on the bar was broken and the shower head had to be hand held. We didn't report it to the owner but know he would have had it fixed if we would have called him. It didn't cause us a problem as we were to busy skiing and sleeping to worry about it. It was a great trip and I believe anybody staying there would love it. Jim

Perfect location and ameneties

Had a great time staying at Lou's property in Northstar Village. The location was perfect - close to village and skiing and the condo itself was great (felt recently refurbished). Would recommend to anyone with a small group heading to Tahoe!

Great home away from home!

We have been going to Northstar for the last 10 to 12 years and this was hands down the nicest condo that we have rented! We have stayed in all of the various communities (Aspen Grove, Indian Hills, Gold Bend, the Village, etc.) within the Northstar resort including the newest condos in the village and this was by far our favorite. The accommodations were truly first class and Lou (the owner) took a personal interest in ensuring that we enjoyed our stay, and checked on us when we arrived to see if there was anything that we needed. I cannot recommend this property highly enough. We'll definitely be back and this will be my first choice for every future visit!

This 1100 ft sq condo underwent over $125,000 in remodel and upgrades with an eye for the luxurious. It has absolutely every amenity including heated floors, steam shower, state of the art entertainment center and gourmet kitchen with all the trimmings!

You and your family have all access to the incredible Northstar Property Owners Association Club with year round swimming pools, workout facilities, massage, kids play area, tennis courts, etc Click on https://npoa.info for more details. You can ski back to the condo in winter (when there is snow!) and take the on demand Northstar Shuttle to the Village replete with wonderful restaurants, bars, shops and even a movie house with the latest releases. Definitely Kid and Pet friendly.
