Thoughtfully designed with a keen eye for detail, this 2-bedroom, 1-bathroom coastal gem comfortably sleeps up to 4 guests. With abundant natural light, smart space planning, and tasteful furnishings, every corner exudes classic coastal living.

Rodney was a great host, offered a lot of extra tips to enjoy the area. The cottage was lovely, it has everything we needed to enjoy some relaxing beach time. We really enjoyed the cool mornings on the porch, coffee time, watching the humming birds enjoying all the flowers in the yard. High recommend for some down time.

Great stay in OB!

We rented this cute little cottage for a short visit to OB. Walking distance to Newport Ave, Sunset Cliffs, and the beaches, it was exactly what we needed. The place is in very good condition and well maintained. The owner was great with communication too. Thanks!

Cozy, clean, and quiet!

We loved staying at Rodney’s. The space was just pristine, both inside and out. Quiet neighborhood in a great location and close to downtown. We loved sitting outside and watching all the hummingbirds and pollinators. Rodney’s communication was excellent - very responsive. Will definitely stay here again next time we’re in San Diego!

Great cottage. It was perfect for my family of 4. It had everything we needed and the location was great. We walked to shops, restaurants, and the beach. Rodney was very responsive anytime I needed anything.

Beautiful cottage home in a great location.

This beautiful cottage home is located in a great neighborhood, close to the water and within walking distance of many restaurants. It has lots of amenities, and everything we needed to have a relaxing and comfortable stay. The host was outstanding, and communication was perfect. We would definitely stay here again!

Cute little get away beach house

Adorable updated little beach house. Was all we needed for the 3 of us. Rodney was great! Good communication and helpful updates and suggestions for the area. Would stay there again.

Great stay!

The location of the cottage was great! Walking distance to everything in ocean beach! Rodney was an amazing host as well! We really enjoyed our stay. Only downside was the cottage got cold at night as there are no heat vents in the rooms.

Point Loma cottage

Very clean and decorated with great beachy colors. Great sunset views and a short walk to the ocean and the Ocean Beach neighborhood with lots of restaurants and shopping. Really enjoyed our visit

The cottage is conveniently located close to restaurants, shopping, and all the sites and attractions San Diego is known for - a veritable wonderland to spend entire days with family and friends (all within a short walk or drive).

The Sunset Cottage sits in the San Diego residential neighborhood of Ocean Beach (OB) - between Sunset Cliffs and the OB business district. The cottage is close enough to stay connected to the local scene (walk to the public beach, restaurants, dining and shopping) but far enough away to enjoy quite relaxation, sounds of splashing waves, and the ease of on-street parking - often right in front of the cottage.

The Sunset Cottage is two blocks from the coastline and secluded beaches, and is a short 10-15 min stroll to shops, restaurants, entertainment, and the public beach - offering lifeguard-supervised swimming and surfing areas, restrooms, and showers.

The Sunset Cottage is centrally located and a short 5-15 min drive to most area Universities, Sea World, Lego Land, Animal Safari Park, Downtown/Convention Center, and Balboa Park - the nation's largest urban cultural park. Balboa Park is home to 15 major museums, renowned performing arts venues, beautiful gardens and the world famous San Diego Zoo. The Park has an ever-changing calendar of museum exhibitions, plays, musicals, concerts, and classes—all in the beautiful and timeless setting.
