If you are visiting PEI and the surrounding area, this is an absolute gem! The property was well maintained with every amenity available. Our hosts welcomed us to their property and gave us a walk around and asked if we had any questions. They were also available in case something came up during our stay, the views of Charlottetown and the surrounding Harbor from the home was spectacular! The property was extremely clean and had every amenity you can ask for.Our hosts recommended a variety of great restaurants which we patronized and truly enjoyed. I would highly recommend this property.

What a lovely property! Perfectly located, great view of Charlottetown, with gracious hosts. A Level Two charging station is located within a 150 metre walk for EV drivers. Highly recommended!

One of the best properties we've ever stayed in. Doug and Mary are exceptional hosts—thoughtful, welcoming, and generous with their extensive knowledge of the area. They provided everything we could possibly need and then some. The home is beautifully designed and decorated, with high-quality furnishings and spectacular views of the harbour and Charlottetown. The bed, pillows, and linens were so comfortable that I wanted to take them home with me. The neighborhood feels quiet and safe, with a really nice walking path and groceries nearby. The location is perfect for exploring Charlottetown and taking day trips across the island. We won't hesitate to stay here again.

Great stay

We had a great time staying at your wonderful home. From watching the cruise ships arrive in the morning, to watching the sun set at night. It was relaxing and quiet.

Doug and Mary met us when we got there and showed us around the place. The space was beautiful and perfect for our pup too. We could walk with him right from the property to a nearby boardwalk. We found it very convenient to jump over the bridge and hit downtown Charlottetown in minutes. The location was perfect for day trips around the island. We would definitely recommend staying here!

Spectacular Sunsets

We enjoyed our stay at this Waterfront hideaway. The unit is well appointed and the bed supper comfy. The sunset view over the city was fantastic. We can highly recommend staying here.

Exceptional home away from home

Doug and Mary should publish the manual on appointing and stocking an exceptional vacation property. Extremely comfortable and quiet; fantastic location. Have already recommended this property to friends and relatives. Hope to come back here again.

home away from home

fantastic home in a beautiful area which was peaceful and relaxing.only ten minutes from downtown charlottown. our hosts doug and mary gave us our privacy but were always close by if you needed assistance .we loved this place and will be going back again.

PEI Welcome

This place was fully stocked with Everything you could ever want. It was very clean and quiet and the view at night was beautiful. Our hosts were very friendly and helpful. I would highly recommend this place for just a weekend or an extended stay.

Home in PEI

We could not have asked for a better place to stay. All around it was perfect. Doug and Mary were wonderful hosts and provided a clean, fully equipped, relaxing and beautiful home for our visit. We would highly recommend this charming home for a visit to Prince Edward Island.

Lovely apartment with beautiful view

Lovely, clean,comfortable,spacious and well equipped apartment. Every room had a window with a view of Charlottetown Harbour but enjoyed most sitting by the water’s edge sipping my morning coffee. The owners are very friendly and helpful and eager to make your stay a wonderful experience. Highly recommend this property, we had a fabulous 5 day stay here!

Well equipped, warm and welcoming, comfortable, attentive helpful hosts.

From the moment we arrived we felt so comfortable and welcome. This home is beautifully decorated, and so well equipped. Quiet refuge with direct and easy access to Charlottetown. A wonderful home away from home. We would recommend this home and would certainly not hesitate to return. Many thanks - a great beginning to our P.E.I. holiday.

This property has everything and more. The attention to detail in the provision of everything you could think of is just fantastic. We even had a 'junk drawer' in the kitchen for all the odds and ends that might be needed.If we could give 10 stars for this property we would.Our hosts went out of their way to accommodate our needs when we became caught up in the Air Canada strike and flights were cancelled.We would most definitely recommend this property to anyone visiting PEI.

Very comfortable apartment with stunning views

The owners were very welcoming and gave us plenty of information about the area - it was our first time on PEI. The apartment was very comfortable and well equipped and we enjoyed sunsets across the harbour. Unfortunately the wet weather did not allow us to enjoy the outdoor seating. A large supermarket was a short drive away and central Charlottetown only a few minutes across the bridge. The majority of PEI attractions were also easily accessible from the property. Overall a great stay.

Very Enjoyable Stay

Lovely 3 night stay!! Check in was a breeze. Apartment spotless and so well appointed. Had everything we needed. Loved the view of the Charlottetown Harbour and watching the Cruise Boats come in. Great place to unwind after a day of sightseeing/golfing. And Doug was right there to answer any questions and help us with a tv incident. Also Doug gifted us fresh veggies from his garden and a treat was waiting for us!! Thank You so much. Truly enjoyed our stay and hope to be back!! T & G from Manitoba

Amazing location

Property clean and as described in online photos. Quality furnishings and all accessories supplied. It was nice to be welcomed and orientated by the homeowners upon arrival. Hosts were friendly and a wealth of information when it came to Island history and suggested activities. The views were fantastic and ever changing with tide and ships coming and going in the harbor opposite the residence. Great place to relax and easy access to downtown and any services required. Personally, I enjoyed the many bike paths and quiet, secure neighborhood. Could not have made a better choice for an extended stay. Mary (June 20 - July 17, 2022)

We live in a nice safe neighborhood on the harbour front, in Stratford PEI, just across the Hillsborough River from historic Charlottetown. We enjoy gardening, watching the ships come and go and viewing the seabirds. Doug is a retired Operating Engineer and former Nationally Certified Professional Tour Guide. Mary is a retired RN and a great gardener.

Waterfront, waterfront, waterfront. Why here? Wonderful sunsets over the harbour, city views, lovely neighbourhood and neighbours. Close to everything. No stairs to climb. We love hosting vacationers, locums, business people and locals. Comfortable bedding, excellent amenities and clean. Great property location close to most everything you may need. Did I mention....great hosts?
