Beautiful fully furnished 2 bedroom 2 1/2 bathroom beach house on second row 50 meters from the beach in Sunny Chuburna Puerto,Yucatan,Mexico. Recent updates make this an ideal choice for those looking for a touch of modern comfort combined with authentic decor. Air conditioning in both bedrooms as well as main living area, and hot water with pressurized system, reliable Starlink satellite internet.

Fully fenced and very private back yard features a 4m x 6m filtered swimming pool, terraced deck and lush tropical gardens. Very spacious and private with southern exposure so there is LOTS of sunshine all day long .

Palapa hut provides shade in a large sandy area I call "Coco Beach" complete with ambient lighting inside the hut plus palm tree lights for nice night time vibes. Outdoor shower and toilet.

There is a wonderful and very spacious covered terrace in the front which provides a great place to hang your hammock and laze away the afternoon while being gently wafted by the breezes from the Gulf of Mexico just across the street.

Your toughest decision each day will be swimming in the Gulf of Mexico across the street or in the large outdoor pool in the back yard and whether you prefer margaritas, mojitos or pina colados they all taste better when you are sipping them in paradise.

Great place if you want peace and quiet. 2 Min to the ocean, new pool, kitchen has everything you need, local restaurants nearby, check in went smooth, the host and the on site team were great, for shopping you need a car though. We were happy and recommend Casa Leila strongly. Sonja and Frank

Lovely House

The house was a perfect beach house and the backyard and pool were amazing. Mike who helps take care of the house was really helpful during our stay and we found the house to be very comfortable. The area is very safe and peaceful. The beach that is a short walking distance is swimmable but a bit eroded (like most of the coastline). But the beach about 10 minutes drive (past Chuburná) was truly awesome with turquoise clear water, a large expanse of white sand, shallow enough for kids to play safely, and not overrun with other people.

Absolutely incredible

This property was spectacular so close to the beach, but the property, especially the backyard with pool and all the outside amenities makes you just so content to stay home. The location is perfect because you are away from everyone but just a 10 minute drive either way and you’re in one of the lovely towns.. honestly cannot say enough about how wonderful this property is. It even has an air fryer, there’s nothing you could want that already hasn’t been thought of

Privacy and peace!

If you are a couple or a couple with young kids who want privacy and space as well as proximity to the ocean - this place is for you! Roger (the owner) was always available on WhatsApp to answer questions and suggest eateries, shopping areas, and car rentals. There is a property manager who lives in Merida She was very friendly but less responsive or helpful. Our check in was flawless with Mike(a next door neighbour and friend of Roger’s). Mike was knowledgeable, helpful and friendly. Although he lived close by he was very respectful of our privacy The house is well equipped,the front porch spacious and the backyard a true oasis. Understandably, living far away and renting a place, there is a lot of trust put into the hard working house cleaner, gardener, and pool cleaner. Upon check in the house was not as clean as we would have hoped. The floors were dirty, the walls were dirty, the fridge had mold and the second bathroom had mold. This may have been an oversight with the cleaners as we are not sure how long it had been unoccupied. There were some maintenance issues - clogging and leaking kitchen sink, leaking fridge and leaking main bathroom sink. While the property manager did make a visit during our six week stay to discuss these issues, she did not follow through with a plumber visit. We made repairs best we could while we there to minimize water damage and mentioned the issues to the owner. It was a pleasure to meet Roger before we left. While the issues we had during our stay were minor l, it was reassuring to know he would be onsite to correct them and ensure future guests are not bothered by them at all. Overall our six week vacation was incredibly relaxing, private and enjoyable. Thanks Roger! Until next time. Stephen and Linda

Great value for the money
