This comfortable house provides up and downstairs amenities. The master bedroom with bath is on the ground floor; the other full bedroom and sleeping areas are upstairs. Thel loft with great views that can be used for additional sleeping space or relaxation. TV and Wireless Internet connectivity. Large deck oversees the landscaped yard, pond and ocean. Within walking distance of private beach. Outside shower and grill.

This home is located in a quiet rural area surrounded by pine trees and coastal landscaping, with a view of Sengekontacket Pond and Nantucket Sound. A substantial deck provides an amazing view of the area.

Within a mile of the house, one will find the bustling town of Oak Bluffs with shopping, restaurants, movie theaters, the Flying Horses Carousel and other entertainment. Restaurants are as varied as the town and sea food is abundantly available. Those interested in the arts can visit the Featherstone Center for the Arts or Andrew Moore studio.

Farm Neck Golf Course is adjacent to Waterview Farm and State Beach is within a 5 mile drive or a kayak ride across the pond. Felix Neck Wildlife Sanctuary is in the next cove providing abundant nature trails for hiking.

Outdoor activities include bicycling and hiking. Extensive beach and water activities offer kayaking, jet skis, sailing, boat charters and fishing. The house offers each access to these amenities.

Located within easy driving distance of other island towns. Each town has it's own unique personality and attractions. Enjoy the shopping, site seeing and different restaurants of each area. Drive to Aquinnah to see spectacular view of the ocean and the many lighthouses.

One of the most relaxing vacations with many opportunities for activities or just enjoying the scenery and people.

Lovely property. The views are mesmerizing. Lift didn’t allow for privacy at night but we were able to work it out and everything else was wonderful.

Our stay at this Oak Bluffs rental was just about perfect! The home is cozy, clean, and well maintained, with good views and a peaceful atmosphere that made it easy to unwind. The kitchen was well-appointed with everything we needed to cook meals at home, which made our stay even more comfortable and convenient. And we also used the gas grill on the deck.While tucked away in a beautiful and peaceful community, the house is convenient to all the island’s attractions—beaches, restaurants, and shops were just minutes away. The high-speed WiFi was fast and reliable, ideal for a bit of remote work. Check-in was smooth, and the owners’ agent was incredibly responsive and helpful throughout our stay.We would rent again.

MV oasis

As a Family of six with 3 generations and annual MV renters, this was a top notch, beautiful vacation house. Glorious views and access to a private beach that was a delightful spot for grandma to read and meander. And blue crab fishing and kayaking for the 10yo twins and 13yo. House was spic and span and had just the right amount of stuff to ease our packing list and house manager was very responsive and helpful.Cheers to anyone that gets to experience this listing. You can count on getting more than enough R&R.

perfect for our group

Once a year my three daughters and I go away for a weekend. We try to get good sleeping accommodations and a view. This house had two bedrooms and two side/loft rooms, which worked perfectly as we all go to bed at the same time. The location seemed perfect as we were exploring the whole island. Lovely deck and view.

Great location, roomy house and quiet.

Overall, this is a great house to stay in. Great view of the pond, great walking area, very quiet, you're all on your own, kitchen is well stocked with everything you'd need to make your meals. We were impressed. The house is a little tired, but very clean and comfortable. We enjoyed staying there.

Very Disappointed

To say our group was disappointed in our stay is an understatement. When we first booked our trip, based on the pictures and interactions with the owners, we were optimistic that we would fall in love with the property and possibly become regular renters, but unfortunately that was not the case. The house is not 3 beds 3 baths; it’s 2 beds, a loft, 2 baths and an outdoor shower. Before we could even unpack our bags we had to go around the house with a Dustbuster clearing cobwebs from the ceiling; there were also dead bugs in the kitchen sink and bathtub. So clearly after the property was turned over from the previous guests a month prior, no one had been back to freshen up before we came. We then spent the rest of the week killing various insects inside the home. They were everywhere, kitchen, showers, living room, loft area, etc. I never unpacked my suitcase for fear something would crawl in. There were water stains in the ceiling of the downstairs bathroom and around one of the recessed lights in the downstairs hallway leading to the bathroom. The previous renters left a note outlining areas for improvement at the property and those things were still not fixed like the broken kitchen drawer. They also had lawn maintenance done while we were there, which should’ve been taken care of beforehand. I’m not sure how hands on the owners are with this property, but they may want to start paying attention before too many bad reviews stack up and they lose their Superhost status.

Magical Stay

Being previous home owners on the Vineyard, the bar is set high and this property did not disappoint. The house was outstanding, the grounds well kept and the view was amazing. The private beach, a short stroll down a field path, was perfect. Owners were always quick to communicate and the rental process was flawless. Property Manager, as well.

The home was wonderful. It was more than the pictures. It's a large home with ample space. Leslie was super in communicating with our needs. The view is lovely, very quiet, in a good location between all towns to visit. We did not have a chance to use the kayaks, sad to say, a bit windy and chilly. All in all, I'd definitly go back!!!

Beautiful Spot

We just had a family reunion at the Schrade family's beautiful property. It was clean, very comfortable with an amazing view of the pond. Just 10 minutes from the center of Oakbluffs was a perfect location for us. We would stay here again in a heartbeat.

Wonderful home for a Fall getaway.

This was an excellent stay for us and our young child. Great location in a wonderful community. The water view was lovely, and this is a great home for a family vacation. Leslie was super responsive and very easy and accommodating to work with.

Light filled home

Loved this place - we had 6 of us staying - all adults (adult kids though) Really pretty and the view is amazing. Wish we could've stayed during summer, but we were there for wedding and rehearsal etc., so not much time spent on property. But just keep in mind, it's all very open, so not a lot of privacy for the upstairs rooms. But we were all related and my adult kids didn't really care~

They retired to the Island and enjoyed all that there is to do in this wonderful place, particularly water sports, golf, and great friends and restaurants. They have both passed on, but the family treasures the house and children and grandchildren continue to enjoy the house when we can. We want to share some of the wonderful times with all of you and hope you will enjoy the house and build some memories of your own..

This home provides an ideal location for visitors to Martha's Vineyard. Waterview farms is a quiet, well-maintained area that provides an excellent change of pace and get away from the stressors of everyday life. Yet with all of the peace, the house is close to Oak Bluffs and the shopping, unique restaurants and entertainment of the town. It is next door to an exceptional golf course which provides for a great game and magnificent views, and the Felix Neck sanctuary where one can experience various bird and reptile populations and a great nature walk. We are within walking distance of a private beach and a few minutes from the public and much larger state beach. Good view of Sengekontacket Pond and Nantucket Sound. It is easily accessible to the other towns on the Island , Edgartown and Vineyard Haven.
