Thank you for your kind words, Phil! Yes, we love the decks and being right on the beach too. The ocean breeze and the views are spectacular! I'm sorry about the bugs. We had a very wet couple of weeks before you arrived. I had already ordered the county to spray for mosquitoes before you arrived, and they have now sprayed our property and the whole peninsula. I'm so glad that the kids loved the bunk beds. That's great! Our kids love bunk beds. Regarding the other mattresses, everyone likes different firmness and types of mattresses. It sounds like the ones we had were almost perfect, so that's good. Before purchasing them, I spent a month reading consumer reports, mattress reviews, and online recommendations for mattresses. (Yes, I'm a scientist, so I went a little crazy over it) Then I asked my friends and family what they like. My sister likes a firm mattress. Her husband likes a very soft mattress. She said they are never both completely comfortable on the same mattress. I then went into the stores and got recommendations from the mattress reps. Since the mattresses were not just for us, the conclusion was to get top of the line mattresses that were not firm, not extra soft, but somewhere in between. I like a softer mattress, so I got ones on the softer side of that because even the softest new mattresses, if top of the line, provide plenty of support. Everyone likes different ones, so we tried to get ones that would be best for all. Thanks for staying, Phil and family. You are welcome back any time! Tammy

The pristine natural beauty, wildlife, and the closeness to the Cape Canaveral National Seashore are why we moved here. I'm so glad you were able to see the wildlife and beauty of this area. Hi Krista, I'm so glad that you had a great time! I was at the house with a bunch of kids from our robotics club. They especially liked the tube, so I got some more and put them into the garage. I'm glad you were able to use them and have fun! I just contacted the county and asked them to spray my neighborhood. Thanks for telling me. Wow! I'm so glad you had such a great time. It is definitely away from the crowds and noise of New Smyrna Beach. That's why we chose it. I spent most of my childhood on a farm, so I love nature and being away from it all. Thanks for the idea about the beach cruiser bikes. I was thinking about adding some in the garage for this summer.
