Spacious deck offers a great water view. Private community lake front conveniently located directly in front of this property with sandy beach, covered pavilion and beach.playground. Other neighborhood amenities include tennis, pool, docks, and boat launch. Owners canoes and kayak are on site for enjoyment.

Great space and room for family

Check in was flawless, super owner communication throughout! Many options to grill, cook etc. Not too many options in the area with restaurants and we like to cook so this was idealCommunity pool was funLake access easy and close by

Very comfortable home

The home was very clean and comfortable! We enjoyed having lawn games, fire pit and lots of outdoor space. We did go to public side for boat rental and cooler water temps. Fun get away!!

Perfect Family Getaway on Lake Anna!

We loved our stay at this peaceful, family-friendly lake house. The beach was just a short walk away, and the free kayaks and canoes made it easy to enjoy lake life. Plus, it’s dog-friendly — a big win for our whole family. We can’t wait to come back!

Great family location

Easy check in, lots of amenities and close to whatever you will need as a family. Spend your days kayaking or on the lake and then go for an evening swim in the pool. This place has it all.

5 Star Lake Anna Retreat

Our Stay at Ken's Lake Anna home was perfect! The house is spacious, clean, and stocked with everything a family could want to have fun and also get some rest and relaxation. We brought our 16mo daughter and felt the house was very safe for her to run around .The close proximity to the beach and playground is a big bonus and the neighborhood is quiet, friendly, and safe. We will definately be recommending Ken's home to our family and friends andhope to visit again soon.

A slice of heaven on the lake

We had a lovely stay at this house on Lake Anna. The place was equipped with everything we could possibly need. The host made available a kayak and canoe as part of the rental, which we used several times. They were connected to wheels, and it was a very short walk down to the lake. Loved waking up every morning to this beautiful yard and lake view with a cup of coffee. It is every bit as beautiful as the pictures. We used the fire pit one night and made s’mores. The kids (18 year olds) used the pool in the common area, and had it all to themselves. We brought our dog, and he had a great time too. Many of the restaurants have outdoor seating so we were able to take the dog with us. There’s a Food Lion only 10 minutes away. We would definitely stay here again.

Everything you need to Relax

We were a little skeptical regarding the number of people we had (7 adults and a dog) to the size of the house, We weren’t sure if we would have enough room. Boy were we wrong! We had plenty of room to lounge and not trip over each other. Kitchen is stocked with your essentials, but bring your own spices. The beds were soft and comfortable. Water pressure is good too! They have well water that is filtered, and it doesn’t taste bad, which was nice because we drink a lot of water. We used the Kayak and the Canoes just about every day- short walk down to the lake. We had access to the community pool and tennis courts, but did not need or want to use it, we were happy by the lake. This house is definitely dog friendly. The yard was nice and our dog was more relaxed here than at home. She enjoyed it as much as we did. There is a grocery store ( Food Lion) and a Dollar General a very short distance from the house. Made it very easy to go to on a daily to get food for dinner. The one thing we were not aware of is the lake is warm, like bath water. Apparently the local plant uses the lake to cool the reactors. Did not bother us AT ALL, still was nice to get in and be refreshed. There are things to do within a short drive. Most things are within 15 minutes (Jet Skis, Horseback riding, restaurants, Winery). Ping pong, corn hole and ram can along with other games & puzzles at the house. EASY check in/departure too LOVE our hosts, VERY attentive and answer your questions quickly!

Fun vacation

We enjoyed our time in your home! It was clean and comfortable. Only a 2 min walk to the beach. We enjoyed kayaking and paddle boarding. We would consider renting there again. Thanks!

Family vacation

We had a wonderful family vacation at Lake Anna. This was our first time here. The pictures of the house and location don’t do it justice. The house is located in a nice friendly neighborhood. The house is cozy and very nice. It had everything we needed. We especially liked the proximity to the lake and being able to use the kayak. We hope to come back in the future. The owners were very responsive with our needs/ questions.

Wonderful Week

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! The house was incredible and the area picturesque. The owner was nice and answered our questions about local landmarks and potential activities. A map of the immediate area is only thing that would have made the trip even better (it took us a long bike ride to find the pool and tennis courts). Certainly one of the most relaxing vacations we’ve ever taken. Thank you!

Mother’s Day Weekend Stay

We spent a wonderful weekend away at Ken’s lake house. We booked this just a week in advance so we could get away for Mothers Day weekend. The house was possibly the cleanest place that we’ve rented. We didn’t see any bugs or dog hair inside, even though it’s dog friendly and on the lake. It was a very short walk across a road, that’s barely used, to a playground and small beach, which was perfect for our two young kids. Our kids loved playing in the very warm water and sand, and looking at all of the fish in the lake. It was so peaceful sitting on front porch looking at the lake In the evening. We really hope we can come back again soon!

Super Host

We really enjoyed our stay! Communication was quick and easy and the host really cared about our stay. The walk to the water was quick and easy and little to no traffic crossing the street, which was great. There were plenty of things to do both in the water and at the home. Supermarket and restaurants were nearby, which was very convenient. The house was well maintained. You guys are Super Host for a reason. Thank you so much!

Great Lakeside Getaway

Peaceful, quiet setting and a large, clean home. My wife and son were very happy to wake up with the geese and deer, thank you for hosting us. Grocery store is close by and the local sushi place was surprisingly great!

Nice long weekend

We stayed here for a last minute long weekend getaway for my birthday. I really liked having coffee on the front porch and enjoying the view of the lake. My husband liked cooking up smores at the firepit. And our 7 year old son liked canoeing, kayaking, swimming, and the playground. The house was in a great location, I loved the decor, and the owner was helpful and responsive. Would definitely stay again.

Lovely Life on the Lake

Clean, spacious, spectacular view and all the amenities and extras. Our vacation was wonderful with so much to do. The playground and lake are a stones throw from the house. We canoed, swam, and caught fish with our nets (and released). We launched our boat and did water sports on both sides of the lake. We cooked at the house and grilled one night. We also spent the day at the Lake Anna Taphouse which was kid friendly with games and a huge outdoor area. The pool facility is beautiful and refreshing. I even did a water aerobics class. Ken was an outstanding host- friendly, accommodating informative. This was an A+ experience.

Unfortunately, my husband took ill 2 days before we were to arrive so we couldn't go. But my sister and her husband and kids raved about it. Hoping to finally see it for ourselves.
