This is a 3 bedroom 2 bath well furnished two-story cabin/house on a wooded 1 acre lot. There is a large front deck with a gas grill and shaded seating perfect for family meals. Outdoor seating for 10. There is a swing and yard toys for additional entertainment outdoors. Inside enjoy WiFi, Smart TV, DVD player as well as an enclosed sun room with plenty of toys and board games for kiddos. The granite countertop kitchen is fully equipped. Everything you need for a family friendly getaway is readily available including baby gear such as a pack n play, high chair, baby gates, and booster seat. Due to recent forest fire activity we no longer allow fires outside in the fire pit.

Apologies in advance but we do not accept pets. Thank you for respecting that.

Primary bedroom downstairs feautures a King bed, the primary bedroom upstairs offers another King bed, and the third bedroom holds two sets of twin bunk beds. All bedrooms have ceiling fans and blackout curtains. The bathrooms are separate from the rooms allowing easy access for all guests.

There are an abundance of family friendly activities in and around Heber Overgaard including fishing, hiking, ATV/UTV trails and seasonal hunting opportunities.

Woods Canyon, Willow Springs, Forest Lakes, Black Canyon and Bear Canyon Lakes are all within 20 min of the cabin.

Bison Ranch is just 5 min away and provides cute boutique shops, restaurants, and a large grass area perfect for a picnic. Show Low and Pinetop are within 30-45 min providing additional fun day trip, shopping, and dining options.

There are multiple restaurants within 3-5 minutes from the property yet based on the location of the cabin, it feels secluded and tucked away in the woods - a true getaway. Popular restaurants include June's Café, Bakers Ponderosa Café, Three Bears Café, The Red Onion, Wild Women Saloon, Casa Ramos and The Cabin Bar and Grill. Excellent places for breakfast, brunch, lunch, and dinner.

The White Mountain Lakes including Big Lake, Hawley Lake, Horseshoe Cienega Lake, Reservation and Show Low Lake are all within 1-1.5 hour drive making them easy day trips.

Wildlife is frequently seen on the property including Elk and Deer, a true forest paradise!

Two Night Minimum is required unless otherwise noted for holidays.

What a wonderful stay. The perfect cabin for families with littles. Our grandson loved the playroom and swing. We all loved the spacious rooms, fully stocked kitchen and patio with grill. This is a well thought out cabin. We are leaving very relaxed and happy. We loved our stay.

Very nice rental. Quiet, private, and relaxing. Although only my wife and I occupied the home, it is nicely set up for families with the porch converted to a dedicated kids area. They have numerous games, movies, and fun things for kids.We had two challenges:1. Google Maps navigated us to the wrong home... so look at the address markers at the end of the driveways.2. The driveway has very loose rock, not compatible with a heavy touring motorcycle. I almost dropped our motorcycle numerous times. We would definitely recommend this rental.

Reel Paradise was a wonderful getaway for our family's Christmas. The host was very accommodating and helpful. The cabin was fully equipped with everything we could need. Not having to bring baby furniture such as a pack and play and highchair was a bonus. Our 15 month old grandson really enjoyed the playroom.

Wonderful stay!

My only regret is we should have stayed longer. Located in a quiet rim top community, the cabin was spotlessly clean with everthing we needed to relax and have a great time. Our grandkids loved it! Would not hesitate rent this cabin again.

Great Property

This is our 2nd time at this property and not our last. Everything you need and great communication with the owner. Pictures are accurate. Very roomy and well appointed. Great place to rest, relax and rejuvenate.

Great Cabin in the Woods

The cabin was clean, well-equipped, and perfectly set up for two families, with two king bedrooms and a fun bunk room for the kids. It’s a great place to unplug, as there’s only one smart TV and the internet is a bit slow—but that just adds to the charm of the getaway.One of the highlights of our stay was the wildlife—deer and elk visited the property, making for a truly magical experience. The surrounding neighborhood is also stunning, with beautiful homes and a peaceful atmosphere.We wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again on our next trip!

Great family cabin. Well equipped and loved the deck.

Great cabin for families. Kids were entertained in the safety of the play room while the adults enjoyed the deck. Weather was nice enough to eat on the deck each breakfast and dinner. Air conditioning cooled off the cabin for afternoon naps. Nice neighborhood to enjoy a walk. Very well equipped kitchen. Well thought out supplies for the kids including step stools, baby gates, booster seat, and pack and play. We would love to rent again.

Great cabin for families!

The ReelParadise cabin lives up to its billing ... especially with kids. My wife and I had the pleasure of staying along with our 8 and 4 year old. There were ample toys already there. We enjoyed playing board games, watching movies, and most of all, the kids enjoyed the swing. Who knew? They spent over six hours (across a couple of days) playing together on a SWING! Kitchen is well outfitted with quality (not Ikea) cooking tools. Lots of wonderful glassware, great selection of plastic and ceramic plates. Downstairs bed was huge and very comfortable. Kids love the bunk beds upstairs. The owners have done a great job. Nothing felt 'cheap' and it really enhanced our enjoyment feeling like this was a home way from home. A few notes - AC is all window units, and that can overpower the breaker. You have to pack-out your trash (though the cleaning lady offered to take ours, which was very nice). You DO NOT have to do a floor-to-ceiling cleaning on checkout, as we've been asked to do at other places, but keep the place nice, and get a load or two of laundry done to help out (towels and sheets). This isn't a "view" property, but the front yard is ample, and the street is incredibly quiet. You'd be lucky to have 2 cars pass by a day. I highly recommend this cabin. We've stayed in about a dozen places, and this is the best place we've stayed at in Arizona. Overgaard is well placed for trips to Woods Canyon/Willow Canyon Lake, we also visited Fools Canyon Lake in Showlow. An hour away is Petrified National Forrest, and a lot more. Restaurants are a bit hit or miss - especially during the week - but everyone is nice. We had a nice hour trail ride with the kids, hosted by Robert at the stables right next to the Wild Women Saloon (try the fried pickles - they were solid).

That’s our little ones favorite as well, so good to see them connecting and playing outdoors! That’s what it’s all about. Since your stay we wired the A/C units to dedicated breakers so no more issues with them tripping the circuit. Looking forward to having you stay again.

Great getaway

This stay was exactly what I was looking for and needed. The listing was spot on to match the experience. The host was responsive and friendly. The property had everything we needed and more. The area was quiet and pristine. Great place for a family escape, outdoor adventure and very kid friendly. Would stay here again anytime.

Came back.

We are a family of 6 with kiddos all under the age of 13. This is our second time staying here as it provides everything we need to make everyone happy 😊. From the playroom, bunkbeds, toys outside, and a large lot, the kiddos have plenty to do to keep busy and let the adults relax. The cabin is always preped with ample amount supplies, TP, kitchen utensils, towels, games, bedding, pillows, and much more to provide a easy stay. We'll definitely return as it's a short distance from us "from the valley folks" 2.5 hour drive. We had a chance to utilize the firepit outside as the weather was perfect to enjoy sitting around outside and enjoy the fresh air and stars. We'll definitely return and always enjoyed our stay at Reel Paradise. P.S Make sure and give some love to the sweetest dog "Stella" 🐕 from the backyard side. She loves her attention and greeting you during your stay. Ballard Family

Something for everyone to enjoy

Enjoyed three days at Reel Paradise. One day was rainy, but host had provided an assortment of toys and games as well as large screen TV. Once the sun came out we were able to get out and enjoy the peaceful and beautiful surroundings. Kitchen is well supplied, bbq worked great and we were able to get a few things we from market not too far away. Look forward to visiting this beautiful place again. Hosts were great and responsive!

Fun Family Cabin in the Woods

This cabin has it ALL. Lots of space. A large kitchen with lots of utensils, pots, pans, silverware, etc. plus a dishwasher and microwave. The outside patio/deck has a half roof and a nice picnic table with chairs and a big BarBQ. Has a full size washer and dryer. All types of electronic hook ups with a good WIFI. A big game/play room for the little kids to play and lots of games and toys for their use. Has a big living room with a large couch and two ottomans. A GREAT CABIN TO RELAX AND CHILL OUT.

Great 4th of July Stay

My family came up to experience what Heber had to offer for the holiday. The cabin was in a great location and quiet. The kids loved the tree swing and frisbees! The beds were a too hard for our liking but everyone is different. Great trip. Thank you!

Quiet retreat

Lovely place to stay! It had plenty of room for multiple guests and a playroom for the kids as well. The king size beds were very comfortable. It was a good location too… close to multiple lakes. We went to willow springs lake and woods canyon lake - 20 mins away. We will definitely find time to go back and stay here again.

Lovely Getaway

This was my first VRBO experience, and I can say based on this home we stayed in, I will be opting to finding a VRBO rental before searching for a hotel. It was wonderful and the accommodations were spectacular.

Amazing experience

This was a beautiful cabin, very spacious, nice backyard and patio, and we loved how kid-friendly it was! My family and I truly enjoyed our stay and had an amazing experience. We will definitely rent this again!

Loved our Long Weekend at Reel Paradise

There was plenty to do at this lovely getaway. We used the fire pit every night and the porch table every morning. We will definitely be going back!

Excellent cabin, easy check in/check out

Great location, easy check in and check out process. Cabin is clean, beautiful, warm. Only issue, and I assume this is the area and not the cabin itself but the location, is the wifi is very slow. It's virtually impossible to stream / work from the location. So, go there to relax!

Wonderful

We loved this perfect cabin in the pines, and were so happy to be able to be outdoors in the cooler weather. Water guns provided endless enjoyment and encouraged running in the big flat yard. We brought bikes and had fun biking the quiet paved roads in the area with our grand kids. We called the fire line and were able to sit around a camp fire! It was a wonderful experience to really feel like we had gone away and had a perfect cabin experience. Thank you so much for sharing :)
