Cozy Yellow Lakefront Cottage

This quaint lakefront 2 Br, 1 Bath cottage is located within a family friendly association on the southwest side of beautiful Higgins Lake. The lake is spring fed and clear with a sandy bottom so conditions are excellent for kids (and adults) to play and swim in the water. The cottage is completely furnished, very clean and well maintained.
The two bedrooms each have a queen bed. There is a queen sofa bed in the living room and a double sofa bed in the sunroom. Bed linens are furnished.
The bath has a tub/shower combination. Towels are furnished. Please bring your own beach towels.
The kitchen has an electric stove, refrigerator, microwave, coffee maker and toaster. Dishes and pots and pans are included. There is an ample eating area in the kitchen.
Ceiling fans are in the bedrooms, living room, kitchen and sunroom. There is air conditioner in the living room. There is wifi available. Our association is a smoke free environment. Thanks
This cottage is clean, bright and cheerful thanks to the many (new) windows.

Heaven on Earth

We loving staying at the Yellow Cottage. It is our 5th year and feels like coming home. The people are friendly and the water is just beautiful and peaceful.

Beautiful and relaxing and the people are so friendly.

The cottage is so design so cute and you can see the lake from the front window of the sun porch. Such a beautiful little get a way.

Great place on the water!

we had a wonderful stay at Jerrys place! Everyone in the community was kind and welcoming- our kids were able to play with other kids! We enjoyed keeping our boat in the water and we loved having the basketball court. thanks for a great stay in a beautiful location!

Great little cottage right on beautiful Higgins Lake. Property was very clean and had everything we needed for our stay. Was awesome we could tie our boat up out front of the cottage! Jerry was great to work with and responded very quickly to any questions. Would 100% book again!!

Great cottage for resting and relaxing but if you want water it is right in front of you.

My husband and I came up to rest and relax. We enjoyed watching the watching the water and being in the water. The people are so nice and friendly. The cottage is beautiful, decorated cute and very clean. We can’t wait to rent from them again. Best experience highly recommend this cottage.

Great stay!

This is our second year staying here, and we are already booked for come back next year. You couldn’t get a better location! The cottage is clean and provides more than enough space. It sits right on the water with beautiful views and access to the lake, especially if you have a boat moored. Jerry communicates very effectively and all of the people we met/talked with on the property were very friendly and helpful as well.

Charming cottage

I absolutely adore this cottage and how it’s decorated. It is set up perfectly for our family. The kitchen was perfect for our needs as I cooked for my family every day there. Check in was super easy as well as check out. This is our second year here and we will return again as long as we can book in time as this books up fast.There were times (especially weekend days) that the shared dock can get very busy, but that did not affect us and our enjoyment of the property.

Up North Tradition

We have stayed at this little cottage 3 times over the last 7 summers and we always have a great time. Our mom actually stayed here as a kid before my grandparents built their house which is still right down the road. The host is always available and communicative and the residents in the area always make us feel welcome. You can’t find a better location and the price is just right. The only complaint we’ve had is that it gets too hot in the west side of the cottage in the afternoon and evening. They have added a portable a/c which helps. Otherwise, it is always a great stay.

Higgins Lake Gem

What a lovely waterfront cottage! We were very impressed with how clean and bright it was. It was very comfortable, especially when we had 7 adults there for several of the days. Many of the comforts of home were there, especially in the kitchen, where we did a lot of cooking (and eating!) Loved being able to have the boat we rented moored in the harbor. The swimming area off of the dock was truly a plus. Loved it. Everyone we met, was so friendly and welcoming; we really felt at home. Any questions or issues that came up were promptly addressed. We definitely want to return and would certainly recommend it for families.
