Benidorm is approx 20 minutes away on the motorway where there are many attractions including the Terra Mitica theme park, a huge water amusement park called Aqualandia and Mundomar which is a marine & exotic animal park with daily Dolphin shows. There are many historical towns to visit including Murcia,Orihuela,Elche (the shoe manufacturing capital of Spain) and not forgetting Alicante (approx 10 mins away).So often overlooked but it is a lovely town for a days shopping with numerous restaurants and cafes to visit.There are tree lined avenues to wander down or just to sit and watch the world go by.
