Hidden Dunes Cottage 140 Professionally Managed by Newman-Dailey

Cottage 140 is a lovely, 2 BR, 2 bath that has been newly remodeled! New kitchen, new baths, new furniture! Cottage 140 sleeps 7 comfortably. With a King bed in the Master Bedroom, a Full size bed and a Twin in the Guest Bedroom and a sleeper sofa, there is plenty of sleeping accommodations for your family. This cottage is one of very few that have a glassed in screen porch, overlooking the tennis courts!

This makes a great vacation spot for tennis lovers as well as young families who just want to enjoy sun and sand!! Cottage 140 is very short walking distance to the pool and about a 10 minute walk to the beach! A great time can be had by all who stay in Cottage 140 for their next vacation!

Hidden Dunes offers six tennis courts with a Rubico Clay surface, which is the highest standard for clay tennis courts, and are maintained daily in order to provide the best playing conditions. Proper tennis attire is required to play and we encourage you to call ahead to schedule a match or take advantage of our clinics and private lessons. Please call to inquire about cost per session and equipment rental prices. Our friendly staff invites you to join for a game or two.

We require a minimum length of stay during the summer and over holidays.
We do not rent to anyone under 25 or to students

Guests receive a welcome kit with small dishwasher detergent, dish soap, sponge, a roll of paper towels, and laundry detergent. There will be an initial trash liner in each receptacle and a set of toilet paper and soaps for each bathroom provided. Guests will need to replenish supplies for longer stays.

Had a great time in Destin at this cottage!!

The cottage was clean and as described albeit the pics are wide angle and make it look bigger in the pics than in real life. Wasn't a deal killer as it was plenty of space for our needs. Nice touch having a small welcome packet with coffee and some of the basic essentials to,get you thru your first morning. Some of these places are barren upon arrival outside of one roll of TP. Only negatives for property was this cottage is at the front of the complex so the furthest from the beach access so bring or plan on buying a beach cart to haul your stuff. Not a far walk, about 10 minutes, but there are about 20-25 stairs to go down/up in order to get to beach to plan to have to hve help carrying your stuff up and down. If you have a lot of stuff then you probably have help;). Beach was gorgeous and having the chairs provided was a great addition considering their about $35 a day to rent. Vegetation outside the back porch was a little overgrown but we never went out that way so it wasn't an issue and provided more privacy, just a little unkempt looking but it is florida and things grow wild here. Beautiful property with lots of trees and vegetation. Only downside to location for us was it's 3.5 miles from the destin bridge area where all the action is. Not a big deal but with the construction plan on spending 20-25 minutes during peak drive time to get there. Since we went almost every day for some excursion it became a bit of a beating. BTW, the excursion discounts offered thru the management company was a great deal, use them for sure. We did at least 1 activity per day and it saved our family of 4 several hundred dollars!!. Overall a great time was had by all, cant wait to come back again!!

Thank you so much for taking the time to let us know about your great stay at Hidden Dunes Cottage 140. Because the property is over 27 acres there are units that are further away from the beach. We do try to let guests know about the Trolley that runs to the beach during peak season and holidays and you can also park in the Gulfside Condo parking lot if a space is available. Guests also opt to drive and drop off at the boardwalk if no spaces are available. Everyone will be happy when the road construction is complete on Highway 98 since it is the main artery in our area, but we are keeping our eyes on the prize and that is faster, smoother traffic when it is complete. Again, we are so happy that you enjoyed this very popular unit, the property, the Beach and our “Be Free Bundle”. We look forward to seeing you again at Hidden Dunes!

Wonderful Property, Close to Everything!

Our vacation was wonderful! We enjoyed the cottage and appreciated the short walk to the beach! We also visited the playground and basketball court during our stay. For those that are interested, this property also has tennis courts and lessons, multiple pools, and a lake. We were given an information packet with lots of helpful information about the beach, property rules and a map of the property. The property map was so very helpful. I also loved the fact that the tv was on and soft music welcomed us to our temporary home. We arrived after dark and it was nice to be able to see the space before we stepped in. The cottage looked exactly like it looks in the pictures, there were no surprises. It was cozy but everyone had space to themselves if needed. The furniture and beds were comfortable. We received a text on Day 2 to make sure everything was going well. Awesome service, so if I had any issues (which I didn't), I would have had the opportunity to have them resolved. I called the day of our departure to inform the staff of a housekeeping issue and the staff member who answered the call was very warm and helpful. THANK YOU to the team for making our vacation memorable and enjoyable. We strongly recommend this property. We had everything we needed and more!

GREAT TIME

This resort was awesome! The kids had a blast- Beds were extra comfy!! Everyone enjoyed their stay! We definitely will be back again to experience another family fun vacay! Thank you for making it feel so homey!!

Thank you for your recent stay at Hidden Dunes Cottage 140. We are very disappointed to read the rental was not what you expected. We are sorry for the confusion. The rental does sleep 7 people as the King, Double Bed, and Sleeper sofa can each sleep 2 guests and twin can sleep 1. We understand this property did not fit your needs. We would encourage you to view our 2 bedroom with loft options as they will allow for more bedding and space. We look forward to welcoming you back to experience one of the larger cottages.
