What more could you ask?

From the time you turn off Highway 98 into the Hidden Dunes Resort, you feel like you are on a Tropical Isle! The surroundings are so lush and green that you forget the concrete jungle you left behind. The grounds make you want to put on your shorts, kick off your shoes, and settle back in the sunshine.

As you enter your cottage, you realize that you do not have to live on coconuts and bananas to enjoy this tropical setting. You have everything you need for a group of eight to bask in the beauty that is Destin, Florida. The beach, the sun, sand, pools, tennis courts are waiting for you.

The living room area is comfortable to sit and relax, but you will definitely enjoy evenings at the patio table on the screened porch overlooking the lush, quiet foliage of the beautifully landscaped grounds. The nearby fountain will lull you to total relaxation. The window pass-through from the kitchen allows you to ask someone in the kitchen to hand you a snack or meal, that is, if anyone is in the kitchen instead of enjoying the porch with you.

If you enjoy cooking up a barbeque for the gang, the grill is just below the balcony and the kitchen has all of the dishes and utensils that you will need. Of course, there is a variety of restaurants within a couple of miles, so you only have to cook if you want. Whatever you eat in this relaxing setting, you have the choice of sitting on a barstool at the counter or communing at the large dining table. You can choose whatever you like, after all, this is YOUR vacation.

You will have three bedrooms and baths, one of which is a fun loft, where kids of all ages will enjoy the spiral staircase. The loft sleeps four in their own beds and has a full bath for convenience. The master bedroom has a king-sized bed and its own television, not to mention a private bath and sitting area. The second bedroom is tucked away for those needing some quiet time to read, watch television, or take a little nap.

Once you have enjoyed this wonderful vacation cottage, you will want to return often to get away from the stresses of your day-to-day life. YOU DESERVE IT!

This property was everything and more. It’s well equipped and met all our needs. Location is excellent and the complex family friendly. Great coffee shop up the road “Causeway Coffee” Close to the outlets and everything else we needed. I would highly recommend this property. Would LOVE to visit here again, only longer for sure.

Perfect Balance....Like Staying with Family

Communication was great and accurate. Felt nice and homey without me feeling on edge that one of my kids might break something. It was clean and open and included all the basic toiletries for the first day. Some of the kitchen items were broken or in need of replacing soon (can opener) but wasn't too much of an issue. We couldn't really figure out two out of the three televisions but we weren't there to watch TV. We loved the little lizards that would greet us outside each day. Location was so nice. Close to two pools and two hot tubs and a short safe walk to the beach. We lots of beach toys included and shared in the outside tub (shovels, pails, inflatables, flippers, chairs, umbrellas...).

We absolutely loved our time at Hidden Dunes. Everything that we wanted/needed was just minutes away. Everyone staying in the property and the employees were nice and friendly.We had one bad experience at the beach with a beach employee. He was very rude to me and my family.

Wonderful property with great amenities

We came for a wedding in Destin and were grateful to stay at this property. It was very central to everything and getting to the wedding activities in Destin. The pool and beach were a short walk away. Security was friendly and getting a golf cart when we had to take a bunch of stuff to the beach was easy. So glad we picked this place, which was also spacious with three bathrooms and a fully equipped kitchen

Perfect!!

This property had nearly everything we needed! The house was perfectly stocked…. And even had some beach towels and beach chairs left behind by other renters. We were super thankful for both! The location was outstanding and so quiet. The beach was a little walk, but totally doable. The beach……. Amazing!!!

Hidden Dunes is away from the bustle and so relaxing! Loved the unit.

We've stayed along the main "strip" of Miramar a few times in past years, and we just loved the quieter wooded setting of Hidden Dunes this time around. It's definitely a low-key neighborhood; super safe for families to walk around, go to the beach, swim, play tennis, etc. The walk to the beach was fine as long as we weren't carrying a ton of beach gear. The unit was clean and ready for us with plenty of towels. The screened porch is soothing with the sounds of the fountain. The loft was perfect for a few teenage girls, and the other bedrooms were spacious and comfortable. The bathrooms aren't very modern but they have everything you'll need and they were clean. The family room was large enough for everyone. We would visit here again!

Great place to stay for family getaway!

Great place for family

The condo was a great place to stay. The beach is a short walk and they provide a shuttle service (golf cart) if needed to take you. The two pools are close and great to cool off in the evening.

Felt like home! Cozy and clean

This condo was simply amazing! Very well stocked in the kitchen. The room in this unit was amazing. Ample sleep area. The kids loved having their own upstairs to themselves to play. The beach was a like walk but it was all flat and very easy. We walked it with 3 children ages 2,6,7 with no problem. My elderly father walked it as well with no trouble. But they also have a shuttle service (golf cart) you can call and they will drive you to the beach. My dad used it several times and it was funny because we always arrived at the beach at about the same time.. the pool was nice and was never crowded. We arrived early and the owner allowed us to drop our stuff off and leave until the unit was cleaned. Everyone was so nice! Check in was very easy and leaving the unit was very easy. We are already trying to decide our trip for next year so we can go ahead and rent this unit again! The couch was very comfortable. I slept on it for 3 nights. The unit feels cozy and home like! The balcony was amazing at night. It felt so good to sit out there and not get ate up by mosquitoes. I highly recommend this unit. WE LOVED IT!!

Great family oriented and clean

First time to Destin and a great experience. Hidden Dunes was very clean and family oriented. The owners were very helpful and friendly. Very short walk to the beach and staff was available with golfcarts to escort us to the beach. Condo had eveeything that we needed for our stay!

Perfect family vacation!

The Condo/Owner- the condo is in excellent condition...very well maintained and clean. The owner was very quick to reply to my messages and the only minor issue we found was fixed immediately. It was maybe a 5 minute walk to the beach...and that was with a 2 year old, 4 year old, and Mamaw. My kids enjoyed the beach toys provided by the host. I enjoyed the Keuirg and complimentary coffee. The Resort: Hidden Dunes Resort is very well maintained, clean and safe. I appreciated that it was quiet and not overcrowded. The two pools were the perfect temperature and had nice lounge chairs, tables w/umbrellas. The grills were clean and propane provided. The security guards, shuttle driver, and beach employees were all very friendly and helpful. The Beach- absolutely beautiful. Crystal clear water and white, clean sand. Busy, but not overcrowded. Looking far down the beach, the public beach access points were incredibly overcrowded, so we were thankful for the private beach. This really was a perfect vacation rental for my family. We wanted to stay somewhere on the quieter side with pool and beach access. Hidden Dunes exceeded our expectations! Thank you Marsha!

Not exactly what I was expecting.

We had a nice time despite the weather. I had a rather busy week and arrived later than check in only to realize at the guard house that I wasn’t given the door code information. Once that was worked out we proceeded to the condo and it’s located upstairs not on ground level as I assumed it was from the pictures. The porch is screened in so it worked out perfectly for the young grandkids. The tub in the master wasn’t clean and under the sofas hadn’t been vacuumed. Other than those few things it worked out well for our family. I personally enjoyed the short walk to the beach and there is a decent sized play set for little kids next to the basketball court.

Great property!

We love staying at Hidden Dunes. The property is very nice and well maintained. The property manager gave prompt communication. The bathrooms were overall clean, but have some wear overtime that make them appear dirty.

Nice and clean - definitely a hike to the beach

Very nice, large and roomy perfect for our family and my parents. Everything was super clean except the sofas (seriously doubt the owners realize this as the entire place was SPOTLESS). The owners were very nice checked in w us to make sure we were good. I read a review that the bedding was not comfortable so brought my own sheets however they did update the sheets and blankets which were fine mattressescould use upgrading but I get the impression they are upgradingas they can. They have every toy your child may need for the beach just be prepared to drive to the parking area if your toting that much and have small children. The outside deck was PERFECT for family meals.

40th anniversary family vacation

Great accommodations with beach themed decor. Each bedroom had a bathroom. 2 lovely pools that we used twice a day, picturesque short walk to the beach.

Wonderful hosts and property

We enjoyed our stay here. The hosts were wonderful and very responsive to any questions we had. The home is perfect! It had everything we needed and more! The location was the best! Just a short walk to one of the most beautiful beaches (we thought it was the best) in the area. The beach was not too busy. Definitely will stay here again if available!

This cottage is a dream come true for the older members of our family. Even though we're scattered from Beaumont, TX to Tallahassee, FL, to Cary, NC, we have a fun place to go for family times.

My sister was on a mission. After searching from one end of Destin to the other for a condo getaway for our family, she knew upon entering this complex that this was the perfect place. We've all agreed many times that she made a great choice.

O que faz essa propriedade ser única?

We all enjoy sitting on the screened patio for our morning coffee and relaxing visits with each other. We talk about what each of us wants to do that day and what time we will meet back for dinner. After dinner we usually play a board game around the big dining table or watch a movie on the large TV.
