Sitting less than a 10 minute walk from the beach & boardwalk, this condo is ideal for families or small groups looking for an Ocean City getaway. This modern, 2 Bedroom, 1 bath, 1st floor condo comes with all the essentials for an enjoyable vacation. The master bedroom offers a queen size bed, the 2nd bedroom has 2 single beds and a trundle, sleeping 3 comfortably. There is also a pullout sleeper sofa in the living room bringing the total available sleeping spots to 7. The Kitchen features a gas stove/oven, dishwasher and all other basic amenities for a home cooked meal. Cable TV and wireless internet are also included. On-site outside shower and washer/dryer combination. Gillian's Wonderland Pier and Asbury shopping district all within a 3 block walk!

The property was clean and in a nice neighborhood. Great coffee and ice cream shops were close by. It was bigger than expected, which we appreciated. Nice kitchen, large enough kitchen table for all of us to eat at, dishwasher and outside shower were a plus for us!!!

Nice long weekend

Place was nice, kitchen had everything, washer and dryer a plus, front porch was really nice to sit out on. The only problem was that the queen size bed could really use a new mattress. Other than that it was a nice place plus the price was great!

Family Celebration

We arrived with excellent communications from the host about getting in, timing and reminder to bring our own sheets and towels. The space was very clean and kitchen was modern. While bedrooms were small, the older home had all that we needed. Thank you!!

The house could have been a little cleaner, there was ants (which they did have traps for) and there was dishes from the previous stay in the drying rack. It is an older beach house so there is a musty smell, but that’s to be expected to an extent. The couch had stains on it and was very worn in. The location of the house was great however, and the ease of access was there.

Good location short walk to beach and more.

Host was nice enough to let us arrive early once place was cleaned. Parking was not bad and on the street. Beach tags would have been helpful but not a big deal.

Unfortunately newly installed door lock was non operable

Couldn’t enter property first night due to faulty door lock. Can’t pick your neighbors but their pick of controlled substances was marijuana for sure. House is nice and good location, owner helped remedy the door issue the next day.

Great location!

Great location as it is within a short walk to the beach, boardwalk, shops, and restaurants. Neighborhood was clean, felt safe and had parking in a reasonable distance. Stay could be improved by upgrading mattresses and including linens/towels. Host had quick reply to communications.

Fit the purpose

We were in Ocean City for a tournament. It was close to everything. Property has the minimum- which was ok because we were rarely there. Could use a deep cleaning, but was 'surface clean' and rooms had beds and met their need- nothing extra. This is a bottom floor so you will hear tenants upstairs. Back window is broken and there was not a hot tub.

Cute place

Overall the place was nice. I did a lot of meals at the house and the kitchen was adequately stocked. I only found out a day or 2 before the trip that there were no linens or towels. That would have been helpful to know in the listing. The amenities in general were pretty bare but ok if planned accordingly. It's just more things to pack in an already packed car. It was within a 3 block distance to the beach but the blocks were very long. Be prepared to do a lot of walking but the neighbor hoods and houses are beautiful! Decent for the price.

Disappointed

Got to the house for just a weekend stay. Someone had been sleeping in the bed. Sheets and comforter were on the bed but slept in. Mind you we were to bring our own towels and sheets. Shower and sink were dirty and someone left their dirty towel. Back door glass is broken. There was no trash can outside of the house to dispose of trash so we had to take the trash with us. I don’t like giving bad reviews but someone should have checked the house before guests arrived.

Ocean city stay

The overall place was clean and the check in process was very easy because there was a lock box. A down side was parking. Check in wasn’t until 4pm so trying to find street parking on ocean ave at that time was difficult so we had to double pack to unload our stuff. We had issues with the tv working and when we contacted the owner they instructed us to unplug it and wait 30 seconds to turn it back on. It eventually worked. There is a really nice restaurant and deli/bakery on the corner. The walk to the boardwalk was very easy. The rental included beach tags which was very nice! The beds were a tad uncomfortable but air condition worked great.

Dissatisfied

This is my first unhappy review with VRBO. On a positive note, Tom was very willing to communicate when I had questions. However, there were several dislikes regarding our stay. Gas grill was a portable propane tabletop grill which was only large enough to cook 2 burgers at a time. There were ants in the kitchen and living room despite there being ant traps in both. The bathroom was not vented. Some outlets were not usable. The door with the cleaning supplies and home repair tools was unlocked making it accessible to all guests. I will not stay here again. guests. I paid less to stay here butquesbooking.

Uncomfortable and unhygienic

We found it to be a little unhygienic. There were ants in the kitchen; on the counter, table and floor. The pillows were brown and flat like they have been in use for 20 years. The beds were not beds, but cots. And the bedspreads just felt dirty, so we washed them before using. There were also dirty dishes in the dishwasher when we got there. We did not bring any dishwasher pods so we just left them in there. There’s something that looked like it was Blood or dirt on the wall… Not really sure. And the couch was very, very worn in. Which meant there was no comfortable place to sit. None of the rooms had carpet in it… Which is fine, that is on me for not noticing that in the pictures. However, I would not recommend it for someone with children that like to sit on the floor and play. Two of the blinds in the kitchen were broken. All the dishes were also mismatched and just random things. Not real dish ware. There were holes in the blinds in the living room. The dryer must’ve been from 1970 and did not catch lint properly. All the air vents were extremely dirty. There were towels from previous guests hanging around. It seems like there was no cleanup after the previous stay. Which makes me wonder what my cleaning fee was all about?

Mini getaway

We rented for the weekend of the OC Half for a mini getaway as well. Weather may not have cooperated often but we had a pleasant time when inside as a family! The house was perfect for us when we had to be inside for longer than planned periods. Loved the close distance to everything and away from all popular areas to provide relaxing areas.

Enjoyed our stay in Ocean City

Living room, kitchen and bathroom are great in size. Both bedrooms are a little tight. I Scrubbed both living room and kitchen floors because my feet kept turning black. House is on a slant and bathroom door is hard to close. Thankful for ceiling fans in every room. Kitchen is fully equipped with everything needed.

We had a great time!

We had a great time! The rental was very clean, and we had plenty of space for my wife and myself and our 3 kids. It’s a few blocks away from the beach but nothing a wagon and a little planning can’t handle. It’s only a few blocks from the downtown area on Asbury with all the shops, very close to the local skatepark, and only a few blocks from the beach. The owner Tom was very nice, and easy to work with, I would recommend this place to anyone.

Be aware before you book!

This place had a lot of wonderful reviews online, which is why I booked this house to stay at with my husband, our 4 year old, and another couple with their 18 month old. It’s in a nice location with about a 1/2 mile walk to get to wonderland and surrounding attractions. The first floors foundation is entirely slanted, with our sons falling and tripping a majority of the time. The bathroom door would not close without heavy pushing, and the bedroom doors dragged on the floor. The place was “cleaned” before we got there, but then our feet turned black with debris walking from the living room to the kitchen. The washer and dryer is very loud, so do not use them when you have a sleeping baby next door in the bedroom. Overall, we feel the house was liveable.
