Southern Grace – Professionally Managed by Gulf Shores Vacation Rentals (GSVR)

Nestled along the sugar-white sands of West Beach in Gulf Shores, Alabama, Southern Grace is a beautiful and upscale beachfront home designed for comfort and relaxation. With 6 bedrooms and 5 full baths, this spacious retreat provides plenty of room for family and friends to gather and unwind. We hope you'll experience the same peace and tranquility we find on this stunning stretch of beach.

Spacious & Comfortable Accommodations
- 3 King bedrooms (one includes a daybed with a trundle)
- 3 Queen bedrooms, including:
* One room with two Queen beds (total of four Queen beds)
- 5 full bathrooms
- Sleeps up to 16 guests (maximum of 12 adults)

Please note: No rentals to groups under the age of 25. For Hangout Festival, a refundable cleaning/damage deposit is required to ensure the home is maintained as expected.

Rental Policies
- This property does not rent to groups under 25 or host bachelor/bachelorette parties.

Perfect Location

We thought the location & layout of the house were awesome! Steps to the beach & not crowded being far enough in between public access points. Walmart deliveries groceries so that was huge plus as well, we didn’t have to fight the traffic.

Simply the best

The house was so clean & smelled nice. We’ve never stayed at a house so well supplied in the kitchen. There were even beach toys, chairs, etc. All of the ladies agreed, it was the best house we’ve stayed at in the past 10 years.

Awesome Beach Experience

We had a great time! The property was perfect for our family! Everyone had a bed which was good because we were exhausted after being at the beach all day! Being able to watch the ocean from the property to relax a little was heaven! The property was clean and well stocked! Thank you so much!!

Sibling vacation

Very nice house with everything you need . Beautiful views of the ocean and beach was not crowded at all. A wooden walkway to to the beach would be nice it was a little bit of a work out carrying your chairs and umbrella through the thick sand. Not as young as we used to be 😊

Annual Girls Trip

We have been doing out annual trip for 15 years now and we all agree this was the best house we have stayed in. We had 13 ladies and we are very comfortable. Plenty of bedrooms and places to sleep without bunk beds! The 2 refrigerators was so nice to have on top of an ice maker. I think this is the first year we have not had to make multiple ice runs! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay!

Circle of Friends Sept 2023

Loved all of the space with 6 bedrooms. 2 washer/dryer sets & 2 frigs. Very nicely decorated and new condition. We sat a lot on the balcony outside the master for the view. September is a great time to be there with mostly adults out on the beach.

Great for large family vacations

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We stayed her last year and rebooked for next year. We like to quiet beach a lovely home. The kitchen is well stocked and we cooked 5 nights for 15. There is plenty of space for everyone. The beach supply room has tons of items. The main deck table and chairs are showing their age but it was the favorite spot for morning coffee and dolphin watching. We sat outside a lot! Enjoyed our stay so much.

Unwanted visitor

The house has a huge RAT, that was seen multiple times by family members . On our first night he (the rat) enjoyed a loaf of bread, cookies and a few day snacks . He needs to be attending to, trapped or shot but removed from the premises.

The pest control company was able to trap the big guy and sealed every possible entry point against future visitors. With exceptionally hot and dry weather critters were seeking shelter. This area is native habitat to an endangered mouse species so there is tremendous regulation around dealing with them.

Beautiful Beach Vacation

Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This was a much anticipated first beach vacation for our large family. This house on west beach Gulf Shores was a perfect match. Right on the beach with plenty of space to accommodate us. A generous kitchen and dining, well appointed and furnished living and bedroom spaces, and porches to capture the views of creation. Gulf Shores too was a great choice. On beach: first rate sand and surf for castles and cooling off. Off beach: close proximity to surf shops, ice cream and restaurants. Hangouts are close if desired and Mobile and Pensacola are quick drives if day trips are needed. The USS Alabama and Naval Aviation museums were great. Great beach. Great house. Great location.

A great house!

We all had a great time at the house. Perfect for all 15 of us! We had 7 kids and 8 adults total. The two fridges and two sets of washer and driers were fantastic. We never ran out of hot water. The house is very quiet so you don’t hear others in the house. Beach towels are not provided. There are a ton of beach toys available along with beach chairs. There is a children’s safety gate for stairs in the closet for those with kids. We ended up renting pack n plays and high chairs from a local company. The only reason it’s not getting 5 stars is because the management company does not email back about any of the questions I had. We thoroughly enjoyed our time and would book the same place in a heartbeat.

Great House but has Mice

Rating Details: The property manager was adequately helpful. The vacation rental was clean. I was more than happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This was a great house. Loved the location and the fact that most of the bedrooms have a bathroom.The floors and one of the beds was sandy on arrival.BUT, it had mice. They knew there were mice and didn't inform us. We told them the mice were getting our food - we called multiple times during our stay and nothing was done. But the most upsetting, was rat poison was left out where my 1 year old could have gotten it and we were not warned. DO NOT BOOK HERE IF YOU HAVE LITTLE KIDS

We are sorry that a mouse got in the house during your stay. When you called, we sent the pest control company to resolve it. They were turned away. Their treatments are not toxic to humans. Immediately after your departure they were able to capture it and have seen no trace of others. The house is routinely checked and has an annual pest control contract. 40 consecutive days of rain can cause creatures to seek shelter. Gulf Shores is native habitat for the Alabama Beach Mouse. On the rare occasion something happens, we are prepared to respond. The house does not have mice, or beyond that one, a history of mice. Poisonous products are not used in our homes. All of our homes have pest control contracts so if we know of any issues, we are able to immediately have someone out. Previously one mouse had been seen in the ground floor storage room where the beach chairs are kept. As a preventative measure one or more sticky traps were put out (they get stuck and die from dehydration--sad, but safe) but the dark/sheltered corners where those might be effective generally aren't areas where even an unsupervised 1 year old would go. That was not an indication that mice had previously been in the house.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We are repeat customers of Gulf Shores Vacation Rentals and Southern Grace. The location is ideal for our extended family and the bedroom and bathroom configuration of this unit is perfect for us. Beyond all of that, though, the customer service of GSVR is superb. With such frequent turnover of rental properties, it would be easy to just do the bare minimum, but GSVR goes well beyond that. The property is always spotlessly clean and, when we do have a rare maintenance issue, they are so efficient in their response and resolution of the problem. We come to Gulf Shores on a regular basis and will always look to rent through GSVR. They take good care of us!

Would definitely recommend to family and friends. Our only complaint is WiFi went out on Wednesday and was out remainder of our stay. Rental company sent someone out twice but they were unable to get it working. Communication with rental company was great and check in and out was easy. Will use Gulf Shores Rentals for our next trip.
