You will absolutely love staying at Blue Parrot #7, which is right on the beach in Gulf Shores, Alabama. Blue Parrot #7 appeared on the TV show "Island Life" (Season 4 Episode 9). This beautiful spacious gulf front 5 bedroom, 3 bathroom home sleeps 14 and is complete with everything you need to have a perfect beach vacation. The shared beach front swimming pool with comfortable lounge chairs is perfect for relaxing and playing (pool heater gas charge is $60/day extra). The two beautiful large decks provide uninterrupted breathtaking Gulf views of the sparkling waters and serene sugar white sand. The first level of the home offers a spacious and fully equipped kitchen. The lovely dining table seats eight and a cozy breakfast bar seats four. The large and open living area provides spectacular Gulf front views. (From the pool view, the unit is the right side of the duplex.)

As of January 2025, all furniture in the home is new except for the kitchen table. Also, all bathrooms have gone through full or partial renovations (new countertops, mirrors, faucets and light fixtures). [The exterior was painted from yellow to light turquoise. The video still needs to be updated.]

There are less than 50 houses in Gulf Shores where the pool is between the house and the ocean and this is one of them. The pool recently went through a major renovation (new concrete, fence, etc.).

The main level of the home features 2 bedrooms, a full bath, a kitchen, a dining area and a living room. The first bedroom on the main level has a king size bed and full size bath. The second bedroom on the main level is just off of the kitchen area and has two twin bunk beds. The second level of the home features 3 bedrooms. The master bedroom has a king size bed, a private bath and a private Gulf front deck. The middle bedroom has a queen size bed and the north bedroom has a king size bed and they share a full size bathroom between these two rooms. The layout and design of Blue Parrot #7 are perfect for comfort, privacy and entertaining. Located in the heart of Gulf Shores, only 1.8 miles from Highway 59, Blue Parrot #7 is a perfect beach house with all of the comforts and luxuries of home.

For technology lovers, the home has internet download speeds up to 1 GB and all 6 televisions are HD Smart TVs each with YouTube TV provided and access to Netflix, Amazon Prime, Hulu, etc.

The unit comes with bed linens (pillow cases, sheets and blankets) and bathroom linens (bath towels, hand towels, wash cloths, and bath mats). Beach towels are not provided. One roll of toilet paper is provided per bathroom. Wash cloths, dish towels, a roll of paper towels, a packet of dish washing detergent and a small bottle of dish washing liquid are provided for the kitchen.

The unit also has a very large ground level storage room we call the "toy room" (see picture). It is stocked with beach chairs, beach umbrellas, boogie boards, beach toys and pool toys for use by guests. This gives you more space in your vehicle during travel since you do not have to bring these items with you. You can also use this room to store your own things so you don't have to carry them inside the living space.

For those with air sensitivities, all the duct work in the attic was recently replaced and the 1st floor duct work was recently cleaned.

A gas grill is provided and the natural gas is provided as well.

We also own the Blue Parrot #8, the other side of this duplex.

The AC does not have a min/max block so you can cool the unit to your desired temperature.
