High Desert Paradise

Beautiful well appointed home. On line photos don’t do it justice. Very spacious and comfortable. Outdoors is a treat with grass, fruit trees and an abundance of serenity. Loved the location as it out of Taos but close enough to go to town. Highly recommended!

Perfect Taos Area Retreat!

This property is a perfect retreat - just a stone's throw from Arroyo Seco shopping and minutes from Taos. It's just enough away from the hustle and bustle that you can enjoy a quiet, peaceful retreat, but close enough that you're never too far from anything you may need. The home had everything ready to go - both for cooking in the kitchen, towels for the hot tub, and more. The space is easy to find and has perfect indoor and outdoor areas for six people to relax at. Would highly recommend to anyone looking for quiet space to stay outside of the ski valley.

Wedding Home away from Home

Beautiful and private property with loads of space with a charming and distinct feel from other parts of Taos. Quaint little town close by offered some shopping and excellent eating. Was easy to get anywhere we wanted--whether to downtown Taos, shopping for essentials, touring or visiting Taos ski area.

Beautiful, quiet place close to Taos and skiing.

Clean and comfortable property with enough solitude to relax in peace. The hot tub was glorious after long days in car and hiking. Close enough to Taos that many dining options, stores and museums were a short drive away. My only complaint, and it is minor one, is that there was no kindling to start a fire just logs.

Great spot

My family and I rented this property of our annual 4th of July reunion. Have rented several properties in this area. This is in the top 2 that we have ever rented. What a beautiful house! It was impeccably clean and easy instructions on how everything worked. And easy checkout process. The home is beautifully decorated and has a very open floor plan which we liked when having family there. The view from the front room is breathtaking. Big beautiful windows throughout the house made it very bright and inviting. After having a horrible experience last year with another listing in Arroyo Seco this was such a great surprise. We will definitely be back!

From our arrival to this beautiful adobe home, with its 2 perfectly matched red and green apple trees in the back yard, filled with ripe apples, and our walks out the front door to the El Salto waterfalls, or down to the ever charming village of Arroyo Seco, our entire stay was exceptional. This is a very well-maintained and tastefully decorated house in a very quiet area of Arroyo Seco. The kitchen is well-stocked and the property spotless, including the hot tub. The location halfway between Taos and the Ski Valley is excellent. My only recommendation would be a couple of screens on, say, the dining room and kitchen doors. There were too many insects to have otherwise enjoyed the cool evening breeze indoors.

Absolutely Perfect

We traveled for skiing, sledding and hiking. The location is perfectly situated between Taos Ski Valley and Taos, and you can even walk into town which we did several times to get groceries (great local options) and ice cream (at the Taos Cow) which was fun and provided a bonus activity. There was even a children's wagon in the garage which we used to pull the two smaller kids and hold groceries. The house is wonderfully laid out. We had two families with 4 adults and 4 kids and there was plenty of room for everyone to feel comfortable and enjoy themselves. The huge windows in the living room invite the outdoors in as you are always reminded that you are in the mountains. It's decorated beautifully with a warm and inviting feel. The kitchen table easily fit us all and was equipped with more chairs if we needed them. We cooked almost every night and the kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed, including kids plates, cups and utensils. The hot tub was clean and roomy with great instructions. We did not use the sauna so cannot comment there. The house does feel private even though there is a house to the back and side. They are spaced out enough to where you still feel like you have plenty of room - we let the kids play outside in the snow and it was the perfect amount of space to 'roam'. The wifi worked well, the washer and dryer were great and we used the glove warmers to dry wet gloves and boots on a regular basis - such a great bonus for all of us. I could continue to write more positives, but overall, we would definitely stay at Taos Haos again. It exceeded our expectations.

My son and I were in the area to fly fish and chose this beautiful property that was truly a well furnished and well maintained house. The setting among the trees and the hot tub evenings were quite relaxing. I definitely will stay there again.

Exquisite!

Wendy met us at the home and familiarized us with everything. She was very kind and professional and I LOVED her beautiful, sweet assistant. (She has the sweetest black lab to help her with her duties.) There were 8 of us, five adults and three children and it was a perfect match. They made us feel so welcomed and comfortable. The home is absolutely gorgeous and has a fully furnished kitchen so we stayed in one night and made dinner. There is plenty of room for 8 people and we never felt crowded at all. It has a wonderful laundry room with a fantastic full-sized washer/dryer and even detergent. This is very important when you are traveling with children. The only thing I was surprised they didn't provide was an iron and ironing board or shampoo/conditioner. (Still scratching my head on that one.) Those are no big deal though because everything else is great! I would definitely stay here again! Thank you for helping make our trip most memorable! Cheers!
