Barrier Dunes, our gated community, has 2 pools (1 is beach front & 1 heated 4 months of the year), lighted tennis courts, 3 fresh water fishing ponds, playground, boat parking, and pet stations, stone walks and green space throughout. The sugar white sand won't burn your feet, the sand dunes give the setting character, & the gentle gulf waves. The fishing is great, the crabbing & scalloping fun.

The activities abound! From boating, hiking, horseback riding on the beach, beach bonfires, spectacular sunsets (our beaches faces west) and tennis to impromptu socials with the friendly folks that visit Cape San Blas and Barrier Dunes..

Nestled up to the state park and surrounded by water, it is the perfect place for a nature lovers explorations. Boating, restaurants and other diversions are only minutes away, yet many of our guests never leave Barrier Dunes.

Play tennis, swim in the pools, sunbath on the beach while watching the ever-changing scenes, fish, crab, stir up a card game or read till your heart's content.

Pet lovers are overjoyed at being able to bring along Fido, especially those who like to make an extended stay with us.

We know what it is like not to have what you need when you're on vacation! We try & provide as many of these extras a possible so you are focused on your vacation, family & fun & not on the basics!
We encourage you to catch your own dinner of scallops, crabs or fish & bring along some marshmallows & enjoy more (& a glass of wine) around a beach bonfire or roast hot dogs for dinner!

My goal is to make your stay as good as it gets. To make room for the pooch in your car, we provide every basic essential we can think of (see details on site), but we don't stop there. Imagine a kitchen that is stocked w/spices, crock pot, & crab pot.

Picture yourself not having to pack the car with beach chairs, the boogie board, & beach toys. If you're bringing a younger beach goer...No need to pack the pack and play or high chair! Enjoy a grill on the gulf view deck. Relax to DVD, & games.
