My family loved our stay at Cape San Blas! Great place to stay with an amazing view and short walk to the beach. Lots of what you need for your beach vacation on property. Great host as well!

Great location

Beautiful and direct access to beach. We loved watching the sunset off of the deck each night. House was very well equipped. Would definitely come back.

Christmas at the Beach

We had a great time at Walking on Sunshine. Location was perfect with 2 balconies overlooking the beach. We brought our Golden Retriever. If you have any fur kids, Cape San Blas is the place to vacation. We'll be back.

Family Vacation with Son and Daughter in Law

Walking on Sunshine did not disappoint. It was great as usual, even with Hurricane Debby close by. We had a great time. Devi Leonard was very attentive as usual. You cannot beat the location and sunsets! Our labradors loved it also. We cannot wait to revisit next year.

Everything You Need

We were very happy with our recent stay at Cape San Blas and this property is great. Terrific views that make you feel you're right on the beach. It was nice to be in a property that was stocked with everything you need from laundry soap to cooking spices to paper products. Communication throughout the whole process exceeded expectations!

Beautiful and peaceful

We stayed end of Oct. The weather was perfect! This is a beautiful and relaxing vacation. This condo is so lovely and comfortable. The gulf being right at your door with stunning view from both balconies. Enjoyed some hikes in nearby St. Joseph's State Park. Several good restaurants on the Cape with great fresh seafood. Also loved visiting Port St. Joe. I keep coming back to this beautiful place and will continue to do so.

Top Notch! Another Wonderful Stay!

Thanks so much for allowing us to enjoy a repeat visit to the cape! As always the house was very well stocked. No need to bring anything except food and clothing. Even for the dog! We loved being so close to the beach and I love that it was always very clean! Everyone really seems to take care in picking up after themselves. The water was amazing as always and we had wonderful weather all week long! The guys took a fishing charter this year and really enjoyed it! My niece even caught a shark! We visited the park this year and went snorkeling in the bay. My son really enjoyed it and we were excited to see all of the fish and wildlife! Although I must admit I was slightly terrified. There were some things we found that I had no idea what they were. Haha! But my little boy had a great time catching crabs and looking for different sea shells. We had dinner at the sand bucket one night which was delicious! Their bbq nachos were super! As always the house was super clean and we had a wonderful time relaxing and watching old movies. And we look forward to visiting Barrier Dunes again in the future! Everything was top notch and we have no complaints! Thanks again for another wonderful stay!

This condo is clean, comfortable, and right on the beach! We loved watching the dolphins!

We truly enjoyed ourselves at the Cape. What a beautiful place. The condo was gorgeous and very accommodating. Very convenient access to the beach with million dollar views! The sunsets were some of the prettiest I’ve ever seen! The dogs really enjoyed the beach. It was a new experience for them. It was great fun to watch them. All the people we met were very nice and friendly. We even went horseback riding on the beach with Broke a Toe and they were great to work with. Thank you for helping make our trip as enjoyable as possible. I am more than happy to serve as a reference if you ever need one. I’m sure we’ll be making trips back to the Cape and back to Walking on Sunshine!. I just can't say enough great things about this vacation spot!

"Walking on Sunshine"

"Walking on Sunshine" is a great place to spend time with family and pets. We enjoyed having so many amenities and the condo was decorated very nicely with lots of extras. We especially enjoyed our time on the deck. Sunsets were incredible and the beach is right there. Barrier Dunes is a great place for pets. We met so many nice people and our dog Freddie loved meeting all the other dogs when on his walks. We highly recommend "Walking on Sunshine" for everyone, especially with the great service you will receive from Wendy. She's the best! "

Wonderful Thanksgiving Week...Everything was just perfect

We booked our trip in late September with Wendy. It was super easy and she responded to all of my emails very quickly. My husband and I brought our two dogs, from Texas. Tired from the long journey, it was so nice to come into the condo and have everything just perfect. All of the little things you don’t think about when going on a trip. Wendy had them ready for us. From tissue paper to beach chairs they were there. Even extra bowls and toys for the dogs!!! We had the perfect relaxing vacation. No rushing around..waking up to the view and sounds of the ocean. It just lowers the blood pressure. Great views Balconies are large and there are tables and chairs to relax on. Every kitchen item you can think of! Spices, dish soap, paper towels.. you name it.. it was there King size bed was super comfortable Books and games were so much fun too! Internet was fast and extremely useful. As warned, we had no cell service most of the time we were there. (not a bad thing on vacation). There are landlines to use if needed. Cable was good and we were able to watch the football games. Had a tiny issue with the kitchen faucet and Wendy had someone there to fix it the next morning. Thanks Wendy! This was dog’s first time to the ocean and they had a ball. They loved to chase the ‘beach chickens’ and play in the water. Stock up at the Piggly Wiggly! Eat at Coneheads!! I give The Cape Escape and Cape San Blas a Five Star Rating and we look forward to coming again very soon. We didn’t want to leave.

Beautifully Funished, Great Service. Walking on Sunshine was a blessing!

Our stay in Walking on Sunshine was such a blessing for my family. The condo was furnished beautifully and the kitchen was very well stocked. Our four legged babies loved digging in the sand and the beach was terrific!!! Thanks so much for the great service. We will be returning!

Everyone should know what a great place the Cape is and especially Walking on Sunshine

Thank you so much for being so accommodating! The Cape was great and Walking on Sunshine was amazing! The only thing we regret about our stay is that it was too short! We loved that we were able to bring our dog. She had a blast hanging out on the beach with us all day. After such a positive experience, we think we will make this our new family vacation spot! Had a Great Time! We will certainly be back!

We had a great time. Bear (our Golden Retriever) may have had the most fun of all. He really loves the water. We had one rainy day while we were there but were able to get a lot of time on the beach. Thanks so much! We’ll certainly book again

Prettiest Views of the Beach EVER!

We loved the Cape . . . . it was our first trip to that area, and hopefully not our last. Next time, we’ll keep our fingers crossed for better weather!! There was plenty to do inside, so even with the rain, we enjoyed just unwinding and catching up on reading, and even a board game or two. We still had some wonderful walks on the beach . . . . and Kenzie (choc. Lab.) was so funny trying to figure out the sand and the waves!! She loved it too 😊 Your condo was perfect!! One of the prettiest views of the beach EVER, and the sunsets were amazing. We’ll stay in touch, and hopefully, plan another trip for next year.

Clean & Well Maintained. Beautiful with GREAT Beach Access!

Ann and I loved the home and the whole area where it is located. The towns are charming and unique. We really enjoyed Apalachicola! The shops were interesting and the beer at the Oyster City Brew Company was fabulous! We also enjoyed Ann's birthday dinner at Triple Tails in Port Saint Joe. The food was great, the service was spectacular. The dogs were welcome on their porch, so the whole family enjoyed the celebration. The home was clean and very well maintained. I appreciated the cleanliness of it. I've stayed in places like in the past in other areas and have been disappointed by the place being dirty. That was not the case at the Cape Escape. The beach was beautiful and easily accessed from the home. We went every day and just hung out. We have no issues other than getting the beach umbrella to stand upright in the sand. It took us a couple of tries to get the hang of it! Thank you for the wonderful home away from home that you provided for us!

Wonderful Time, Sold on Cape San Blas...We Will Be Back!

We had an absolutely wonderful time! The condo was exactly what we needed, very clean and so well equipped! We quickly realized all we needed were food and drink and we didn't have to go anywhere to do anything and that's exactly what we did. Our lazy days consisted of coffee on the first floor deck; eventually wandering down to the beach to walk, watch dolphins play and stare at the sparkling water; coming in for cocktails and cooking dinner; then watching the stars and the gulf from the second floor deck. I'm fairly certain I could do that same routine about a hundred more times before tiring of it! And to prove it... Two of us were doing this as sort of a "test trip" to decide if we wanted to move the location of an annual girls trip that has been taking place for the last TWENTY SEVEN years! We started out at Seaside when it was a deserted beach, and moved to Seagrove when Seaside became ridiculously expensive. And now... That whole area is just way too busy for us! We heard about Cape San Blas and decided to cautiously think about trying it out and moving our annual trip. We are sold!

Perfection!!

This was our 3rd time at the cape & was the best ever. The unit was very clean, well maintained, & perfectly decorated. The kids loved the loft! The view was perfect for watching those amazing sunsets. The beach was, as always, great. Lots of shells to collect & not overly crowded. We love the cape because our dog is welcome, it isn't commercialized, we can build a fire on the beach, and everyone is so nice. We always feel welcome. I highly recommend a horseback ride on the beach. And bring bikes if you have them...it's very bike friendly as well. Wendy will make sure your stay is perfect. She & her staff go above & beyond for their guests! If you're looking for a quiet family-oriented relaxing beach experience...look no further! Stop searching & contact Wendy right now!!!

Fantastic

We really enjoyed our stay at the Cape, this was a great vacation spot for our family. Wendy is an excellent host and the accommodations were perfect for us. The unit was clean, very well-maintained and right on the beach. The big TV downstairs was nice to have during the college bowl games and the teenagers loved the privacy of their loft. This is a wonderful place for relaxing and truly getting away from it all.
