Unlike most of the comparable homes in our area, we are not a property management company & we operate legally. Every personal touch, local suggestion, item in your welcome basket, extra towel, flexible check-in/out accommodation, passed along beverage, & pantry item is because we care about you having an AUTHENTIC Austin experience and we are HUMANS with empathy, compassion, and excellent taste.

High-end Bachelor/Bachelorette groups are welcome if every member of your group fully agrees to our ethos of total respect for our home & making zero to no impact on our neighbors. This is NOT the house to book for a binge-drinking getaway. THIS IS A MUST. We will give you equal respect and more.

Enjoy the thoughtful, personal touches of our family home, including a well-stocked kitchen, 1929 Steinway grand, iconic art, & a gathering space we have intentionally created as a regular gathering place for our own beloved creative community.

Sarah is a multiple Austin Music Award-winning singer and songwriter. She is happy to help you book local musicians to play a private living room concert. We personally host local legends regularly.

Our home is solar-powered w/ 13KW backup battery to buy time if the grid is down.

Awesome weekend

Our extended family was in Austin for a wedding and had a great weekend. The house had everything we needed and was very comfortable for 11 of us. We spent most of our time around the pool. Sarah was great to work with. We highly recommend the house

Girls Trip - Relaxing Getaway

We greatly enjoyed our stay at this property! Was close and convenient to many activities in Austin, but also in a quiet neighborhood that allowed us to enjoy and relax in the home. The kitchen was spacious and well stocked, an there was plenty of room for our party of 10 with comfortable sleeping arrangements. We also enjoyed the nearby walking/running trails around Lady Bird Lake. Sarah was very responsive to anything we needed!

Sarah was simply fantastic. She was very responsive and communicative, making sure that our group had everything that would make our stay special. I’ve already recommended this home to all my friends and coworkers. Highly recommended for a group trip to Austin!

Fantastic home and host!

We could not have been happier with our stay in Austin! Sarah was nice enough to let us know as soon as the house was ready! She was even lugging in the groceries that I had ordered ahead of time, with her recommendation! The house was spacious, clean and comfortable! It was so well stocked! Sarah thought of everything we could possibly need during our stay! She even left us a welcome basket with snacks! It was very easy to grab an Uber but also walkable to the hot spots. My husband and I took a walk in the morning along the river. There is a beautiful jogging trail along the water lined with interesting trees! The new plunge pool was such a great place to hang out before we hit the strip! I would highly recommend Sarah and her beautiful home!

Long-time Austin musician & 6th generation Texan in love w/ a former UT swim captain/builder who is continually updating & improving our home.

My band plays the early show at Elephant Room every Thursday. Jazz, Americana + Singer/Songwriter, in the vein of Norah Jones.

We care about creating a space that is peaceful, inviting, & inspiring for our guests and our own family and community. Our friends and creative community tends to gather here .We also care deeply about our guests being VERY considerate of our neighbors.

Location, location, location. I am an enthusiastic local guide, especially for live music, as I've been a member of the music community for many years. Our block is a dead end, surrounded by the park and the lake. very quiet at night. The trial out front is a 10-mile loop. Between our house and the lake is only park land with baseball fields. In the winter when the trees are bare, we have panoramic views of the water.

The neighborhood overflows with exciting new foodie restaurants, bars, and some of the best food trailers in Austin. Walk 1 mile to the Rainey Street district.

This is a very spacious family home with a lot of love and good energy. You'll know we live there, but not be overwhelmed by clutter or our belongings. High quality kitchen items.

Pool kept at 85 degrees, but we can heat it to 100 for a small fee. It's glorious. You'll sleep like a baby.

O que faz essa propriedade ser única?

My front porch swing is my spiritual center. I love to listen to the countless species of birds announce themselves one by one as they wake up in the morning and to watch runners, cyclists, etc. go by on the trail from the swing. There is a lovely evening breeze off the lake most nights and excellent shade from the Pecan tree.

The front house and back apartment are available to rent individually, but larger groups love to have this option of this combination of the two. Together, but separate.

Kids, will love the playroom, x box, spiderweb swing and porch swing.

Time Out recently published a list of the 50 coolest neighborhoods IN THE WORLD and they put us - Holly, Austin as #24.

Getting around is easy. We are a very inexpensive Uber, Lyft to downtown, SOCO, Barton Springs, etc. There are plenty of scooters and bikes to rent in our neighborhood as well.
