Amazing Grace -

Prepare to be impressed by ā€œamazingā€ amenities along with the ā€œgraceā€ of wonderful hospitality in this lovely vacation home. Amazing Grace is a cheerful three bedroom residence located in Destiny West, which happens to be one of the most beautiful prestigious neighborhoods that borders the emerald toned glistening gulf waters in Destin, which are only a 3 minute walk away.

The palm lined entrance of this vacation rental home leads into a bright main living area on the first floor. On one side of this expansive great room is a comfortable ensemble of plush furnishings that is centered on a wall mounted TV. A blue and white striped rug provides a chic accent while decorative art creates a charming nautical theme. The cream colored cabinetry in the light open kitchen includes an angled counter bar with four raised seats. Savory seafood appetizers and favorite drinks may be easily served here. A formal dining table has six elegant seats in a sunny alcove beneath a classic chandelier.

The spacious Master Bedroom has a private bath en suite with a soaking tub, a separate glassed in shower and duel vanity sinks. A big king size bed features a carved spindled headboard. A flat screen TV provides evening entertainment and a glass door leads out to a breezy balcony with a romantic table for two. One of the Guest Bedrooms has its own king size bed, another TV and full bath. The third bedroom is a perfect place for kids since it has double bunk in addition to a twin bunk with a twin trundle and access to another full bathroom.

This Destiny West location offers the beautiful beach and fabulous amenities including the use of a seasonally heated tropical neighborhood pool that is just steps way from the home. Here you will also find a fitness center, basketball court, and lighted tennis courts. This locale is also near popular beachfront restaurants and friendly bars like The Crab Trap, which is within walking distance. The best of Destin is all with in reach including wonderful watersports, deep sea fishing, upscale shopping, and top attractions like Big Kahunas water park.

First Floor: Living Room, Dining, Kitchen, King Bedroom with Shared Hall Bath with Walk-In Shower, Wet Bar, Laundry.

Second Floor: King Master Suite with Walk-In Shower and Garden Tub, Bunk Room with Twin Bunk + Twin Trundle and Double Bunk with Tub/Shower Combo.

*Add $50.00 per day to heat private pool (available Oct-April if needed)

*Based on the daily temperature and at the HOA's discretion, the community pool is typically heated during spring break.

The house location was perfect with a short walk to the beach. Loved the layout, pool and kitchen was stocked with everything needed. We had a few minor issues initially but was quickly resolved with property management. Would definitely use this home again!

This property was just as described. It had plenty of room for our family of 4 to be comfortable. The property really is within walking distance to the beach access at Crab Trap restaurant (good thing since the parking lot was always full) We had a great time and would recommend this property.

Great place to stay!

The place was everything I expected. The house was close to destin commons and not too far from the downtown restaurants of harbor walk. The beach was a close walk and conveniently next to a public beach access with rentals. The house came with everything i needed for the kitchen/bathroom/laundry. I would recommend this place to anyone!

Great Stay

Very close to the beach and pool. Quiet neighborhood. The house needs a deep cleaning and some maintenance like the floor, ice maker machine, air filters changed, outside area cleaned, under couches and other areas cleaned maybe more sand toys and board games for the young ones. Other than that we will stay here again. The house is very spacious and has everything you need to enjoy a relaxing vacation. I would recommended this place. The walk to the beach takes about 5 minutes. We had a great time! Management was great and prompt!

Beautiful home, great amenities!

We really enjoyed our stay at Amazing Grace. House was beautiful with lots of space, amenities were great and the management team was very responsive. We had an issue with water leaking on Easter Sunday, of all days to have to contact someone :/ But they came right out and fixed the issue. Community is very nice and private but close to everything. We walked to the beach every day. Thank you for sharing your home!

Loved every minute of our vacation!

We had an absolutely great time in your rental! Weā€™ve stayed in two other VRBO rentals so far, but have never had more fun or been more comfortable than this year. The house was clean and tastefully decorated and the beds were awesome - never slept so good! We spent every day at the beach, which was a short walk, but also loved being able to use the private pool that was quiet and never overcrowded. The kitchen had everything we needed for cooking and grilling, when we werenā€™t exploring Destin restaurants. Our kids also enjoyed the basketball/tennis courts. Many memories that will last a lifetime! Weā€™ll definitely recommend your rental and canā€™t wait to get back to the ā€œsalt life!ā€

Amazing Grace Home - Perfect Destin Beach Vacation

Our family wanted a quick easy get-away with the comforts of home but the pleasures of beautiful Destin. This location of the Amazing Grace home is the ideal location. Upon arrival, we could not believe how comfortable our family of six was going to be! The home is clean, adorably decorated and more than the comforts of home. We grabbed our chairs and WALKED to the beach right across the street! If we felt like using the pool, you literally stumble out the front door and enjoy the private pool! I could not believe the amenities this home provided. Plus, you can walk right across the street to eat or enjoy a cocktail. We did so every day of our stay! The restaurants in walking distance were exactly what we wanted - seafood, beautiful ocean views and cocktails! We will definitely be back to our new favorite location! Thank you so much for sharing your home! A++++++

Highly Recommended

This home really is amazing. Our group had four adults and five children and we all fit very comfortably. The home felt much larger than the pictures made it seem. The living area downstairs is perfect with tons of seating and a big screen TV. The home is in a gated community very close to the pool, tennis court, and gym. The pool never had more than three or four families in it at a time, so it was never too crowded. The walk to the beach took about 5 minutes with little children and felt like a very safe walk the entire way. You only cross one real road outside of the gated community and drivers seemed very aware at the crosswalks. The beach wasn't too crowded, especially considering we were in Destin during a holiday week. If you're looking for a 'staycation' in Destin this is a great spot. We spent the week mostly at the beach, the neighborhood pool, or in this home.

Beautiful, spacious home in gorgeous gated community. The pictures didn't do the home justice. Great location! Immediate proximity to the pool and basketball court. And just a short walk to the beach. Home was well equipped with appliances, including a washer and dryer. We also appreciated the ice maker and wet bar. Spacious bedrooms with comfortable beds. There were 3 bikes available for riding that were a hit with our kids. Televisions in every bedroom and a large television in the living room, with Netflix. Covered back porch with access to gas grill. Reasonable pricing, especially when you consider location. Personally, my favorite spot in the house was the "reading deck" that walks out from one of the upstairs bedrooms. My only recommendation would be to bring along a fan for the "kids" bedroom. It did get a little stuffy in there (only room with no ceiling fan). Check in and check out were seamless. We enjoyed our stay at Amazing Grace and hope to return again in the near future. Thanks for having us!!!

Great but needs some attention

This home was nice. We had stayed in the neighborhood before, loved playing basketball and tennis. I picked this house because the sofa looked comfortable but as soon as I sat down, I sank! I did find the other chairs in the living area just fine. I moved 2 stoles from the dinning room and used one for my feet and one as a table. I highly recommend side tables for you 2 chairs. We slept in the master bedroom upstairs. The bed is terrible. If you have back issues, this is not the bed for you (same reason the couch didn't work for me). The shower could use a shower caddy of some sorts even if it is one that sits on the shower head. Our favorite thing was the ice machine - I drink a lot of water and it made great margarita's! We did have the tiny ants around the ice maker the first night but then they were gone. The patio furniture could be updated and is not very inviting, needs a good cleaning. The laundry room light came on when it wanted. Once we got it on we left it on. We were very disappointed when we came home one day to the bikes being moved around in the garage, telling us someone had been in there. We had been parking in there and the bikes where in the way. I called the management company and they said that yes, there was appointment for someone to come out. We were never told anything and felt someone uncomfortable when someone coming in the house. I heads up would have been great! We didn't use the bikes but we did use 2 beach chairs. We were there that week looking for a rental to purchase which we did fine. Now we plan to make sure our rental meets up to everything I want in a rental, including an ice machine.

Great Stay but a few basic things missing

We had a great overall stay. The location and house were great. There was some beach stuff to use and lots of space. Only a few negatives. The dish washer and stove not working correctly sometimes. Plus, some basic things missing, such as: batteries in remotes, back door not having a proper way to lock so we had to shove a broom next to it so no one could open it, and the grill outside had no propane in the propane tank so we had to replace it. Also, there was no salt and pepper or coffee filters. I understand not wanting to provide all of these things for a whole groupā€™s stay but a few just to start your stay off with would be nice. Oh, the WiFi is in a bad location and should be in a more central part of the house. The reception in the upstair master bedroom was poor because the router is on the other side of the house. I might be being a bit nit-picky but itā€™s the details that matter. All and all, it was a great stay, just some little things could use improvement.
