Welcome to Sunny Disposition! Our lakefront home sits on 1.5 acres at the end of a quiet cove in a highly desirable area of the lake, with three marinas (Twin Cove, Mountain Lake, and Norris Dam) just a short boat ride away. Being in a cove, the water is smooth as glass, making it the perfect location to swim and relax without worrying about boat traffic. It's like having your own 1-acre swimming pool! The TVA owns the land on the opposite side of the cove, contributing to the quietness and privacy of our home.

Sunny Disposition is a 2400 SF home with an open floor plan. Wifi is now available. Four bedrooms and a bunk room provide enough beds for 15 people, and the three full bathrooms and one half bath assure privacy for everyone. Two separate living areas provide plenty of seating for everyone.

The first floor includes a fully stocked kitchen, dining area and living room. Vaulted ceilings make the rooms airy and spacious. Four French doors open up to the deck, which includes a gazebo with lots of outdoor furniture. Also on this deck is a dining table that seats six and a gas grill.

Two master bedrooms with newly remodeled private baths are also located on the first floor. Each bedroom has a king bed, and one of the bedrooms has a twin bed with a trundle, making it perfect for a family with small children. A half bath is also included on this floor.

Downstairs is another two bedrooms, each with a queen bed. There is a full bath between the two bedrooms. The 400 SF bunk room has two sets of twin beds and a comfy sectional. TV, air hockey, and lots of family friendly games are available on this level. This is a great area for the kids to call their own. There is also a large deck off this area that is under cover in case of a rainy day. Lots of seating is also available on this deck.

The outdoor living space is perfect for the lake. We have almost 2000 SF of deck space, several of the areas being under cover. New steps and two new decks were added in 2016, making the walk to the water a breeze. One of the new decks is right at the water’s edge. Outdoor furniture and an offset umbrella make this deck a perfect place to sit in the shade and watch the kids play in the water. The steps leading to the lake are winding, wide, and beautifully lit. The private dock easily accommodates 3 boats. Two paddle boards and two kayaks are also provided for your enjoyment.

Amenities outside also include a covered front porch with a gas grill, a double entrance asphalt driveway with plenty of room for parking and maneuvering your vehicles, and a fire pit for use at the end of a great day on the lake.

There is a nicely maintained, free boat ramp approximately two miles away by land and one mile by boat. The roads leading to Sunny Disposition are easily navigated. The trip into town to stock up with supplies is close, about 6 miles/15 minutes.
