Lovely house in a nice quiet area close to good facilities. Was exactly as described. The garden is an oasis of calm. Such a nice place to spend time in both during the day and through the evening as it comes to life with colour and lights.

Cali vacation

We had a great stay as a family of 6. The house had everything we needed to keep us comfortable on our vacation. Dan was super helpful with anything we needed. We swam in the gorgeous pool, slept great in the cozy beds, and felt very much at home!

Another excellent stay, six years after we last enjoyed this property

House is well equipped, with plenty of indoor and outdoor space. The games room and pool make for a fun and relaxing stay. Great for location. Nice local walks and nearby shops and restaurants. Dan was an excellent host and communicated well. We would highly recommend and stay again. .

Great place to stay!

My family and I visited Southern California for the first time for a one-week vacation in late June. The house is in a cute neighborhood with lots of walking paths and is about half-way between Los Angelos and San Diego, so a great location to pretty much everything, including beaches and amusement parks. My favorite feature by far was the back yard, which is a paradise of its own! Pool, spa, waterfall, fire pit, lush landscaping and outdoor seating...! What more could you ask for? Easy check-in/out process and the host was very receptive and accessible. I would highly reccomend staying here!

Family in SoCal

Dan is a very thoughtful host. The house was perfect for the 8 of us. My wife, sons and their girlfriends enjoyed our stay. We swam in the pool, soaked in the hot tub, played pool, made great meals. It was a great home for us.

Every need fulfilled for a week and then some!

We couldn't have hoped for a better place than Dan's! The communication was great, the location quiet and safe, and the house was amazing! The house layout worked very well for our family of eight people with bedrooms on the second floor. The main level was great for lots of different activities and well connected to the kitchen. AND the bonus pool and hot tub (thanks to the great weather) was put to use every day of our week stay. Dan was so welcoming and great to respond to a few things. All in all, we had a wonderful holiday celebration together thanks to the lovely accommodations and host.

Mermaid House

The house and yard were beautiful and loved all the Mermaid accents. We were there for my daughter's wedding and she loves mermaids so I think the house brought us good luck on our fabulous day. Layout of the house was fabulous. Loved the pool, spa and pool table!

Perfect Home Away From Home

Dan has a wonderful home, equipped with everything we needed to have an enjoyable stay in California. Having the pool was a great addition and added to our enjoyment of the property. Would recommend this property to anyone heading to that area of CA.

Excellent!

Dan was very thorough in the property walk through and it was clear that he had given thoughts to some of the little things that make it easier for guests. The house was fantastic and the pool absolutely lived up the pictures! Excellent.

Super fun backyard

The backyard was amazing! Very relaxing with heated pool, jacuzzi, and fire pit. The interior is older style but well kept. My only complaint was there we’re not very many bath towels and they were kind of scratchy. All in all it was an amazing rental

Beyond Perfect

This is probably the best renting experience we have ever had. It was spacious, well equipped, and as advertised. Perfect location to many things. The hosts were fantastic and super responsive. My kids are already asking when we can go back. Would love to rent again.

Just bring your swimsuit

This property had everything we needed. Our family of 6 had plenty of space but we really appreciated how well equipped the house is.......from an abundance of towels to the coffee grinder. The outdoor space with pool, spa and barbeque was perfect for enjoying time with family and friends.

Paradise in Lake Forest

Excellent value, great location and very cozy/comfortable home. Dan and Marva (hosts) were fantastic to work with. Upon check-in, Dan walked us through the ins/outs of the house, pool and amenities within 30 mins. I searched several beach locations and they were twice as much with half the amenities. You're a short 30 mins from Disney, Anaheim stadium, Laguna, New Port beach, and several restaurant, grocery stores and other shopping locations are within 5-10 mins away. It's located in a great neighborhood, a walking trail is just outside the front door, we even hit the gym every morning. Unlike the other locations I considered, this house is in a quiet location, off the beaten path yet close enough if you need to make a quick trip for coffee creamer. The beds are extremely comfortable and with the garage doors open during the day/evening, the breeze and fresh air is awesome. I know this is trivial to some but it was great to get our laundry done prior to leaving. We used the grill so we didn't need to eat out every night. We stocked up on groceries and felt right at home from day one. If you're thinking this home is too isolated from key attractions, don't let the map fool you...it's secluded yet very close to everything you need or want. We'll definitely make this home our go to when visiting family going forward. Oh, and did I mention the hosts are good people too!

Awesome CA retreat!

We have nothing but good things to say about our stay. Dan and Marva are lovely hosts - the check-in process was fast & easy, the house was exactly as presented online. Our family spent most of our time in the outside space - the pool is great, there is plenty of seating for playing games or just supervising kids in the pool. We really enjoyed our stay!

Fantastic Home...Everything We Needed for the Perfect Family Vacation!

This house was perfect for our family. They had all of the amenities we were looking for! The pool and hot tub were fabulous! The grandkids spent as many hours in it as they could. They also loved the pool table (even though none were very good at it) they got lots of practice! The adults enjoyed the built-in bar, dishwasher, and washer/dryer. When actually went home with clean clothes in our bags! The house was convenient to local shopping and a few restaurants were nearby. We would definitely stay here again. Thanks, Dave and Marva for sharing your home with us!

Wonderful Experience

Our family and friends stayed at this beautiful property for a week. We had everything we needed for grilling next to pool, shooting a game of pool, a cooler, towels and boogie board for the beach, everything we could need. We were met by the homeowners who walked us through the property and how to manage the pool and spa. They were very nice and responded to messages right away. The pool was the perfect temperature and the hot tub heated up fast! The pool was amazing! Seats around the edges, deeper in the middle and shallow for the kids on the sides. We practically lived on the pool. The house is a little older but well maintained and so clean. The beds and couches were very comfortable. We used the path next to the house and all of the neighbors were so nice. This is a quiet neighborhood, no traffic noise. Close to a grocery store, coffee stand and great donut shop. We will absolutely be staying here again the next time we are in California.

Great house, great location

We had a great week long stay with our 2 kids under 6. The house was clean, the owners met us wearing masks, they had a helpful binder of tips to run the pool ✓ in/out and the house is full of what you need (towels, kitchen supplies). There were 2 parks in the neighborhood and the bike trail was easily accessible. We plan to stay again on our next trip to Cali.

Excellent Stay

This is a happening spot for a family or even a bachelor. Great space layout, super well designed backyard and a fantastic in/out living space. Easy to get to, close to supermarkets, close to restaurants, and completely worth it.

Great spot to enjoy Soutgern California

As I always start out my reviews...I would stay here again if looking for a home sleeping 10 people. The pictures on the site are reflective of the property. The property is dated but well maintained. The money feature is the pool and backyard which is gorgeous. Parking in the driveway easily accommodates two vehicles. I had a F150 Crew Cab which fit. The house was nicely decorated. Since we had two four year olds with us we had to pickup several items to place them out of harms way. Other than that the house was ready for us when we arrived. There are plenty of towels provided. Having the washer/dryer on site meant we never ran out. The owners do provide a long list of rules but 95% are really common sense and courtesy. We did not find any of their rules impacted our visit.
