Great location, nice home

Super convenient location, very short walk to shops, restaurants, art galleries as well as Pageant of Masters & Laguna Playhouse. Ample parking for four cars, two in garage. Beds are very comfortable and well appointed home. Needs a few small handyman repairs but otherwise very nice and we enjoyed our stay immensely.

Fabulous home in Laguna Beach

If you want to stay in a clean elegant home walking distance from downtown Laguna Beach this is the place. We were able to walk everywhere with children. There were plenty of bathrooms and bedrooms for our group of eight and parking for two cars in the garage and two on the driveway. Parking can be an issue in Laguna beach so the closeness to the restaurants and beach was fantastic. When we checked in we did not look closely enough for the garage door opener. We called the provided number and they immediately responded. The appliances were fantastic. They also provided a washer and dryer. Also they provided beach chairs which was a great plus and easy to carry the short walk to the beach. I would stay here again.

My husband and I travel to Laguna Beach at least twice a year. This time we decided to share the beautiful location with our kids before everyone headed back to school. The location of the property is 5 stars! So easy to walk to the beach, shops, restaurants, grocery store, etc. We walked pretty much everywhere! We even took a really great walk each morning through the neighborhood, to the beach and back to the house. You are in a city setting so be prepared to hear the city life (cars, police and fire are right next to the property, etc). The very little front porch was nice for coffee or evening sitting - it is tight. We explored several of the local beaches outside of the main beach and it was nice to have chairs, umbrella, and some boogie boards available. The property itself could use some repairs and some paint. There was an issue upon our arrival that was handled by Julie in a timely manner. Check in and out was super easy. If you want a walkable location in Laguna Beach this property will check that box.

Great downtown location

Location was perfect for our stay. We were able to walk anywhere. So nice to have shower products supplied. I would recommend providing garbage bags, paper plates and a pizza cutter. We were very mindful to keep the house as clean as when we checked in. Manager was very responsive and easy to work with which was extremely helpful. I agree with other reviews as to possibly clean/replace the carpet. We had a wonderful friends trip celebrating our forever friends sons wedding.

Don’t stay here

Location excellent House dated and shabby. HOWEVER , after spending almost 7 thousand dollars to rent this property, we were harassed by the owner for 2 missing water glasses for 10 doLlars. We didn’t take or break these glasses!!! We are disputing the claim AND WOULD NEVER RENT FROM THIS OWNER AGAIN!!!

Average, not great

The location is good and we enjoyed having a garage and parking for our guests. As others have said, the unit is definitely in need of some refreshing. The carpets are quite worn and stained and the top bedroom has very squeaky floors. We did not have hot water and were told by the management company to just keep the water running longer until it gets hot. Preheat time was 5-10 minutes. There was plenty of room, but the furniture is not comfortable. As others have stated, there are a lot of stairs and renters are not allowed to use the elevator. It’s okay as a last resort, but disappointing for the price.

Hugely disappointing

The pictures suggested a single family residence in the hills. It felt more like a condo as it was part of three houses in a row connected to each other. You can see and hear the activity on the neighbors deck so limited privacy. The only deck large enough to have an outdoor table was on the lower floor so there is absolutely no view other than the street and a very uninviting space. None of the outdoor spaces were well set up or inviting. The house on a whole needs updating. Stained carpets throughout house. Main bathroom shower was only partially working and the toilet seat was cracked and needed replacing. All the towels should be replaced. The main floor bathroom sink was leaking and could not be used. The seating area had one uncomfortable couch and two uncomfortable chairs. I spoke to the property manager when I arrived and understandably they could not send anyone over to fix anything because of the corona virus, but she acknowledged she know of the issues. If they are aware of the issues before our arrival why were they not fixed? If they could not be fixed the property should not have been put on the rental program if that was the case. Hugely disappointing. Do not be misled by the photos.

Location, location, location

We stayed here with two other couples during the Ohana Fest music festival weekend, held south of Laguna. The house was just as described - very spacious for six adults; we all had our own floor and bathroom. The views from the two top decks are of the hills, downtown and ocean in the distance. You can easily walk everywhere around Laguna and to the beach. While the house could use some updates, repairs and newer furniture, it was casual and contained all essentials needed. Kitchen was also stocked well. Garage comes with remote for easy parking access. Super simple check-in process and communicative property management staff. I would stay here again and recommend for anyone wanting to easily explore Laguna and the surrounding areas. Probably not a good spot for those with younger kids, given multiple staircases and lots of tile, but perfect for couples' get-away or a girls' weekend. 5 stars on location!!

Great location, comfortable spacious home

We had a wonderful stay thank you! The location is amazing. We would just run down to the beach for our morning swim. The living area is spacious and well equipped and has beautiful light. Thank you for sharing your wonderful beach property with us!

Walk anywhere in Laguna Beach

This property is very well located for exploring Laguna Beach. It is spacious if a bit cut up in multi-level style. We were very comfortable and had all the necessities. It’s a quiet neighborhood with a mere glimpse of the ocean. A few things in the unit were in disrepair but it didn’t really affect us. In my opinion the unit could use a refresh - furniture, carpet, and bedding. That said, I would rent again.

Great Location

Location was perfect. Short walk to shopping, restaurants and the beach . Warning to those with limited mobility this would not be a place to stay for you. Very steep flight of stairs to get inside the house. Very comfortably set up for 6-8 people with each bedroom having its own bathroom. Only input would be to have more Towels and things like dishwasher detergent and a wine opener.

You get what you pay for and nothing else

This is a nice house in a fabulous location. It’s spacious and clean and comfortable for a family or a small group of friends. However, if you’re someone who likes amenities and a special touch of hospitality then this place probably isn’t for you. The best example is this: a guest was using the 5th bedroom in the house, which has a pullout couch bed. There were no linens anywhere in the house. Not a single sheet or extra blanket (I hope no one gets chilly during your stay). When I called about getting a set of sheets or a blanket, they informed me that I would have to pay an additional fee for linens - a stipulation that is buried in the fine print. They did not care that a guest who was paying a lot of money to stay there was sleeping on a sofa bed without sheets… and according to the property manager and owners, it was unreasonable to request them. So I literally had to borrow a set of sheets from my family in town in order to make the stay more pleasant. I was lucky that I knew someone in Laguna who could help. The house was adequate for all our other needs. It’s unfortunate that the owner and property managers are so inhospitable. You can expect the beauty of Laguna to be a highlight that offsets an impersonal and transactional experience at the house.

Great location. Scenic views

We stayed for a long weekend with a group of friends to enjoy the local music and arts. This property is perfectly located in walking distance to great restaurants and shops. There are great views of the pacific and surrounding coastline from the property. Highly recommended.

Walk to downtown Laguna

Awesome location! Only a block away from downtown Laguna. Close to dining and shopping and plenty of room for our party of 6. Check in was a breeze. Large bedrooms with comfortable beds and bedding. Each bedroom had access to their own bathroom. There are no TV’s in the bedrooms, but there is a huge TV in the den and also one in the living room. The appliances in the kitchen and the washer and dryer were new. The downside to the property was that it needed some repairs. The elevator, second shower head in the master, the garbage disposal on the kitchen island, and blinds in the den and downstairs bedroom were not working. The sink in one of the bathrooms was leaking as well. We were told that they could not fix the items until after we left due to COVID. The carpet throughout the bedrooms and hallways was also stained and needed cleaned. Overall we had a great stay.

Great location and service

We have rented houses all over the world and this was one of the best. Its location is an easy walk from lots of shops and restaurants but still quiet and peaceful since it's built into the side of a hill.

Great property! Perfect Location!

Beautiful property!! The location is great, close to everything, only a pleasant 5 min. walk to Main Beach, restaurants and shops. The house is modern, comfortable and clean. There is no AC, but the fans and open windows did the trick. The bedrooms, all with their own private bathroom, were comfortable. The kitchen is very nice and well equipped. This house is perfect for a large family.

Far beyond expectations

We stayed at this wonderful home for a summer vacation and it was incredible. It was beautifully furnished, and the location was perfect. We were blown away just as we walked in - the pictures really don't do it justice. Absolutely loved it, already booked for next year!

Beautiful home fabulous location

We loved staying in this lovely contemporary home. It is very clean, the bedrooms were comfortable and it so nice that each room has their own bathroom. The kitchen is very nice. Loved having the garage to park! There are 6 beach chairs for use, which we took advantage of. Our family loved walking to dinner in town or just shopping in the village. The walk to the beach was easy -5-10 min. We watched the laguna beach and Newport Beach fireworks from the balcony. The leasing agent was easy to deal with and very helpful with suggestions. Our family of 7 loved staying here. We will be back!!
