This beautiful, private top floor condo at Kahaluu Bay Villas is quite the gem.
The unit has a well equipped kitchen and all the rooms are spacious with a balcony overlooking the pool and the ocean.
The bedrooms and baths are wonderfully appointed.
The living area is open and airy. Everything that is needed for staying in a condo is provided, even the snorkeling gear. The views of Kahaluu Bay and the condo pool from the balcony are unobstructed and beautiful. Watching the sunset or the boats in the bay from the balcony is so relaxing.
The woven drapery shutters in the living room are a fantastic feature that not only helps with blocking out the sun, but is excellent for keeping the unit at a much cooler temperature than blinds!

After a morning snorkel in this calm, shallow bay visit unique locations like the Place of Refuge or Keauhou Bay (where you will see an awesome variety of colorful tropical fish, several Green Sea Turtles, and a beautiful array of coral), take a swim and sun bathe by the lovely pool that is immediately below your condo!

After a day of playing in the sun, shopping or touring, come back to this spacious, 1200 square foot tropical retreat for a laid back barbecue dinner and a spectacular sunset, the highlight of every evening! Or venture out to one of several wonderful restaurants and sunset venues in the area. (Twelve turtles sleep on a lava rock in front of the hotel open air bar, just a short block away, every evening!) Amazing ocean views at this place and right across the street from a good snorkeling beach! The beach gear in the storage closet was really nice to have for our time there.Large unit with 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms was nice. The place was a little dated inside and could use some updates, especially the kitchen amenities. Also, several dishes were dirty in the shelves.The property managers were good communicators and make check in/out very easy. We would stay here again.

It was nice! It has a balcony with an amazing view. We spent all sunrise and sunset out there many days! One complaint was that The doors were a little strange as they had panels basically like the doors in a changing room in a department store and the door between our room and bathroom had panels missing. So privacy was a little less than we expected. The location is nice access to a good snorkel/surf spot, a place to rent snorkeling/surf gear! The pool is nice and clean and the lady that works on site is super nice. They were quick to respond and come thru when we needed something. I’d stay here again!

Place was clean and has a beautiful view. Close to everything. Short walk to metro pack beach. Pool was warm. Had steaks on the bbq in the pool area. Bbq was very clean. Everything was clean in the condo.

We had a wonderful stay!

The condo is spacious and quiet, with a large lanai perfect for relaxing and taking in the stunning views. While the unit is a bit dated, the unbeatable location and peaceful atmosphere made up for it. It had everything we needed for our stay. We loved the easy access to snorkeling right across the street and spent a lot of time enjoying the lovely pool. A great spot for a relaxing getaway—would definitely stay here again!

Great Location for Cooler weather

The property needs maintenance, but otherwise is great for cooler months. The last day was above 85 and to hot to stay in unit.

Cosy comfort with seaview

The Apartment ist big, ont the top floor (3) has all you need with two separate bedrooms (twin and double) and bathrooms and is overlooking the sea. Each morning I only had few steps (5 min) two a spectacular snorkel spot where I also could some laps. The elevator takes you down to the private pool (soo relaxing) and the beach-supply storage, where you find all you need! We enjoyed staying here very much. Ps: we just had a huge (giant) cockroach on our first night on the balcony. I was screaming loud;) But it was the only one. Neighbours said that’s normal;)

Reviewer Comments: We were pleased with this property. If you can see past the dated decor, the place is very nice. The location and view are worth every penny! It is listed as no a/c, but there are ceiling fans that help tremendously and the evening does cool down a lot. The balcony over looks the pool, which is also a great feature.

Wonderful location

We loved the view from the lanai where we watch the sunsets. Being walking distance to one of the best snorkeling beaches was one of the main reasons we booked here. The snorkeling waswonderful.

Nice location

Location is good. Near but not too near the busy area. Condo is nice and well maintained and clean. Lots of fans but it is still very very warm in the unit.

Beautiful condo in great location

The condo was beautiful and clean. We loved watching the surfers all day. Was very comfortable and beautifully decorated. They thought of everything in the kitchen and in the bathrooms.

Excellent Location

The building complex and the location make this property very attractive. The view from the lanai is remarkable and not to be missed. The BBQ and pool area are perfect. The condo is spacious and all that we needed.

We enjoyed our stay! A bit of a snag checking in but the property mgmt was responsive and helped address the issue! We loved being able to walk to the beach and watch the sunsets from the lanai!

Perfect for our needs

This villa is very thoughtfully equipped. We had everything we could need from beach supplies, well stocked kitchen, games, even binoculars to watch the whales in the bay. We loved having the keyless entry to the villa, the elevator and the beach supply locker. Beautiful view from the linae, a very nice grocery store is nearby, the building and neighborhood are quiet. The villa shows a little age but is in great condition and very clean. Would love to stay again. Thank you!!

Beautiful view and great location

We loved breakfast and sunset dinner on the balcony with the magnificent ocean views. We also loved being in a quieter and more private complex with practically private pool use. Being across from snorkeling, minutes from Magic Sands Beach and Kona, plus being near the road to South Kona was exactly what we wanted. The unit was spacious and met all of our needs. The use of beach equipment was icing on the cake.

Great Location

We enjoyed our stay. We loved the views, being so close to the ocean, and the property. There is a pool and the property is kept very tidy. The unit was a little tired but met all our needs. This is the third time we have stayed in this building. We will be back.
