Just outside Stevens Point, this log home sits atop a bluff overlooking the charming Lake Onland. This 2,600 square foot home sleeps up to 10 adults, 12 with children and is nestled amongst century-old pines, that make you feel like you're living in your own personal forest. Just steps below the bluff is a crystal clear glacier bowl lake with your own private beach. It is the perfect place to relax and renew your spirit.

This 2,600 square foot home sleeps up to 10 and has plenty of space to spread out. Features include:
Full kitchen with electric stove, microwave and dishwasher
High speed wireless internet/cable
Gas grill
Full masonry fire place in great room & wood burning stove in basement
Large movie & game room with flat screen TV and dry bar
Outdoor shower (summer months only)
Washer/dryer
Linens provided
Canoe, kayak & paddle boat

RECENTLY REPLACED: Carpet in main floor bedrooms with hard surface flooring.

Outdoor activities include biking. hiking, fishing, swimming and kayaking. Nearby attractions include the award winning Central Waters Brewery, Point Brewery and Sentryworld Golf Club.

Please note Lake Onland is a no wake lake and does not permit motor boats and jet skis. The nearby Waupaca Chain of Lakes and Lake Emily each a 20 minute drive away are great for motor boats and jet skis .

Overall we had a very nice stay catching up with family! It was a little dirty when we got there, but ultimately not a huge deal.Pros: --nice area in kitchen/dining area to sit and visit. --beach area is really nice. Soft sand, clear water, and we had fun watching the small fish and looking for snails! Also nice to have the outdoor shower to rinse your feet etc.--nice foosball table downstairs for family fun. --good communication from host.Cons:--there are a LOT (61 to be exact) of somewhat steep wooden steps to get to the beach. Was a little tricky for a couple people in our group with knee issues etc, and I could see how it would be a little tough for small children.--if you are a light sleeper beware--lots of creaks and hard to be quiet to get up at night for using the restroom etc without waking others up. Overall we had a nice stay and enjoyed ourselves. Nice family getaway for a few days.

Peaceful family getaway

This cabin is perfect for a group of people. The several levels provide privacy. We put all of the adult children in the basement and they had their own exit to the beach, the foosball table, bathroom, game area, and tv with sitting area. The kitchen was stocked with all of the appliances/kitchen tools we needed. The private beach makes it especially nice and the lake is so clean for swimming. We loved the paddle board and pedal boat, there were kayaks and canoes available as well. The lake is small but big enough to make all of these small boats enjoyable. The owner was responsive as was the property manager.

Unforgettable Lakeside Getaway – Fun for Everyone!We had an absolutely amazing stay at this beautiful cabin on the lake! From the moment we arrived, we were charmed by the perfect blend of rustic vibes and modern amenities—it truly feels like a home away from home. The peaceful atmosphere made it easy to unwind, and the setting couldn't have been more picturesque.There was something for everyone here! The included water toys—kayaks, canoe, paddleboat, and paddle boards—made for endless fun on the lake. On land, we enjoyed games, a foosball table, an aray of provided board games and plenty of space to relax and play. Even our dog had a blast—the property is super pet-friendly and welcoming for furry family members, which made the experience even more special.A huge shoutout to Shane, the property manager, who was incredibly friendly, responsive, and made sure our stay was seamless from start to finish. You can tell this place is managed with real care and attention to detail.Whether you're looking for outdoor adventure or a peaceful lakeside retreat, this cabin delivers on every level. Can’t recommend it highly enough!

Annual Buddies weekend

Rest, relax and chat for the weekend....catching up with long time friends. This place is perfect for that and the healthy stockpile of firewood makes the evening wind down lovely.

Beautiful hidden gem

This property is a stunning cabin set in the middle of the woods. The cabin itself is well appointed with everything you could possibly need, including SPACE! The sand beach and lake were wonderful for kids who love to splash around! Please be aware that in order to get to the beach, you must take a pretty steep set of stairs which may be tough for those who are literally faint of heart. We would recommend this cabin to anyone, especially large families who want to relax without being on top of each other.

Annual Family Vacation

My husband and I host an annual family vacation for our children and grandchildren. Glacier Pines was the perfect setting for our time together. The house was spacious and comfortable. The kitchen was well stocked which made family dinners a breeze to prepare, serve, and enjoy. We enjoyed snuggles with our grandchildren on the deck while enjoying morning coffee. The best feature is the beautiful lake! Sandy beach, clear & clean water. We enjoyed the kayaks, canoe, and paddle board. Excellent communication from the owners too. Highly recommend this property.

Perfect week at the lake

This cabin is the perfect combination of modern and rustic with the log home build and two story field stone fireplace overlooking the great room. The no wake lake and gradual incline sandy beach made a peaceful and quiet week canoeing, paddle boarding, fishing and swimming. The rain day allowed us to have a game day and take in a movie and dinner in Stevens Point only twenty minutes away although the kitchen provides everything you need to cook a meal of which we made many from breakfast to dinner. Our chocolate lab will need a week to recover from the swimming and walks in w

Wonderful memories

We stayed at this beautiful cabin July 2024. Everything was very nice. Check in was very easy, cabin was well stocked with kitchen utensils, linens, towels, bathroom supplies etc. The beach on the property is so nice and clean. We had many things to occupy our time there. We most definatly will recommend this cabin and hope to return again. We were well satisfied!

Wonderful stay

The cabin is beautiful and has all necessities. We enjoyed our 8-day stay. The lake and the beach are real gems. Owners responded right away to any request. Would definitely come back!

Memorial weekend 2024

-host initially communicated via the app and then switched to email -floors throughout the home were dirty/dusty/pet hair like they had not been cleaned in a while -one bed was missing a top sheet -hot water for showers were limited -the driveway was littered with leaves and limbs; we had to clear the driveway to get in -stairs to the beach were rickety in places -trail from the stairs to the beach was overgrown and we had to walk through poison ivy -there were puzzle pieces on the floor in front of the woodstove -there was a piece of a fruit snack wrapper in the loft, food crumbs under the couches, applesauce container on the floor in the garage and pubic looking hairs on the main level toilet -we killed multiple hornets in the house -driveway was overgrown and narrow, scratching our vehicle -the woodworking is beautiful and the amount of space was perfect -beach was sandy and beautiful! -we had a ton of rain and nothing leaked, but there was a large puddle in front of the front door -between the driveway, yard condition and the cleanliness we did not feel overly welcome

Family vacation

The cabin is fully stocked and has plenty of room. The locations is great 20 min to Stevens point or Waupaca. The lake is beautiful, clean and clear, perfect for swimming. The whole family enjoyed their stay, grandparents to grandchildren. Thank you!

Convenient quiet lake location for family fun

We spent a week here with family and enjoyed the no wake lake with kayaks we brought and the paddle boat supplied at the property. The kitchen is well supplied, the beach is beautiful, the water is so clear. Several of the boys fished and caught multiple fish on the lake. The fire pit area is laid out nice and is great for smores and campfire stories. We used the grill for hamburgers and steaks, it worked great. One thing to consider though its 61 stairs down to the beach so if you are hauling things up and down be prepared. The other thing is due to the open floor plan you dont have much privacy in the house, you can hear everyone everywhere at all times. For us it wasnt a problem but for some people it might be. We golfed a couple courses in the area and getting to town wasn't too bad at all. Overall one of the best family vacations.

Beautiful Cabin on crystal clear lake

We enjoyed the three level cabin with a deck overlooking the trees and lake. The lake water was very clear and you could see tadpoles swimming around. Truely a relaxing family getaway.

Our Family Gathering

We loved it! The grandkids can’t wait to go back. It is rustic, fairly secluded, and quiet. Just what we wanted. The little lake was perfect for swimming and playing for the grandkids. The kids loved the mountain biking near by. Lots of steps to get down to the water which could be a problem for some but we didn’t mind. Christina was very responsive and easy to work with. Thank you helping us make some wonderful family memories. We hope to come back!

Great visit!

We had a wonderful visit! The cabin is lovely and well stocked for our long weekend with family. The beach and lake were lovely and great for a visit with young kids (shallow, sandy beach and quiet lake). Would definitely visit again!

Second visit

We returned here after a couple of years. It is as good, or better than before (which I rated then at 5 stars). Beautiful well-maintained spacious log interior. Large, mostly private acreage, plenty of sandy beach-front access to a perfectly sized clean quiet lake (paddleboard, canoe, kayak, all great to have access to). Steep hike back up from the lake is the only potential issue I could imagine if someone in your group has trouble with stairs. Otherwise, perfect. Quick responses from the owners were also very helpful.

I've been spending weekends at this lake my entire life. I have many fond childhood memories of camp fires, fishing, swimming, cross country skiing, biking and more. The area has so much to offer that my wife and I recently purchased this wonderful log home set on 3 acres with 250 feet of Lake frontage. Rent this cabin and ensure memories that will last a lifetime.
