A beautiful recently remodeled home nested on a wooded river lot with a hot tub.

This beautiful home is located in the very quiet Covered Bridge subdivision of Waupaca. The main floor has recently under gone a major remodeling and is very modern. The entire first floor was completed in 2020.

The home is Just moments from all the outdoor activities and night life but yet is incredibly peaceful with no city lights. The lot is heavily wooded and on the Waupaca River. Come, relax, fish or have a fire next to the river. There is a fire pit and a supply of firewood onsite.

It is 6 bedroom home. The master bedroom has a king bed overlooking the river. The master bathroom got a complete remodeling two years ago and is just beautiful. The other 2 bedrooms both upstairs, one with a 1 king and a single in the close (perfect if you have a toddler) and one bedroom with a queen bed. The king bedroom has a view that overlooks the river. There is a fourth bedroom on the main floor with a queen bed in it. Perfect for the elderly traveling in your group. 5th 6th bedroom is in the basemen. The first has a queen bed a double bed and a single bed in it. Great place to send the kids it hasa tv in it too!! And the second one has a queen bed only.
Thereā€™s a Hot tub on the deck along with an outdoor bar. 3 Kayaks available upon request. House includes WIFI and all the amenities of a fully furnished home.

Pets are allowed for a small fee. I did add a large fenced in area for them recently. Itā€™s completely in the woods so is very shaded and comfortable.
Over 8 guest there is a 35 per person per night additional charge.

Great location! Seems remote but very close to town. Deer sightings every day! Very quiet neighborhood. Issue with air conditioning was addressed expeditiously. Plenty of activities are available for all ages. Would recommend this property enthusiastically!

Great Getaway for Family Gathering

This was a great spot for our family gathering. Grandparents, cousins, aunt and uncles etc. Beautiful home located right on the river. Our family enjoyed the space that with bedrooms, bathrooms, nice big dinning table to eat at and living room to sit and relax in. The kids loved the playground outside as well as the game room in the garage. The deck was great with its nice seating area and we loved the hot tub. Bonnie was great to work with and easy to get ahold of if we needed anything. Would definitely recommend staying here.

Great Stay!!

Bonnieā€™s place is spacious and comfortable. We traveled with four adults a 3 1/2 year-old and a one year-old everybody was able to have their own bedroom with one bedroom to spare. The beautiful setting on Waupaca River is very peaceful. The hot tub was a huge hit with everyone.!

Wonderful Getaway

This house is becoming a favorite of ours. Bonnie is wonderful to work with. The house is full of all the amenities they you would need. The bedrooms are super comfy. The backyard really make your stay extra special. Hot tub and firpit with the river running nearby is very pictursque.

Wonderful stay

A wonderful place and property. Beautiful and relaxing and the house has so much room, yet very cozy too. Bonnie was so attentive and helpful. We saw deer and chipmunks and the river view is stunning.

Excellent Cousin Weekend

Amazing place to stay! We rented the house for a long weekend with cousins. Huge house, with plenty of room. Bonnie is very accommodating and so easy to get a hold of! Would definitely return and rent from Bonnie again! Thanks for a wonderful weekend to make memories!

Family Getaway

We had an amazing stay here for our family getaway. The owners were prompt with any questions we had and very friendly and accommodating. The house and location was quite beautiful and serene. The location itself was ideal because it gave the impression of being remote while still being close to amenities like grocery stores and restaurants. This was one of the most well stocked kitchens in respect to supplies, pots, pans and small kitchen appliances, etc. We truly enjoyed our stay and can't wait to return!

Great place for family

Bonnie's home was clean, warm, and welcoming! Plenty of space for the whole family. Beautiful shaded yard with serene flowing river in the back. We enjoyed campfires and smores at the firepit and relaxing in the hot tub. The inside of the home is open and plenty of space for all. Beds were very comfortable and the 2 sets of washer/dryer makes laindry a quicker task. We would love to come back for another visit!

Family Vacation

This house was beautiful and beautifully located on the Waupaca River. We hadnā€™t had a family vacation in over 5 years and this place was perfect for our growing family and older parents. Bonnie filled us in on where everything was and was so much fun to talk with. We wish her the best of luck as she continues working on the house!

Great property

Property was gorgeous. Went in fall with the changing colors and falling leaves. Hot tub and fire pit were used often. Plenty of space for all of us to eat, play games and watch tv together. Was so nice to have the river right in the back yard. Lots of things to do for all ages. Everyone had a great time. Owner was nice and very responsive if we had any questions.

Nice for a family

Nice property for a family. The deck, bbq & patio furniture are nice. The kitchen had plenty of cooking utensils and amenities. Beds were comfy. Property was quiet and peaceful. Only down side was the fast river and the trees that were down in front of their portion of the river. Not safe for dogs or kids. Made it hard to cast fishing lines. Otherwise it was nice.

Great River view property

Spacious house in a great wooded location, with the deck and yard overlooking Waupaca River. Fully equipped kitchen, all linnens and towels provided. Remodeling of the house not quite finished, as of May 2019. As a result, it features only 3 regular bedrooms and open space with some beds in basement and bathrooms available only on second floor. We had a great time, Bonnie was a wonderful host, easy to communicate with. Would stay again.

Family Time

Our family grouop of 8 adults age 60 to 74 looked a long time to find a house to accomodate us. Bonnie's place fit the bill. What we loved: quiet, privacy, river front, large well supplied kitchen for several chefts at once, large dining room table we could all sit at, back deck and front porch with lots of comfortable seating,comfortable beds, hot tub, close to town of Waupaca. There is a great beach a short drive away. We had some questions after booking, before arrival and Bonnie communicated quickly. The basement is still under renovation including a bathroom, but the bedroom down there is comfy with two beds and is blocked off from the other areas. The landscaping is lovely. There was enough room in the driveway for 5 cars including a large transit van. We would definitely stay here again.

Wonderful, spacious, quiet property in great location!

Stayed with my family for a week and would definitely come back. House is great for large families with plenty of room to relax and maneuver. Many bedrooms, all clean and comfortable. Patio and back yard are amazing. Patio is huge with a good grill and chairs you dont want to get up from! There's also a rather large fenced in dog run which came in handy. Owner of property was easy to work with, no issues. Property feels and sounds remote but amenities are all within a 5 minute drive. Hot tub was clean and easy to use. If i had to criticize anything, it would be small things but nothing that would prevent me from staying here again. Many thanks, Bonnie, for trusting us with yiur property!
