Welcome to the Royal Kahili! This is our home for 3-4 months out of the year, so it is comfortable and well appointed for your stay.

Extensive renovations to the unit. It is gorgeous! New kitchen and guest bath, fresh paint and baseboards, updated light fixtures and ceiling fans. Have a look at the videos to see each room in detail.

Quiet 2-bedroom, 2 bath condo at the beautiful Royal Kahili. Unit is in the rear of the building, so you don't hear Alii Drive, just the ocean and the birds. This is one of few units in the building that does not require any stairs to access. Teak lanai furniture. WiFi, Direct TV/Roku, flat screen TV, DVR/VHS player included. California King bed in the master bedroom; two twins in the 2nd bedroom. A/C and washer/dryer. Coffee maker and bean grinder in the kitchen. Renovated kitchen. Updated master bath with tile and glass block walk-in shower. Updated guest bath with new shower stall. Tile floors throughout, fresh paint and colors in every room.

Condo was exactly as advertised. It was very clean and well stocked with essentials. It was just across the street from the beach and the pool in complex was lovely. Edward was the perfect host. He was always responsive with any question or request. We highly recommend this condo. Grab it fast. You will not be disappointed.

Excellent

Check in was easy, directions were on the app. Kitchen was well stocked with cooking utensils. Pool and hot tub were very nice. The unit was on the 3rd floor and was quiet.

A quiet oasis in paradise!

Hawaii (The Big Island) is our most special vacation spot, and Kona town is our favorite locale. That makes this unit the absolute perfect jumping off spot, and a wonderful place to recoup, talk story, and plan for the days ahead. Working with the owner was very easy; he was proactive in his communications and quite accomodating. The unit was well equipped, with everything you could ever need for living comfortably. The coffee grinder was a wonderful touch! There was plenty of bedding, the place was spotless, and the updates to the decor are on point! We enjoyed the walk-in shower in the master bath, and the Lanai was our second favorite spot to hang out. We enjoyed the pool, the barbecues, and the best sunsets, right across the street in the little cove. Not a single negative with this wonderful unit and owner!

Relaxing, well-appointed, clean condo

Everything you need is provided in the kitchen. the balcony and living space are very comfortable and the 2 bathrooms are very nice. The twin beds in 1 room are very practical and the pool and hot tub are great. Owner was very responsive to all our needs.

Excellent Stay and responsive owner

HAd one small issue with the AC unit - and owner got it handled right away. Was very quick to respond. Place was clean and beds were comfortable. Quite a few friendly cats cruising around as well. Pool area was nice. Would stay again without hesitation.

Ideal location with great amenities

We were very pleased with our stay. This was our 1st trip to Hawaii, and I had communicated with Ed and he was great with tips. Shops with in easy reach, and lots to do on the big island, all with in driving reach. The place itself is very well kept & well stocked with every thing that you can think of. Towels & beach gear - even snorkels & a cooler to carry your drinks or lunch if you need to keep it cold for a day trip. We stayed 8 days & we had so much to do & see that we didn't have any time to enjoy the pool that is with the property - which also has a gas grill if you wanted to grill something to eat for dinner or lunch. Overall an A+ rating for our stay here.

Wonderdul stay at Royal Kahili

Our family of 4 had a wonderdul stay at the Royal Kahili. Amazing location across from the ocean and close to Keauhou and Kailua town. The pool grounds were beautiful. A lot of tables and chairs and loungers to hang out and bbq. We enjoyed many hours at the pool. It is a quiet complex. The condo itself was cozy and clean with comfortable beds. There were beach towels and chairs to use which were much appreciated. Royal Kahili is an older complex built in the 70s. Definitely shows some signs of age. The parking lot is small and can be tight if you have a larger car. But we would stay here again. We stayed for a week and were sad to go. This place is a hidden gem.

Great Stay!

This unit was very clean, a great location and was stocked with all the amenities you could possibly want for a trip to the big island! The owner of this condo was extremely thorough on what was provided at this location! We had the trip of a lifetime! Highly recommend staying here!

Great Base Camp for Adventures

We had a great time on the Big Island and the stay here made it even better. It was the perfect home base, from the well-stocked kitchen to the pool to the AC to the great selection of books. The kitchen even had a crock pot, which was great for starting a meal and heading out for the day. During our stay, we ran out of trash bags and new bags were delivered the next day. Great place for a family of 4!

I cannot be more pleased with the stay

The condo was perfect and exactly as described. We had all that we needed for a great stay. Several beaches were within walking distance and only really required a small drive to wherever we wanted to go. The whole team's kindess was amplified when my daughter became sick and we had to extend our stay by one day. Ed and his boss found us a unit in the same building to occupy. I was very impressed and grateful for their kindess. I would highly recommend.

Wonderful stay

Ed's place was perfect ! Great location and amenities. Very easy communication with the host and he made sure we had everything we need. We stayed during the Ironman and I would stay there again if needed.

Better than expected

Ed was great to work with right from the start. Quick to respond to communications and always very friendly. The condo was easy to find, right off Alii Drive. Condo was close to parking spot, 3rd floor but elevator was steps away from parking and front door to condo. Condo was very clean, well laid out and had so many bonuses in small necessities. The beds were comfortable and the AC was amazing when we needed it. We would stay here again and also recommend to friends and family if they travel to the big island.

Beautiful Condo

We had an amazing stay at Ed's condo in Kona! Its is so roomy and the perfect space for the 4 of us! The kids really enjoyed having their own bed and said they were so comfy. My husband and I slept very well too! The grounds of the condo are so beautiful and we enjoyed the pool every night! Ed is a super host and only a quick text/call away. When we spoke he gave us some good recommendations on beaches and food. The condo is in an ideal spot to travel around from and you can hear the ocean. If you are thinking of booking your stay here, do it!! We cant wait to come back and stay again.

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this condo

Our family of four loved this well appointed condo. It is just as described and included everything we could need. It was very clean. Communications with Ed were great: he was quick to respond. The pool and BBQ area is also great! Highly recommend staying here.

Family memories

The property was exactly as described. We are a family of 4 with a 17 & 20 year old. Our vacation times together are very limited. We were so grateful for opportunity to stay there. My oldest went on a few fishing charters which ended up only catching beautiful boat rides. We also did the manta ray night tour, went to Kona a few times, did a few hikes, went to Maunakea and the National Volcano Park for the sights. We went to several beaches to swim and snorkel. The one right across the street was nice to snorkel in too. This is my third time visiting Kona. It has really gone downhill with homelessness, litter and drugs. We didn't have any problems, you just need to be aware (like most other places these days). My 17 year old wanted to jog into town after dark to find his dad and brother, but i didn’t want him to. I enjoyed the lanai daily. The pool, garden area is gorgeous and so enjoyable at night. Ed is a great communicator and graciously allowed us a late check out since we had such a late flight. We had one small issue. The wheel of the twin bed broke (salt air is hard on metal). I had the perfect size extra sturdy box to keep it off the ground and level. Ed really wanted to get that fixed for us during our stay, but we were ok. I also appreciated the washer, dryer and how well the kitchen was stocked, especially salt and non-stick spray. The pan didn’t work to well for scrambled eggs, so i baked them. My regret is not staying longer. Mahalo!

2023 July Stay

Large master bedroom with renovated bathroom. Good location near white sands beach. Costco, Walmart, Target and Long's within 20 to 15 minutes. Lot's of restaurants near, including mom and pop restaurants.
