Kanaloa Kona on a gorgeous ocean beach!

Kanaloa at Kona is considered by many to be the nicest resort on the Kona Coast. It sits on an ancient Lava flow that juts out into the Ocean about 1/2 mile, thereby separating the resort from the noise and traffic of Alii Drive, with entrance through a quiet residential neighborhood. All the other resorts in town sit right on Alii Drive. The resort is beautifully manicured and is located on a quiet, peaceful 16 acres bounded by the Kona Country Club Golf Course on the north, the ocean on the west, serene He'eia Bay on the south,. Walking distance to all the activities of beautiful Keauhou Bay, and less than half a mile to the Keauhou Shopping Center with supermarket, drug store, urgent care, and many shops and restaurants. Due to the integrated design and low density of the property, it has the feel of "Old Hawaii", as opposed to condo or apartment blocks with a few palm trees spread around.

The resort is a gated community with three lovely pools, each with jacuzzi, shower, and changing rooms, two lighted tennis courts, six BBQ's, and a front desk with a very helpful concierge on duty to assist you. The Kanaloa at Kona oceanfront restaurant is again open for service, providing fine oceanfront dining in Keauhou at the water’s edge. There are enough world class beaches up and down the coast for you to explore a different one each day!

The condo was upgraded in 2015, and new carpet installed in 2018. The condo also has vaulted ceilings in every room giving it a very large open feel. There are three lanais in unit.

The spacious main lanai is oceanfront off of the living room and the two back lanais are off of the master bedroom and guest bedroom facing the mountains. We keep the condo stocked with snorkels, masks, fins, boogie boards, floaties, beach towels and a cooler so you're ready to start your vacation as soon as you check in!

You have several dining options. You can enjoy meals with seating for four at the glass table in the dining room or you can enjoy your meals oceanfront on the main lanai. You can also dine at the small table for two in the kitchen.

The spacious kitchen provides guests with all of the amenities and appliances to create gourmet meals right in the condo. Hawaiian Koa wood cabinets, tiled floors and granite countertops compliment this large, open kitchen with lots of cabinets for storage.
