Summary:

'Beachy Keen' is what we call this cozy oceanfront condo. It can sleep up to four people by way of a king size bed and a pull-out, has two full bathrooms and a full kitchen. This isn't a hotel room, this is a home! If the weather is stormy, stay inside and watch the waves from the amazing view of the oceanside suite. Don't forget about our indoor heated saltwater pool and dry sauna!



The Space:

Unit 122, which we call ā€œBeachy Keen,ā€ is a first-floor condo that has the personal touch of its owner, and the benefits of being just steps away from the edge of the beach.



This condo underwent a complete makeover in January 2015. It now features a king bed in the back bedroom, and a more open living area that has an elegant sofa that converts into a queen-sized bed. This doesnā€™t feel like a vacation rental. It feels like home.



A full kitchen provides all the ingredients for some serious home cooking. A keyless entry system prevents lockouts. Wi-fi is free and password-protected.Ā 



There is a bench right outside your oceanfront doors, and a short stairway right to the sand.



Guest Access:

The condo comes with a unique code which will get you entry into your unit. There you will find a key that will grant you access to our indoor, heated salt water pool and dry sauna.

Whether you're planning a trip to the beach, shopping areas, or local attractions, this service ensures a seamless and enjoyable exploration of our coastal town.



Other Things to Note:

This is a condo in a shared complex, and it's worth noting that from time to time, you might hear everyday sounds coming from neighboring units and common areas within the facility.



There are three gas grills on site available for guest use. They are located next to our sparkling pool.



The condo comes with a limited supply of complimentary coffee, sugar, and creamer.



Interaction with Guests:

Sea Gypsy Rentals manages more than 59 privately owned beachfront condos. We have a rental office on the property that is open no less than 8 hours a day. We give you your space, but weā€™re available on-site if you need anything.

The Sea Gypsy is one of my favorite places to stay. The units are always clean and well stocked. The view is spectacular with easy beach access and, a short walk to Kylios for a delicous meal. Centrally located so all my favorite shops and galleries are an easy walk or short drive.

Spectacular view of the ocean with beach access! Sliding door opens onto walkway just above the beach. Bench right outside the room. Kitchen well equipped for vacation cooking. We loved this place!

Literally steps from the beach!

The only reason this was given 3 stars is because upon arrival, the condo was not cleaned properly. The floors were filthy and full of sand and the bed was not made. We were given sheets by the housekeeper, but because of a language barrier, we were unsure if he was to put them on, or us. It seemed we were to do that. We swept the entire condo, and the floors were so dirty, they left our socks black. The gal in the office was very nice to bring us a mop and some floor cleaner, but we did that work as well. The gal said she would talk to the manager to see what they could do for us, but we never heard back. Other than that nightmare, the stay was very pleasant. Everything we needed to cook with was there. The ocean view was wonderful and it was so nice to be able to walk out the back door and walk a very short distance to the stairs to be quickly on the beach! Beautiful location! If the place had been cleaned properly, we would definitely book another stay. Very unfortunate.

A great solo escape

This little space is so perfect for a beach getaway! I love the decor and the creature comforts! It truly is such a great place. So close to walk out to the beach and enjoy the features Lincoln city has to offer. I will be back!!

Wonderful 40th Anniversary

Comfy unit

Nice midsize lodging, slightly outdated BUT really comfy. Extra blankets were really nice. Location was great for close to town with beautiful views. The salt water pool was a very clean area with lots of space to store your things. We enjoyed the dry sauna which felt clean, comfy and SAFE. While staying on the bottom level we felt like we had plenty of privacy while the curtains closed and enjoyed the bench right outside our room. Canā€™t wait to stay during the summer so we can utilize the BBQ area located next to the poolšŸ˜ƒ

Just lovely!

Hubs and I wanted to get away and this was perfect! Nice little short walk to the beach, cute little kitchen (with utensils and cookware!) and a fancy little restaurant near by! We were able to walk to the shops and the view was amazing. We had a great time!

Please know that we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and your hospitality. There were a couple items about the room that need attention. The living room heater does not work, although we didn't really need it. The front bedroom bath sink does not drain well. The sliding door drapery needs two or three curtain hooks that are missing, letting the drape sag. We noticed that our socks would get pretty dirty from the floor, but I suppose that is just part of being at the beach! Please don't take offense, we loved our stay and will probably return if our lives allow. Sincerely, Sandy and Ron Bortz

Location location location the Sea Gypsy is a fantastic spot to enjoy the beach and Lincoln City. The unit 122 Beachy Keen is a bit outdated and the furnishings are well lived in however it had everything you needed to cook meals and the ground floor made it very handy to just step outside and rightdown to the beach! I would stay at the Sea Gypsy again!!

For the 3 of us there was just enough room. Looked right out on the beach with plenty of roaming area. Stocked with what we needed. I would stay there again.
