If we are able to rebook the property for all or part of that period, we will refund the rental amount or a prorated share, as appropriate. Within 30 days after your departure, we will refund the damage deposit, less any amount required to cover repairs for damages (other than normal wear and tear) that occur during your visit. What a gem

The stay at Yaffa's was even more than I was hoping for...I could see the sunset/rise through the trees, start my day by walking around a pond (sometimes filled with geese!), and found the space to be so charming & creative. Yaffa is a warm and kind host, who made me feel welcome & at ease. I can't recommend her place highly enough. *Thank you*

Loved this gorgeous spot //rustic renovated barn.

Took my 11-year-old for a mother-daughter getaway weekend -- and took full advantage of the pool and the canoe/pond, and lovely area -- enjoyed nearby hiking and horseback riding, the Saturday farmer's market in Perkasie and most of all the night sky from the hammock. Yaffa's place is lovely, rustic with artistic flourishes. She herself was a lovely host and met all of our simple needs. Though no proseccco, we had a lovely time.

Peaceful rustic retreat on a wonderful pond.

Lovely picture view from within, fun pond activities outdoors. Perfect location for a nearby family reunion. When not visiting family, we were at the pond: - nature walks around the pond and property - canoeing - most of all - fishing - caught over 50 bass. I suggest the 3/8 ounce Arbogast Jitterbug. Lots of fun! Yaffa was very friendly and helpful

Nice peaceful retreat

Cozy little barn studio with a beautiful picture window overlooking the pond. Yafa and company are very friendly and helpful with any needs. We loved the fresh cut flowers.

A sweet little retreat

We so enjoyed our weekend at Yafa's. The house is truly tiny but so well designed and aesthetically terrific. It is a renovated portion of a barn, with a combined living/room kitchen and a sleeping loft. It overlooks the lovely pond, where there is canoe available for use. Note that the house is really an out-building on Yafa's large property, and the pool is more-or-less attached to her main house. So your stay is private but not entirely so, in that you'll see the owner coming and going. That said, we were there escaping from the city heatwave and spent nearly the entire weekend in her pool with no issues at all. The property and the owner are both lovely and interesting -- a great find!

Wonderful escape from the city!!

My husband, 4 yr old daughter and me had an escape from NYC to Yafa's wonderful quiet and serene property. We canoed in the lake, swam in the well water pool and relaxed in the small, but perfect accommodations. We saw a family of blue herons, a groundhog and a ton of butterflies. So many of the VRBO, AirBnB places are not well appointed, but Yafa's place IS! All the lights are on dimmers --- so important --- the furniture is sparse and perfect for the space. Great for clean freaks and people who love to cook. Beauty is everywhere you look, both inside and out. Will visit again. ❤️

A true sanctuary!

the energy of this space was so peaceful. Everything about the experience was lovely, Yaffa was great. We mainly spent our time cooking lovely meals and enjoying the beautiful view. We absolutely cannot wait until we return.

romantic getaway..

We were lucky to find a place that was close to our home, but felt like a true getaway. This was a birthday gift for my wife and was a perfec romantic setting. It was a very peaceful setting, and also very private. The refinished barn was charming and comfy and we got a great nights rest. We look forward to visiting again next year. We highly recommend this for anyone looking for peace, nature, and privacy.

PERFECT GET AWAY!

we took our kids here for a getaway and it was perfect! Yaffa was so kind and generous, the house was clean and neat, the pool was fantastic, the little lake on the property had a canoe. it was a real vacation, thank you Yaffa!

Studio barn as campground

A dozen old friends and 1 baby camped out on this lakeside property. We brought pony kegs and a sound system for the camp fire revelry. Previous years, sans baby, we ruined family campgrounds, so this year we rented this converted barn and vast property. It worked out. We were rather loud and neither the property owner or the baby minded. We also enjoyed the pool!

Amazing, peaceful property, magical space

What an amazing space, the landscaping is perfectly realized and draws on the full beauty of the surroundings. The owner keeps the property and pool in pristine condition. The pond is still and reflective in the early morning and evening. The stove in the property is of professional quality and very fun to prepare your meals on. We brought a number of tents to support a group of 12 and the owner provided a fire ring and an extra grill. I highly recommend this space for anyone looking to visit Nockamixon State Park or just looking for a quick romantic get away. If you are looking for a flexible space that is very accommodating anywhere near this area I strongly suggest you give this listing serious consideration.

Charming and enjoyable getaway.

It is a very nicely done and well-decorated studio build inside a barn with a view on a small lake! The host is very warm and welcoming and made us feel right at home. We loved the place. We had access to the swimming pool and we had a wonderful time there to. We were with our two young kids , 4 and 6, who slept on the sofa which was big enough to accommodate both of them (but that might not work for every family...). We cannot wait to go back there, it was such a charming and enjoyable break from the city!

Thinking of leaving it all behind..

Had the best weekend staying at Blue Heron Farm !!! The perfect getaway We arrived to the gorgeous property friday morning and did not leave til we had to check out. The lake was filled with fish to catch (and put back) and the perimeter lined with trails to hike and explore in the woods. Theres even a little island in the middle of the lake with a family of beavers and the occasional fox. There's ton's of wildlife to see, all you have to do is just stop and watch. The owner, Yafa, was the loveliest host and accommodated us with everything we needed. It's rare to spend a night in a new place, and this newly renovated cottage right on the side of the lake is just perfect. The kitchen and living room are beautiful and the stove is super professional grade. perfect for cooking real meals. The bed is comfy and the view is spectacular overlooking the lake where we spent so much valued time. I really can't speak more highly of this amazing getaway. I hope this one stays a secret forever :) :) :)

A sanctuary where NYC cool meets nature's best

If you are looking for a unique and charming experience, this is your destination. I was treated to breathtaking views of the magnificent herons, right across the lake and plainly visible from the enormous window where I sat with my coffee. As a writer and editor, I found the space perfectly in tune with the work I wanted to do in the peace and quiet and beauty. The whole property has a creative touch that I found refreshing and inspiring too. The owner of Blue Heron Farm was equally enchanting as the perfect host, providing just enough interaction, making me feel right at home with gourmet refreshments on arrival in the suite of a cottage. Lake Nockamixon was so close by it was an easy jaunt over and I was able to hike over long, leisurely paths in shady, wooded areas. I didn't swim this time but could have, maybe next time. I highly recommend this magical environment for a boost to your creative side and a refreshing break.

Fantastic!

We had a wonderful time. The studio is lovely, very comfortable and well supplied. The view over the lake is just amazing with gorgeous herons and lovely grounds to walk. Our hostess was great and breakfast and the goodies she provided were delicious! Highly recommended.
