Great summer vacation

Great property in a great location just north of Harbor Springs. We had a group of 7 and our 2 pups. We had a great time. House had everything we needed. Teenage boys enjoyed the over garage apartment. Beautiful deck for relaxing and having dinner as a family. Wonderful beach. Location is convenient to plenty of other activities if the weather doesn't cooperate.

Great Location and Views

Very nice location and views. Host was great to work with and the beach was great. Such close proximity to Harbor Springs was amazing as well. The main floor was ideal for being together while the beds rooms allowed everyone to retreat to their own space. Stairs to the beach are a bit steep, but very manageable for most. The deck at the beach was amazing to sit and relax. The deck at the house gives stunning views with lots of seating. Inside is well stocked for a cottage. Great time with family.

Beautiful beachfront cottage with spectacular sunsets

Our group of 4 adults and a 3 month old enjoyed our stay immensely. We took advantage of the paddle board and kayak and also enjoyed walking the beach. The proximity to town was terrific as we made almost daily trips for food. The weather was perfect, cool at night and up in the 70's during the day.

Great beach house!

Fantastic stay for beach house. Great decks, and very accommodating house. The views are spectacular! Loved our stay. Was peaceful and fun! Hope to be back soon!

Peace and tranquility at its best

Gorgeous setting, beautiful home, soft sandy beach, just minutes from lovely Harbor Springs, and a gracious owner, this property has it all. Our experience exceeded our expectations. We are already looking forward to returning soon!

Breathtaking views

Our family stayed for the week in late September. The home had plenty of room for 6 people and the views from the deck was spectacular. The beach is private and water so clear for over a hundred yards. The home is located in a private neighborhood about 4 miles of town. Harbor Springs is a quaint little town with many wonderful shops. We even bought an original painting from one of the galleries. Looking forward to hopefully make this an annual trip.

Wonderful vacation property!

This was a great place for our family to stay. The house is roomy and well designed with comfortable furnishings and comfortable beds. The beach was great with easy access. Lovely area, lucky enough to have frequent bald eagle sightings as well!

Loved it!

It was exactly what our family wanted - away from the hustle and bustle of our daily lives. Room to watch movies, play games, and enjoy a beautiful view within 30 min of the ski slopes. Perfect!

A Terrific Property!

This property is beautiful, well furnished, clean, and comfortable! It has all the beach toys one could want and it is close to Harbor Springs. The decks are great if you aren't of a mind to go down to the beach. Julie Murphy is wonderful to work with; and, frankly, we can't wait to go back!

Amazing!

This home offers it all including the beauty of having Lake Michigan as the backdrop. The house itself is spacious and modern with lovely decorative touches that provide a feeling of warmth and comfort. It was clean and well equipped from the beach to the pantry. Julie is a very gracious owner and we so appreciate her hospitality. The location is perfect...close enough to HS, yet private enough to offer R & R. Thank so much Julie..we will be back!

Beautiful!

This is a wonderful rental. House is as described, comfortable, cozy, well kept, beautifully decorated and it has everything needed for a great stay. The view of the beach from every room and the strong sound of the waves is super relaxing. Watching the sunsets from the deck while having dinner outside was a memorable experience for me and my friends. Julie, the owner was great to work with, flexible, very responsive and provided great recommendations to fully enjoy the quaint town of Harbor Springs and make the most of our stay. I am looking forward to going back!

Magical Spot Beautiful Cottage

The cottage was exactly as described - beautiful, quiet and serene. It was wonderfully decorated with local nautical themes, and had just about any amenity you'd want. The location was superb - near the charming, elegant but low key town of Harbor Springs in one direction, and the pine and cedar filled woods (in the famous "Tunnel of Trees") heading to wilder north country in the other. The cottage and its generous deck were perched above a glorious Lake Michigan. We spend alot of time listening to the surf and watching the sialboats go by. We had the private white sand beach and swimming to ourselves. We could have been more active - paddle boards and bikes were available. At night, you could have a campfire on the beach - a rare luxury these days - and even see the Milky Way. The owner was a delight. I would unhesitatingly recommend this rental to a friend and relative. In fact, I hope we can return next year.

We are born and raised in Michigan but now reside in the Los Angeles area with our three children. We get back to our cottage as often as our schedule allows us. We love the quiet and natural beauty surrounding our home and of course the nearby private beach.
A great place to relax and get away from the daily grind.

House was originally constructed in 1999. We purchased in Sept of 2014 and are thrilled to have a home back in Michigan. Harbor Springs is a beautiful New England styled city on the banks of Little Traverse Bay with terrific restaurants and quaint shops.
Its known for its fresh air, spectacular beauty and hospitality.

A short 4 mile drive south is Petoskey which also has a great downtown area.

Northwest Lower Michigan is an outdoorsman's dream with an abundance of activities including cycling, fishing, golf, kayak, sailing, zip lining etc...

In the winter a paradise for skiers and snowboarders.
