Great location for a big group!

The location and amenities of this property are amazing, considering the price compared to many similar properties! We had a great time and enjoyed our stay in Bright.

Comfortable and well equipped

A practical house which was perfect for our family group, comfortable beds, effective heaters and a well equipped kitchen with plenty of crockery etc. Good quality dishwasher was much appreciated. Easy walk into town. Would definitely stay here again.

Great house for a group stay with friends

Reviewer Comments: Very happy with our stay here - six adults fitted perfectly well and even though some had to sleep in bunk beds, they're really solid and okay for adults. Very well equipped and setup. Pool and BBQ area is excellent as is location, Would definitely stay again!

Amazing house!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The house is amazing - much bigger than you expect and very comfortable. Has everything you need, plus pool and sensational BBQ area. The set up is perfect for large groups (we had 8 people - but you could easily and comfortably have 2 x families of 5). Back yard perfect for the dog. Great house - will stay there again.

Disappointed

Its a great location and we have stayed there before , but this time the property was unclean and had rats in BBQ area

Hi Brendan, thank you for your feedback. I apologise that the property was not as clean as you would have liked it to be, we will certainly have a chat with our cleaning team. They have been under the pump this month trying to get every property ready with January being a particularly busy month for us up here. We have contacted the owner regarding the rats in the outside BBQ area and we are getting onto this issue. Being that they are outside makes it a little bit harder and being a pet friendly property we wouldn't want to put down anything that might hurt our guests beloved pets. Great Location & Great Pool

We were able to bring our dogs and they had a big secure back yard to run around in. We enjoyed lazy days around the pool, walks into town, & barbecues in the great entertaining area. The house had everything we needed. Would love to return next Christmas if we can.

Great location - to wander into town, or walk along the river, very dog friendly, pool (very clean) was used, even though it was freezing! Very comfy beds although we couldn't get the panel heaters working. We enjoyed the spaciousness of the property, and took advantage of charging our car :). Maybe recommend an upgrade of kitchen pots/pans and utensils

spacious for the whole family

Reviewer Comments: We had a wonderful time, a few minor unforseen problems arose, but landlord was quick to rectify these issues. Friendly staff/landlord helped to make our stay at this lovely home very enjoyable. large open areas, closed in garden for our pooch and a lovely swimming pool for the kids. A short walk to river, garden and town. Perfect position. We will be back.

Lovely. You will be happy

This property is lovely. Super spacious home. Well maintained indoors and outdoors. Well equipped with kitchen and cleaning essentials. Excellent location walking distance from town. I really would have liked to give 5 stars. The mattresses on all beds are awful. If this is important to you it will matter. If not the choice is excellent. The other list star was for lighting. More than half the light globes were out. I let this go bc I did not want maintenance coming whilst caring for my ill child. I still highly recommend but cannot give five stars with 2 major comforts disturbed.

Cleanliness

I was very disappointed with how clean the house was when we arrived. I was on the understanding that it had been COVID sanitised, but, the fridge was dirty, the pantry shelves had to be wiped down which showed dirt and dust, the kitchen floor had food spots on it, most of the knives and bowls had dried an food, I think this was due to the ridiculously large dinner plates that stop the dishwasher from working properly, the Ben h had to be wiped down before use. The main bedroom was very dusty including the bed head, the small bin in the en-suite was broken, dirty and rusty, the shower caddies were dirty and rusty, the towel rail was off the wall. It would not take much to upgrade these things. I would hope that you would inspect these properties after they had been cleaned, if not I would recommend it.

I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Disappointed as we stayed here 5 years ago and saw great potential, but nothing has changed in that time. Terrible water pressure, cleaner needs to do a better job - cobwebs and dust everywhere. Garden terrible, with weeds and overgrown shrubs. Bunks beds are dangerous - 2 split heads.

Great Holiday Retreat

It is in the heart of bright, walking distance to the bright brewery and into town.Our 2 dogs loved the fully secure backyard.We even got to utilise the pool.All in all it was a great stay and we can't wait to go back.

Great Outdoors

The kitchen did not have enough glasses for the people who stayed. Dinner plates too large for dishwasher and sink. Kitchen getting old and tired. Beds and pillows uncomfortable. We have stayed at this property for over 10 years as it is a great location. Just needs a little update.
