Casita Azul with heated pool

Cute, fully updated 1931 cottage with a heated pool in Lake Worth Beach. This cottage is part of a small compound of two rentals and the owner's cottage on an oversized city lot with a heated pool. The Casita sleeps 2 and has a queen-sized bed. It shares the pool and multiple deck, outdoor dining and seating spaces with the neighboring vacation rental.

Cozy 1 bedroom / 1 bath Spanish style cottage with a shared pool, large deck and outdoor space. This cottage is at the rear of the main house and has its own private entrance and 500 square foot deck. Finished to a high standard, the cottage is just 1 block to Lucerne Ave and two blocks to the main downtown district, Publix supermarket and Starbucks. You are less than a mile to the Lake Worth public beach.

The cottage shares the pool area with Joel's Place (also on HomeAway). The owner of both properties lives in the cottage next door. All are on a fenced on a large lot. There is ample free parking on the street. There are separate lounge and dining areas, separate gas BBQ grilles for each house and free separate laundry facilities for each house. The pool is shared, but everyone has their own private space.

The inside and outdoor areas were completely remodeled in January 2024. The cottage has a full kitchen with gas stove, full-sized refrigerator and microwave. The bedroom has a queen-sized bed. There is a large flat screen smart TV with WiFi and a Comcast cable package. We keep beach umbrellas, beach towels and beach chairs for you to use as well.

The place was as advertised. All of the reviews about Roger were on the spot. I am trans and Roger made me feel welcome and was even willing to reschedule me to a different date where I would have the privacy and entire place to myself. I will be back many more times.

Perfect for Two!

Had a wonderful stay at Casita Azul. House was just perfect for me and my wife when we visited Lake Worth.We had a terrific welcome basket from the host when we arrived and the host reached out to us the following morning and gave us some Starfruit for our breakfast! Communication was wonderful The host is typically next door and is there for for as much or as little communication as you would like.This property is little over a mile from the beach and an easy walk to downtown for groceries and dining. The beach is a 2 bus fare if you don't feel like making the walk back. There is a wonderful Guatemalan bakery about 250 steps the property. Be sure to check it out.House itself has plenty of room for two but is not a place to try and squeeze in a third adult. My sister and her husband over to visit a couple of times and while there was plenty of room for dining and lounging around, there was only room for one to comfortably to cook in the kitchen. Our answer was to use the grill! There are two heated pools to choose from in the back of the property. These are shared pools between the houses but there was plenty of privacy. We never saw anyone. The door to the property is a little hidden so take care to follow the directions when you check in. Great property. I hope to rent it again!

Loved the stay. Roger was terrific planning and keeping us informed. The 2 heated pools were amazing. The place was great. Had everything we needed and wanted. Look forward to coming back again.

Hidden gem in Lake worth

Excellent location in lake Worrh walking distance to Publix and pharmacy -3 km, ocean- 2km , surrounded by restaurants and easy access to I 95.

A Hidden Paradise!

My husband and I were fortunate to be able to stay at Casita Azul for 8 days. It had everything we needed for a blissful, sun-filled, laid back vacation. Between the two pools, many lounging areas and gorgeous landscaping, our biggest decision was whether we wanted the sun or the shade! Roger was the perfect host and provided everything we needed during our stay. He even brought us a gift of fresh tortillas that were still warm from a local vendor! All the restaurants and things to do that Roger recommended were spot on as well. He really is the BEST. We are already talking about when we can return to Casita Azul! Thanks, Roger, for everything!

Great stay in Lake Worth Beach

Great location, very close to the beach which has ample parking. The kids really enjoyed the pools. Roger was friendly and had plenty of good tips during our stay.

Short stay

We had a short stay and we will be back again. Roger our host was one of the nicest owners we have ever had contact with, he made our short stay very special. The cottage was clean and comfortable for my family and I. We used the pool and for dinner took Rogers recommendation and had a great time.

Best birthday ever!!!!

This place is one of the best most accurate places I’ve ever stayed at. The host rodger was amazing. More than amazing. He provided everything for me and my boyfriend. I had the best birthday, and the location is so close to everything. I even walked to downtown and Publix!!! I wish I lived here myself. Thank you Rodger. You will be seeing us again in July! No complaints. No problems.

Could not ask for better place, its a paradise!

This place is just wonderful! We are a family of four, our 2 daughters 6 and 8 years old just loved the place and the pools (so did we). Roger is a wonderful host, he had many good tips for what there is in the area to do and he is so genuinely nice. Ther is a railroad close to the property, but in our opinion that just added some more exitment. We did not think it was disturbing at all. you will not find any more cosy and better place like this. There is a Publix supermarket close by and some nice restaurants. If you look in to this add and the place is available for your desired dates, then dont waste more time by looking further, This is the place to stay at! We are so happy and grateful to have stayed here. Thank you Roger for all that you have done to make our stay the best!

Perfect Location

We absolutely loved Casita Azul. Our main reason for visiting the area was to attend Nationals spring training and the location of the house was ideal, about 15 minutes from the ballpark. The casita itself was the perfect size for my husband and myself. We used the covered outdoor seating area every evening. The pools were inviting and refreshing. We enjoyed being able to walk to the grocery store and to the beach. My husband found a gym within a 5 minute walk and was able to keep up his fitness routine. Lake Worth has a thriving downtown area with many restaurants and bars, all within easy walking distance of the casita. Roger was always available to answer questions and provide recommendations on restaurants and activities. We will return in 2024

An Excellent Escape

What an awesome property! Roger and his people really go out of their way to make you feel at home. Very cool Key West vibe. Walking distance to great food, entertainment, and the beach. The pools are very comfortable and heated. One pool has full sun and the other has partial sun, so you have options. The cats are super cool and very friendly. We really did not want to leave.

A lovely little oasis

I booked myself at Casita Azul for a few days of r&r after several chaotic months. The property owners are awesome, the space is immaculate, its quaint and cute and the landscaping feels like a little jungle bungalow. The access to both pools, nearby amenities, all of it. 10/10 will rebook. Thanks again guys!

Roger is the Chef's Kiss of VRBO hosts. Anything you want - from food to experiences, he has a recommendation for. Casita Azul was pristine. The pools were wonderful after a day at the beach! Roger had a snack basket waiting for my visit - which my kids loved!!! You can walk to the beach or drive - we did both! The town of Lake Worth has so much history, culture and art - I don't know that I will ever want to visit anywhere else in Florida. Beaches were beautiful, NOT CROWDED at all. My five year old gave it a One million out of ten review. I agree! We haven't even left the airport and I am looking at dates to book another visit!

Best vacation! (Getaway for my wife)

This was by far the best vacation! My only drawback was that I didn’t have more time to spend there. The location was great! My husband had rented it for my daughter and I to spend some time together and see an old girlfriend of mine that lives there. Roger was so gracious and provided everything that we needed! So amazing

I was meeting a friend down in Florida and we came across Roger’s “casita azul”. How lucky we were. Just beautiful. Two outdoor pools, both heated, very secluded. Beds so comfortable and Roger even provided us with a fruit basket, and all the supplies needed for a beach day. I can’t wait to plan another trip to this hidden treasure. 5/5 stars.

I'm Roger and have been hosting guests here in Lake Worth Beach for more than 10 years. I live on site in my own cottage adjacent to the rentals. I am here to help with tips on where to go, what to do and great places to eat. I have a second home in a castle in Germany and travel there from time to time. I speak English, German, Spanish and a bit of Dutch.

The rentals are within a short two to three block walk of everything Lake Worth Beach offers: grocery store, post office, coffee houses, restaurants, art theater, playhouse, live music venues and bars. The beach is a 20 minute walk or five minute bus ride away.
