Welcome to Westhampton Beach NY, an ideal location to hit the beach, visit local wineries, attend a wedding or stroll down Main Street. Bayfield Lane is centrally located to all of the above. We are down the street from Westhampton Country Club, 1 mile from Oceanblue, 15 mins from Riverhead and 20-25 mins from the wineries. Please note the age of the primary renter needs to be 30 years or older. The house is in a quiet residential neighborhood. and is best suited for families We do not allow parties.

Family Thanksgiving

This was the perfect house for our family. The first-floor living made it accessible for our senior family members. There was plenty of space, and we found a local caterer for dinner. The weather was great so that the kids could play in the yard. The host was responsive and very accommodating. We plan on coming back!

Homely Westhampton accomodation

Lovely huge house with an old feel that has lots of seperate sleeping and living areas. Great for big families and extended family. Woke up to see beautiful deer roaming in the garden and squirrels in the hedges. Beautiful neighbourhood. Owner was very helpful and quickly helped out with any requests.

Nostalgia galore!

Stepping back in time to Westhampton in the 1950s would normally be impossible, but at Chris’ house, it’s a dream come true! You truly felt like you were apart of the family, which is a rarity at rental homes. Our group enjoyed all the lounge space which enabled us to just relax and be in the moment, despite being connected with excellent wi-fi! There were plenty of bathrooms and all the supplies that are needed, ie toilet paper, towels, etc. The proximity to town was perfect. Nice little walk to get coffee and in the other direction, the beach (both about a mile). Easy and flexible with check-in and check-out. Will definitely make this an annual, if not, bi-annual trip!

I would recommend this home for a group get away.

This home was exactly what was needed for our group. There was more than enough rooms and beds for everyone and the neighborhood was beautiful.

Awesome Location, Great for big family group

The location of the house truly could not be better and the layout is perfect for a big family group! It is a very quick walk to town, and walkable to the beach (or a very easy drive). The house is clearly set up for a big family to enjoy and spend time together, which is exactly what we did! Plenty of beds and bathrooms, and the kitching and dining spaces are great for a big group. The house is dated but very charming and again, for the location, it's just unbeatable. The yard is well maintained and huge - a great space for outdoor fun! Chris was very communicative and accommodating, and provided us with all the information we needed to make our stay easy and fun. We would definitely go back!

Great location, tons of space

This house has lots of character. It’s an older and beautiful house. A little dated but that adds to the character and perfect for us. Fun to look at the pictures. Loads of space, rooms, beds. Lots of gathering places or places to chill by yourself. There were 8 of us but could easily fit many more. Location was perfect. You could easily walk into town for coffee or shopping. Country club right there. The beach was very close. We saw deer in the yard every day and night. Loved the side screened porch…our favorite room to hang all times of day or night. I could have lived on the porch. I can’t say enough about the owner as he was so nice and quick to respond to any questions.

A fabulous home that is very well maintained and the hosts are just a lovely family very.

Great family fall weekend stay

My family of 5 (including 3 young children) thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this huge, rambling home. The location and proximity to the beach and town are amazing! The house is old and dated as the owner noted in the description but very comfortable and great for our family. The owner was very responsive and flexible. We would definitely return!

Great for big groups,

There were 14 of us who came for the weekend. The house was just perfect for us and had a lot of character. There was plenty of room for everyone and loved there were 2 porches. All the essentials were provided for us and it was nice we were close to the beach. It was about a 10 min drive or about 20 min walk. We would all gladly stay here again!!

Comfortable, Clean, Large Home

Our group came to the home for a graduation party. There were 13 of us all over the age of 25. This house was amazing for our large group! There are a lot of areas to hang out with the dining room, 2 porches and the living room, or to get away if you want to have a more intimate conversation. The house is a bit of a maze but our group thought that was a characteristic and fun touch! Chris provided towels, kitchen essentials, lots of dishes and even games. It is older and well loved, but it was perfect for our large group with all the social areas, bathrooms and enormous yard. Thank you for hosting us!

Cozy, clean, quiet getaway

I hosted my best friend’s bachelorette weekend here in April 2018. The house was exactly what we needed! Linens and kitchen supplies were plenty. Everything was clean. Super homey atmosphere! It is an older home that needs to be handled with a bit of a gentler touch but amazing nonetheless! Still had great WiFi. Didn’t need to touch the TV but there were a few throughout the house in the event we wanted to. Plenty of bathrooms for a group of ten women. Chris responded to all of my questions super quickly. I highly recommend this property!

Ideal for Wedding or Big Party

My friends and I rented the house for a friends' wedding and could not have been happier. While the house is old, it is perfect for a large group – plenty of beds and bathrooms; large lawn; spacious and comfortable. The property is walkable to town and the beach, so a car is not necessary. The owner of the property was also easy to work with – he was friendly, responsive, organized and accommodating. I would gladly stay here again!

Happy Family Wedding Party

We rented this big older house for the occasion of my son's wedding at a Dune Road Venue, only 1.3miles it was very convenient. The house is full of character and loads of personal touches. House was clean with ample supplies to start our visit. Bathrooms are dated but all worked and water pressure was great! The two enclosed porches served the large crowd with different conversations. Beautiful grounds and circular drive made entry/egress easy. The owner was flexible, cooperative and attentive to our needs and requests. A great house!

And by that I mean BLEACH. The house is large and has the potential of being lovely; however, the first thing I noticed was the moldy fridge. The house must have suffered during Sandy because there is a mold odor throughout. Way too much dust. Had to take benadryl to make it through the night. Could use a mattress upgrade. And honestly, some of the baths could have used a scrub--which I gave mine with bleach.

Great location and very responsive and accommodating host

Chris was very quick to respond to any inquiries we had, was flexible on check-in/check-out time and the home was clean and as advertised. No issues with getting in or leaving and the location was perfect for our needs - walking distance to both the wedding reception site and town.

Great Weekend Stay!

I rented this house for a weekend with friends that participated in a charity event in Westhampton. The house was great, extremely large with plenty of beds and bathrooms. The house and rooms are much larger than we expected, and it seemed like with every turn we made, another room popped out of nowhere. It reminded me of an old cottage bed and breakfast with great character, and so many separate wings of the house with their own doors and porches. The location was great, right at the top of Jessup Lane, seconds away from town while still making the beaches and Dune Rd. easily accessible. The property is very large with a huge yard and circle driveway, making it a great place to gather to spend time on the lawn, and easily and conveniently maneuver cars. The owner was extremely nice and easy to get ahold of, and was happy to accommodate any requests that I had. When I had an issue with VRBO, he was happy to help me straighten it out without me having to worry that my reservation may be canceled and my party left out to dry. All linens were provided as well as essentials such as paper towel and toilet paper. It was a great experience and the owner couldn't have been nicer and interested in making sure we had the best stay possible. I would absolutely stay here again, and will definitely check to see if the house is available next time I am in Westhampton.

Grandma's House

Everything was great. Owner was very attentive to our special requests before arriving. Overall it very much felt like a trip to Grandmas lol. The house isn't recently updated but the place is very clean and fully stocked unlike a lot of places that leave you with 1 roll of paper towels. And it's much much bigger than the pictures suggest. We went with a group of 12 and there was extra space. No need to cram 3 into a king bed. Would definitively stay here again when I come out to Westhampton.

Great experience!

We rented the house for my friend's wedding weekend out in Westhampton Beach and had a great experience! The owners were extremely responsive and so easy to work with. A couple of my friends who were in the wedding were arriving in town early, and the owner was so flexible with allowing them in earlier than anticipated. The house had plenty of room for a big group, and everyone got their own space. We even left a couple of items at the house and the owners immediately reached out and offered their help in getting them back to us.

Perfect Westhampton Getaway

First and foremost, the owner of this rental was a pleasure to work with. He was responsive to all my questions in a very timely manner and flexible with our group's plans. The house was perfect for our group of 12 adults. Our weekend was a reunion of sorts, as we would do weekend trips alot when we were in our 20's, and now 30 years later, we shared a few fun-filled days together once again. We actually spoke about doing this again, next year, at the same house! The charming house was equipped with everything we could possibly need. There were enough dishes, glasses, pots and pans for all our needs, with plenty to spare! The beds were beautifully made up with lovely quilts upstairs. It's a huge relief to not have to worry about towels or linens when planning a trip! They also stocked the house with enough paper products so we didn't have worry about that either! Another plus about this house is that it is filled with many different sitting areas. Some can enjoy the breeze on the screened-in porch, while others can watch TV in the living room! The location is ideal! We all brought bikes with us. Some enjoyed a ride down to the beautiful beaches on Dune Road, others took a ride into town to window-shop. We were lucky enough that the weather cooperated and we were able to soak up the last bit of summer at the local beach! The beaches in Westhampton are absolutely stunning! Again, the owner was a delight to work with! It can get a bit stressful when planning a getaway for a group, but he made it so easy!
