Mountainback #71 is a quiet and cozy unit and its interior design gives off a cabin feel! Has secured wifi and all the comforts of home

Maximum Occupancy: Can sleep up to 6 people!

Bed Arrangement: Master bedroom houses a queen bed while the second bedroom has a queen bed and a single over double bunk bed (perfect for children and adults)! The living room has an L-shaped sofa that can serve as an extra sleeper.

Unit Amenities: The beautiful and newly upgraded kitchen with new tiles and appliances is fully stocked for your cooking pleasure! A washer and dryer are available for use as well. The unit also includes a large stone-faced propane fireplace, dining room table that seats 6, and a flatscreen TV, DVD player, VCR, and stereo w/ cd player. Now has secured WIFI in the unit!

Walking distance to Canyon Lodge perfect for skiing/snowboarding in the winter and hiking/biking in the summer!

The premises has 6 jacuzzis and 1 swimming pool open in the summer with bbq area!

Maximum 2 vehicles. One assigned underground parking space (7’ Clearance). Second space is first come first serve.

Comfortable and close to the mountain

Perfect place, close to canyon and more than enough space for our family. so great - we extended our stay! We will be back!

Needs to be upgraded. Don’t stay here

Rating Details: The property manager was adequately helpful. The vacation rental was somewhat dirty. I was somewhat unhappy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This condo was dusty upon entering. We had no hot water in the first day and very quickly was repaired. Water heater needed new elements. While the plumber was there, he also found the kitchen facet was ready to fall off. Then the living room TV did not work. The master bedroom TV worked but no remote so we changed channels and volume on the side of tv. Very disappointed with our choice to stay here. Marilou in the office was very kind and helped us get some of these problems resolved quickly.

Elizabeth, what a bogus review! First of all, we tried walking you through all the issues you were having. You were the one freaking out about Covid 19 and we provided you with a bleach spray and plenty of dish towels. To this day we don't understand people freaking out about Covid 19 but choose to travel! Then the TV was and is working fine, YOU did not know which input to put on. That is common sense and we cannot help you with that. The only valid issue was the hot water heater which a plumber came out within an hour of you reporting this to the office. Our manager even went into the unit (masked up) just to put the TV on the correct input. We are glad as a business we have the right to refuse your business and we are glad to have this platform to explain our side of the story. All these complaints came in within a few hours of check in so we know when this happens, customers are just looking for reasons to be unhappy. As you've indicated, our staff reacted to all your issues in a timely fashion with resolve.

Great location, lots of space

Stay was super comfortable and spacious. Had mostly all utensils for 6, but one thing that was not available was a remote for the tv and the dvd/bd player. We had a dvd we wanted to watch but could not play it beyond the main menu. Also, the TV we had to switch channels at the tv because there was no compatible remote. Other than that, everything else was great.

Clean, cozy, plenty of space, close to Canyon Lodge

No problem to access after hours, good instructions, received preliminary call from management office. Unit was clean, everything was provided, including additional towels (we had to buy additional paper towels, toilet paper, dishwashing sponge). The only issue we encountered (and it was mentioned in the previous reviews) that wi-fi password didn't work. We were able to reset the router. Also spa near the building stopped working last two evenings, had to go to the next building.

Great location! Clean and comfy!!!

The unit is nicely furnished, clean, cozy and comfy! The only thing I hope it had was an outdoor/patio grill, but overall we enjoyed our stay very much!!! Thank you :)

Thank you for your review! There is a common area grill by the pool area for your use. Owners tend to opt out on grills due to the firewood inventory.

Great location; Spacious

Condo served our family well. Great location to ski from Canyon Lodge. Furnishings are a bit dated. Overall, the space and location would bring us back.

Great property. No WiFi password.

Great location and nice property. Good value and had a great time. Saw the missing WiFi password in a previous review and still a problem. Wasn't in either of the locations that the check-in material said it should be in. Call for the password wasn't returned. Was able to log into the old router with poor security and get the password. Not a good choice if you need WiFi when you check in, but great otherwise.

Great location, dated but clean, functional, and nice

This unit worked well for our needs. We brought two kids and the bunk was a hit for them. The kitchen, bathrooms, and heating were all good. Beds were comfortable. The decor and furnishings all function, but are from a few decades ago (i.e. VHS tapes and cassette player). The Wifi password given by the office never worked and the front desk was only open while we were snowboarding during the day. We weren’t here for the WiFi so it wasn’t a big deal.

Spacious 2 bedroom place with large living area

Place was easily accessible from garage - just 1 flight of stairs. Living room was very spacious for 1 large family or 2 small families. Kitchen was well stocked with plates and pans. View from balcony and living room- not stunning but was nice to have a lot of light in the place

One of the best units at mountainback

Have stayed in Mammoth innumerable times. Have stayed at mound back many times as well. This was probably the nicest unit we've stayed in at Mountainback. Well-equipped. Comfortable living room. Only one negative comment, and it's very minor, they had a lot of knives to cook with, but they were all incredibly dull. Need to get a knife sharpener in there
