Sea View 2 | Pet Friendly, Large Unit, Near Beach!

Sea View 2 is a large one-bedroom, one-bath apartment in a great location! Enjoy more space to spread out with 900 square feet of living space. Located on the ground level of a historic Tybee building with ocean views from the shared furnished porch. Located just four houses back from the beach and within two blocks of restaurants, shops, nightlife, and the Tybee Pier.

The living area has a Queen sleeper sofa and a large flat-screen TV. The kitchen is fully equipped, and there is table seating for 4. The bedroom is located off the kitchen and is furnished with a King size bed, a flat-screen TV, and a twin bed. The attached bathroom has a walk-in shower (no tub). There is wireless internet available for guest use.

PLEASE NOTE: Stand-Up Shower Only in Bathroom (No Tubs), 1 Reserved Parking Place is provided. You must walk up 3 steps to reach this level.

This Historic Sea View Apartment building was originally built in 1924 and is listed in the National Register of Historic Places. Each Unit includes the use of shared amenities that include: Two levels of large furnished porches for guests to enjoy the ocean breezes. The top-level porch features a nice ocean view. Rinse off after a day at the beach in one of two enclosed outdoor showers, a great amenity, especially for families. In the backyard, there is a patio with Gas Grill and seating available for guest use and a shared laundry room. All units feature WIFI access and Satellite TV.

Perfect getaway in prime location

We are super thrilled with our choice to book here. It’s very convenient to restaurants and shops but not in the hustle and bustle. The porch is the perfect sitting porch for coffee or wine. The layout is very nice. The updates are very nice while respecting the historic value of the apartment building. My favorite aspects were the super comfy bed, the shower, and the kitchen. Look forward to booking again!

Steps to the beach

Pretty condo, especially the bedroom with nook. Kitchen is spacious and well equipped. It is truly just steps away from the beach, both ocean and river. Located far enough from noisy nightlife but close for a stroll to shops and restaurants. Only small complaint: the windows needed desperately washed. Pet friendly, but no dogs (pets) allowed on beach or pier.

Vacation

We had a great time. This is literally steps from the beach. It was very clean and just as pictured. We enjoyed sitting on the porch on the rocking chairs and relaxing. We will definitely come back!

Charming and Easy

We had a delightful stay. The walk to the beach was close and easy and the rocking chairs on the covered front porch were the perfect place to relax the afternoon we had a little rain. Plenty of cooking equipment and dishes, but we had to purchase seasonings for our steaks and coffee filters. The ONLY "food" was salt and pepper. The renovations in this very old building are lovely - the bathroom has been nicely designed. There is a tiny step down from the main bed to the bathroom which is a bit challenging in the middle of the night, and the noise of people moving around in the unit above us was significant - and they weren't partying. The coffee pot was broken and we didn't receive a response from our email - but did have a replacement a few hours after making a call the following morning. Overall - loved the place and it's a great deal - plenty of towels, very clean, complimentary detergent and softener for the washing machine, a deck of card, puzzles and a great selection of books.

Wonderful place!

This is a beautiful older property completely renovated inside just steps from the beach . The property was immaculate. The large porch was nice in the evenings, there is a patio for outdoor seating, and the history of the place made the property a special place to stay. We have already recommended this property to family and intend to return in the spring.

Quick Nice Stay

We enjoyed our time at the apartment. It got a bit noisy at night with the parties and people walking around, but we expected that and didn't bother us. The apartment was nice, your kitchen was stocked real nice and everything was clean.

Clean & convenient to everything!

The property was old, but clean & the kitchen was well stocked. There was no ice maker or ice trays, so you’ll have to bring ice. Otherwise, we enjoyed our stay & the convenience to the restaurants & shops. We would rent this unit in the future.

It is what they say it is.

Great property and good proximity to the beach, restaurants, etc... As a critique, the parking is tight, barely enough room to get a mid-sized suv in place unless you get parking place #1. The floors are unlevel due to settling. Other than that, it was great! We had a great time. Front porch is roomy and oriented so that the sun never gets in your eyes. The king sized bed was very comfortable (best night's sleep in a while). We would stay here again and recommend it to anyone who is looking for a 1-bedroom suite.

Great location!

The property was not fancy but it was clean and quiet. The neighbors were friendly and we felt right at home. The worst part was leaving. We will try to book it again.

Great place to stay in South Tybee. Close to restaurants and shops. House is four houses from beach access. House is old and maintained. House originally built 1920s with uneven floors that may be an issues for some. Called about shower head not working and they responded within 2 hours. Reported a couple issues with toilet and fan, hopefully taken care of before next guest.

Quiet and relaxing and near the beach and restaurants.

Would have loved to be able to walk my dog on the beach on leash but very strict about pets on beach. Loved the place... reminded me of my grandmothers only updated and less clutter!!
