The “Redhead Tom” log cabin, a beautifully restored mountain dwelling dating from the early nineteenth century. Spend cozy evenings next to the woodstove after hiking the trails of the Big Ivy section of Pisgah National Forest. The cabin is set under shade trees overlooking a meadow that joins the forest. You can relax on the porch and listen to the mountain stream at the edge of the farm. We also have a bungalow that sleeps at least 6 and can host events such as workshops or retreats if you want to share your visit with family and friends. Our event space is a separate building with lots of possibilities for your group event. Bring your boots, fishing pole, mountain bike, horses, dogs and kids - whatever makes this visit the best it can be. We are at the farm next door to help with anything you might need.

If you would like to schedule an event here we have a 1000 square foot open space that can accommodate classes, workshops, catered meals for groups. The farmhouse on the property can be booked along with the cabin to accommodate more of your group and we have other rentals very nearby we can refer you to if you fill our spaces.
