Beautiful Vermont Lake House on Lake Morey

Experience the best of Vermont lake front properties at beautiful Lake Morey! This spring fed lake offers crystal clear waters where guests can enjoy summertime activities such as fishing, boating, water sports, canoeing, kayaking, bird watching, golfing, tennis, hiking, biking, and so much more! In the winter, don't forget your skates! Lake Morey has an incredible 4.5 miles skate trail. Skate rentals are also available at The Lake Morey Resort which is a five-minute walk. Winter sports also include pond hockey, ice fishing, cross-country skiing and snowmobiling. This is the perfect place to create lasting memories with friends and family in picturesque rural Vermont. Fire up the grill and have dinner on the wrap around deck and the corner gazebo, while you watch the extraordinary sunsets over the backdrop of Eagle's Bluff and Echo Mountain. Watch the eagles and falcons soar by day and listen to the loon's calling at dusk!

Camp Tellmar is located directly on the waters edge with it's own private boat dock and raft. The house contains 4 bedrooms, 2 full bathrooms and sleeps 10 people. Linens and towels are provided.

If you enjoy golf, the Lake Morey Country Club is just a short stroll away (about a 5-minute walk). During the summer months the Lake Morey Resort hosts free summer concert series on Thursday nights on the green.

There are two adult kayaks, and two kids kayaks for your enjoyment.

There is a gas grill on the deck for your use. Propane provided.

Outdoor fire pit by the edge of the lake. Firewood can be purchased at a nearby store.

Air conditioning throughout the home.

Washer and dryer for your use.

3 car maximum (parking is very tight)

House was very comfortable and beautifully decorated. Very clean and in a great location and great deck to just sit and relax and listen to the loons. Being elderly the steps down were a little difficult especially with luggage but once inside well worth it. Would definitely go again.

Amazing home! Well stocked with beautiful view of Lake Morey. Covered porch and great chairs on the dock to watch the sun go down and enjoy cocktails. Great time. Can't wait to go back.

Perfect spot on the lake

We had such a great time at this rental. It was in a perfect location, had everything you'd need and fit the bill for a relaxing family weekend on a lake. The hosts were super responsive, flexible, and easy to deal with.

We had a wonderful time at this lake house, more than enough space for 4 adults and so convenient to the Lake Morley Resort wedding we attended --could walk to all the festivities. The house is ideally located to capture the sunrise and sunsets on the lake, with great outdoor spaces for relaxing with coffee or a glass of wine. It is a nice 5 mile walk/jog around the lake.Great communications with the owner in terms of the check in and out process.

Our stay was great! Outdoor space for dining and relaxing was especially nice. Owner was wonderful and accommodating, which was so appreciated. Location is great - but parking is a bit tricky (seems like whole lake has tricky parking with steep ledges and hills). We had two trucks and had to work to get them in the right space and not blocking the road. Overall, tranquil and very nice place - as advertised!Thank you!

Great lake front home!

My family had a wonderful time ringing in the New Year in this beautiful spot on Lake Morey. The home was warm and cozy, the host was communicative and accommodating, and the area was just gorgeous. We would definitely consider coming back to enjoy other seasons at this home!

Winter wonderland

Lake Morey is an absolute gem, I can't wait to get back! Perfect getaway rental for winter or summer. No reason to leave as there are plenty of activities for all ages right at the house.

The owners are fabulous and so happy to provide everything you need! The house and property are lovingly maintained and were perfect for our family trip of kayaking, hiking, visiting some local farms and just generally unplugging. We will definitely be back!

Fab place by the lake!

The property exceeded our expectations. It was right on the lake; the house was beautiful, well equipped and lots of space on the veranda to take in the view, use the barbecue and take out the kayaks! Couldn’t ask for better!

Gorgeous Lake Morey Cabin

Our family stayed at Camp Tellmar during Thanksgiving week so we could be near other family in Fairlee. The house was exactly as listed and more. The house is right on the lake and provided us gorgeous views, especially during our first snow of the season. The beds were comfortable and the kitchen was very well-stocked. The perfect place for a family!

A Hidden Gen on Lake Morey

Mike’s place is absolutely perfect for a family getaway. The pictures don’t really do justice to how pretty and well kept this property is. We rented this property for a family get together for New Years, and can’t wait to visit the property again in the summer when water activities will be possible as well.

Perfect Winter Getaway

Our family absolutely loved this home. Warm, cozy, comfortable with amazing Views of the lake and mountains. It is even nicer than the pictures. The owners have thought of everything to make our stay so easy and convenient. They could not have been more accommodating, helpful or considerate. We had a wonderful family getaway and plan to return next year.

Cozy Cabin at Lake Morey

Peaceful stay at Lake Morey during Dartmouth graduation weekend. Great location for those traveling with family who want a getaway for quality downtime between events. Easy 15 minute drive to Hanover. Fantastic deck, BBQ, firepit and dock and access to kayaks and rowboat for outdoor fun. Comfy "lodge"-like cabin had plenty of space for our family of 5 (all adults). Mike was a fantastic, communicative host!

bucolic lacustrine paradise

We stayed 3 lovely, though somewhat rainy days on Lake Morey. It was a lovely setting. The house was well equipped and accommodated our small troop of 6 very comfortably. The beds were comfortable, plenty of towels, and the kitchen had everything we needed. Thanks for sharing your lovely home and we plan to return for another stay .... hopefully with more sunshine on the next trip.

Long Weekend on Lake Morey

A fabulous visit! Mike reached out ahead of our visit and made the check in/out very smooth. His family property is perfectly situated on Lake Morey. Morning coffee on the deck was complimented each day by two families of loons who stopped by to check in. Property had a/c for the surprisingly hot days and was extremely comfortable. Will be back!

Wedding Weekend

We stayed for three nights. It was fantastic and we will definitely stay again. We were attending our nephews wedding at Lake Morey Resort. The lodge is close enough to walk to resort. Close to resort golf course where we played 18. Lucky enough to have beautiful weather last weekend in September. We drank our late morning coffee in the chairs on the dock. Our nephews used the kayaks on the lake. Bedrooms were great size. There were 5 adults and two teenagers. The two bathrooms were perfect. This is a great lakefront property to spend a vacation

Birthday getaway with family

Our long weekend was January 13 - 16th. It was my wife's 65th birthday and we wanted to celebrate with the family. There was 9 adults and our 8 yr. old Granddaughter. The house was perfect for accommodating all. We played games and had great conversations sitting near the gas fireplace. The views from the living room and the Master bedroom are fabulous. We took a hike up the traiI across the lake to some beautiful waterfalls. I thoroughly enjoyed working with Mike, by the time our weekend rolled around I felt like I knew Mike well enough to invite him over for cake and ice cream. Thank you very much Mike for a great weekend. I can just imagine how beautiful it must be during the summer months. Thanks again..

Beautiful setting and cozy home!

The lake house was just as it should be. Loved the coziness of the home, and loved that it had separate rooms yet everyone felt very included no matter where you were in the house. The kitchen was well-stocked. The bathrooms were clean and the dated design added to the "lakehouse" vibe. We had hoped to ice skate on the lake but enjoyed kayaking instead. It was a very unseasonably warm December. My kids said they loved the area as it felt like a fairy tale setting but also a ghost story at the same time because our days were filled with mist and fog over the lake and hills. There are cute towns nearby to shop or eat as well. The host was very attentive both before and during our stay. We had all the information we needed, check-in was very simple, and he responded rapidly to any questions. It's definitely on our short list for get-away destinations be it summer or winter.

Such a gem

We were staying here for a Tuck/Dartmouth reunion. It was a mix of adults and 4 kids (ages 5-8). We LOVED this spot. It's super easy to get to, right off the highway but felt really secluded and special. Each morning the lake was foggy and it would slowly lift to reveal the hills around the lake in gorgeous fall colors. The cabin itself is so cozy. There is a gas fireplace (super easy to use) and a firepit outside with plenty of chairs. I prefer to stay in VRBOs that are actually used by families (not sparse and cold) and this clearly is loved and used by the owners family. The kitchen had tons of pots and pans, spices, sugar, any basics you would need. Light switches are well labeled and their guest binder had all the info we needed. Wifi was fast. When we needed to communicate with the owner it was easy and prompt via the VRBO app or text. Overall we had such a great time. The cabin was wonderful and we felt really lucky to stay there during such a gorgeous time of year (mid-Oct). Thank you!

Winter Birthday Getaway

Our trip to celebrate my Dad, daughter, and sons January Birthdays was great! The house was exactly as pictured and so neat with the antique decor. Mike was very nice, communicative, and the process of renting the home was easy. We rented the house to go ice skating on morey lake which unfortunately was not possible due to the weather. We had it all in terms of weather, rain, a blizzard, a rainbow, and sunshine. We even had a 10 hour power outage which I’ve heard is very unusual. One recommendation would be to add hurricane lamps, flashlights, and consider a generator in case of future issues. Thankfully my father, a retired marine of 27 years came equipped with a lot in his truck. Despite the power outage we had a fantastic time. We went to the science museum during this time which the kids loved. The house is special and on the second day of our trip it snowed and we couldn’t have asked for more roasting marshmallows on the fire pit outside with the spectacular view of the lake and mountains and getting warmed up by the fireplace inside. We will definitely be renting again in the future!

Feels Like a Great Family Lake House - Filled With Memories

We (3 couples) were attending a wedding a few doors down from this property, and decided to stay here for the location, views, comfort, and setup. It delivered all around! You can really tell that the owners put a good amount of love and care into this property. It feels like a good friend is sharing their family lake house with you. We thoroughly enjoyed the dock, swimming, views, waterfront, fire pit, grill and house. We would definitely come back.
