Comfortable family lake house with tennis court and private beach

Large comfortable family house located on a quiet dirt road with access to sandy lakefront beach and walking trails. The house includes a large living room with a fireplace and grand piano, a spacious dining room, tons of puzzles, games, books, etc, and a fully equipped kitchen with everything you need to cook for a crowd. The property features a short walking trail, tennis court, basketball hoop, fire pit, a barn with pool table, foosball, ping pong, and a variety of lawn games. The family beach (shared between 2 households) offers views of Mt. Cube as well as canoes, kayaks, rafts and plenty of beach toys. Nothing too fussy or fancy- this is the perfect place for a fun family vacation, reunion, work retreat or adventure base. The location offers easy access to the White Mountains and the Appalachian Trail (1.5 miles down the road) and is within reach of many hiking, biking, cross country and downhill ski destinations. The house is on a quiet, dead-end, dirt road, perfect for dog walks, kids on bikes, and birding. This place is also dog friendly. NOTE: This house shares a 20 acre property with another separate rental house. This rental is used only sporadically, but we can’t guarantee it will not be in use during your stay. For more information, please contact the host. Also, while this house has high-speed internet available to guests, there is NO tv or entertainment system, and the area we live in does not have cell service. (We hope you enjoy the opportunity to disconnect!)

Our stay was just perfect for the whole family with so many activities available to the group.

The house is wonderful and the host has thought of everything to complete the stay. The location and access to the water along with boats and other activities completed the stay.

Perfect NH stay

The house was beautiful and cozy as the pictures show. It was also very well stocked with three full bedrooms each with private bathrooms. We had an amazing stay hiking/skiing nearby during the day and relaxing at the house at night!

Wonderful escape to the country

This lovely home was perfect for our stay. The owners—who are friendly and live just down the road—have done a lot to make sure the house is comfortable and enjoyable: • dozens of board games • dozens of jigsaw puzzles • LOTS of books • a piano • a fireplace • 2 firepits • multiple boats/kayaks/canoes/paddle boards • a well-stocked kitchen with pretty much every kitchen gadget, utensil, and dish/cookware you could need Highly recommended!

Fun for the whole family

This is such a great property! Perfect spot for a family vacation with plenty of opportunities for every age to have fun, relax and create great memories. We were amazed by the beauty of surrounding forest and the fall colors. We will hapilly return to continue our exploration of New England.

Beautiful retreat at a perfect location, amazing hosts!

The house is spacious, beautiful, and has everything you could want (games, cookware, towels, everything. Communicating with property manager was perfect and the setting cannot be beat! If you are looking for a beautiful spacious family home, set in the gorgeous forest land of NH, with all the things you could want, this is your place. We will be back!

Cabin getaway!

Our group came to NH/VT for a hockey tournament and it ended up getting cancelled - we had so much fun relaxing at the cabin with all the puzzles, books, vintage record player, grand piano, cozy fireplace. It was lovely. A little bit aways from town so get provisions for your stay (groceries, coffee, etc) and not very good cell service. Other than that we had such a fun time, so picturesque

Fun time despite the weather

Our property manager checked in prior to our staying to make sure we had all our questions answered which was great. Even thought we brought all our own stuff the home was well stocked with kitchen needs. The privacy was amazing and the pond was beautiful even though we didn't get to go on it due to weather. We took a few walks on the road. We played in the barn a part of the afternoon to do pool, foosball, and pingpong that got us through the weather. We hope to return some day in the future. Fun and Relaxing Stay in a Beautiful Location!

My husband and I stayed at this property with our friends the weekend of the total solar eclipse and had an amazing time! Since we were traveling in early April, I knew there wouldn’t be as many outdoorsy activities to do in the area, so I wanted to stay somewhere with indoor activities available. This property was exactly what I was looking for and more! We enjoyed hanging out in the barn with ping pong, foosball, and pool, plus the many board games and piano in the house. The WiFi was fast and reliable, making it easy to stay connected (if needed) in an area that has no cell service. Walking across the road gives you access to an absolutely gorgeous view of water and mountains, no matter what the season. I’d love to visit again in the summer to make more use of the beach and basketball court. There is no shortage of activities and beautiful nature to explore at this property! This is a wonderful place to stay with a group of friends or family. Each bedroom has its own bathroom, which is a big plus. The only suggestion I have is to make sure to time your showers because I did run out of hot water a couple times while showering, but I think my friends had showered just before me. Otherwise everything was absolutely perfect! Deva was an excellent host, communicating with me ahead of our stay to make sure the driveway was plowed in time for our arrival and gave clear instructions on how to get there. Would definitely recommend this property and hope to visit again!
