We have A private Inlaw suite/ studio apartment separate from the main house. I live in the main house. The house sits on an acre of land with an inground pool and a fire pit that get our guest may use. Weather permitting!!!

You are renting the private studio Not the entire house. The studio has a queen size bed that sleeps 2 and I can set up a bed height queen size air mattress for 2 extra guests.

We are near local restaurants and stores, short distance from the center of Richboro. Nearby attractions Are Sesame Place, Philadelphia, Newtown, New Hope, Lambertville, Parx casino, wineries, etc.

We live in the country so you may see a deer or two in our backyard at night.

No public transportation, but Lyft and Uber are available 24/7.

Due to covid, I will provide contactless check in and check out for my guests. The pool is available for guests with social distancing from my family if we are at the pool.

No parties or events allowed. The maximum number of people allowed to stay in the suite is 4 people. No one is allowed on the property. Do not ask!

Not clean and not prepared for renters

good afternoon. I would like to preface this complaint by saying that as you can see from my profile I have rented numerous units from you in the past and have always been happy and gave positive reviews. The owners have all given me 5 star reviews as well. The reservation (ha-0jmmww7) has been a terrible experience resulting in our leaving after the first night. We checked in Sunday eve and left Monday morning at 9:58 a.m. The unit was extremely hot when we arrived and the ac was not working well and could not cool it off. The unit was NOT clean (see attached photos). The fridge and freezer were dirty, (including 2 slurpees from previous renters) the shade was completely full of black dust, the bathroom floor was not clean, the fans both had layer of thick grey/black dust. It was not clean by any standards and definitely during these times of COVID 19. This is unacceptable. This is a studio one room with a front door with a big window ,without a shade, making it easy to see straight inside. This made it inappropriate as the bed and entire unit are visible if someone is standing at the door. The website has picture of the bed with many pillows. There were only 2 pillows in the unit when we arrived!! We were 2 people staying here and she knew that. Also the site states that there are towels for the bath and pool. The owner knew we wanted to swim. However there were only 3 towels. I expect a full refund. I have requested this from the owner but have not heard back from her. (I spoke with Ellie from vrbo and she advised me to send this email to review) thank you

I contacted VRBO several times about this booking. They told her not to check out and she didn’t have viable reasons to check out early. She was told to contact me and not to check out. VRBO advised me that I didn’t have to send her a refund since they told her not to check out. I sent the guests several messages about their requests and did everything possible to please them. She lied an out the air conditioner, after she checked out it was freezing in the suite and she left it on and said she turned in off. They are better off booking with a hotel than VRBO or other short stays like this.

Stay away from this listing

Setting the scene: I am a regular VRBO user (eg. 5 bookings in the last 3 months!) and I have only ever had 5-star ratings from the sellers who review me. This listing wins the prize for being my first incredibly disappointing experience with a dishonest, unprofessional home-owner. I had seen the last guest's rating was 1 star and was somewhat concerned by that, but I contacted Tanya prior to booking to voice my concern and ask for clarification and she convinced me that there was nothing to worry about - the previous guest had made it up and VRBO was going to take the review offline... In my optimism, I naively believed her. My bad! While the property and neighborhood itself are perfectly adequate, if you want to save yourself a list of headaches, you're going to want to scroll on and stay somewhere else. Simply put, the studio had not been cleaned prior to our arrival, and the sleeping arrangements agreed were not provided. There were cobwebs in every corner, a thick layer of dust on every surface, remnants of pubic hair strewn across the fridge (!?) and bathroom floors as well as a crusty layer of dirty stagnant water floating on the streaked toilet bowl and dust-balls and crumbs on the kitchen floors. That's right - and you get to pay a hefty cleaning fee for the privilege of staying there! I was also promised an air mattress as per the listing description which Tanya failed to provide so I ended up sleeping on the dirty floor. I first tried to contact Tanya regarding check-in instructions which she had failed to provide, and was able to get a response from her only a few hours prior to arriving at the property - that should have been another warning sign that things weren't going to go well... I then tried to contact her again by phone after arrival, voicemail and messaging center to notify her of the missing bed, dirt and filth and got a response after 11pm that night, telling me she was sorry there wasn't a bed but she'd been up a mountain all day without cell reception. This woman argued that the property was clean and didn't believe what I was describing to her. She said I must be making it up... (why? there is no benefit to doing that. Do any of you other 5* guests go to the trouble of 'inventing' pretend dirt for kicks? Me neither.). So again, if your simple expectation for money spent is to stay in a clean place with adequate sleeping arrangements run by a professional ethical responsive home owner, scroll on! This dump is the pits.

Perfect Peaceful Get away

It was great the suite was so cute. It was perfect for me and girls get away. There was water and juice for us in the fridge and popcorn in the cabinet. The owner was very thoughtful. My girls enjoyed the pool. This was a successful trip away from home. Thank you Tanya

Perfect Place for the Night

My son (9) and I enjoyed our overnight stay, especially the fireplace. We had a hectic weekend and it was a very relaxing place to spend the night. We did not get to meet Tanya but she was very easy to get in touch with and gave us some great recommendations for Italian restaurants close by. We would love to stay again when we are in the area.

THE DOG Will TRY to BITE YOU

The Dog came at me 3 times viciously when we arrived,The owner only called for the dog the last time, We left, she claims the Dog only ATTACKS if you have Illegal Drugs on You! We are 73 Yrs. Old. No Leach, No Fence, You will get BIT !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This couple is lying. For one thing, my dog wasn’t outside when they checked in, so that’s a lie. When we were outside by the pool, my dog barked at him because he scared her while she was laying in the yard, any dog would have barked at anyone. I called my dog over to come into the fenced in pool area which is where I was and she never went near the gentleman again. I have on my listing that there is a dog on the property. She has never attacked or bit anyone. He is exaggerating the whole scenario of what happened.

Everything we need

Nice property to stay overnight. My family found it comfortable and the owner communicated clearly. The only snag was the address on VRBO sent us to the house across the street, which scared the neighbors. If I would have looked at the picture again, I probably would have been fine.

Nice weekend

Tanya has a nice apartment to stay in. The queen blow up bed was more comfortable than I anticipated. It was very convenient to my brothers house. Make sure to enjoy ice cream at Tanner brothers dairy just down the road or take a walk at Tyler state park.

Great Find

I needed a quiet place for readings I was conducting with actors and found this listing at just about the last minute. I now look forward to going back and staying sometime for pleasure rather than business. It’s a cozy space, and it’s actually larger than the pictures demonstrate. The bed is ridiculously comfortable, and the amenities are great. Pretty much everything you’d need is there minus a stove. Tanya was responsive both before and during our stay, and very helpful. The area is also cool. It’s situated on the border of quiet farmland and a convenient shopping center so it’s the best of both worlds location-wise. I would highly recommend it for a couple’s getaway or just a nice spot to take a little break.
