Villa Encantada is the whole enchilada. From the moment we stepped off the dock and entered the house, the staff met our every need, very professional and unobtrusive. The home is laid out perfectly for large families. Plenty of space for everyone to gather. The villa is stocked with all the amenities from home you would need, all you have to do is add food (and they will get that and have it for you upon your arrival). I could go on and on about this villa, but in reality, just book it. The location is perfect; right in the middle of the island, the views are spectacular, you have your own beach and water access and a beautiful infinity pool. I can’t imagine staying anywhere else when we come back to the island.

Family 40th Anniversary Trip

We had the best family vacation we have ever taken! 7 adults and 5 children under 12. Quiet area of the island with easy access to all locations via golf carts. Carlos, our awesome chef, had unbelievably fabulous meals for every person, including accommodations for gluten/dairy and shellfish allergies. Plenty of space for everyone, the pool was perfect and the beach fun for shell hunting, paddleboarding & kayaking (calm seas). We will be back!

Spacious Home with a great team

The best part about this listing is the staff. They are incredible! They all went above and beyond any time we needed anything. The breakfast looked like something out of a magazine every morning. I regretted not having ordered more meals ahead of time. The home is older and does fall short of some maintenance. Broken latches on doors and windows keep some from shutting and let's hot air in. The oven didn't work which was disappointing after we ordered frozen pizzas and such for the kiddos. But the staff did come in one day and turned it on for us (it had a tricky pilot light). Don't order any groceries that can't be completely sealed because bugs will get in them. :>/ We were bummed to find Zama Beach Club had shut down. That was a main draw for us having food and drinks right there when we stayed at a neighboring property earlier this year. Overall, we enjoyed our stay, but I do feel like the house is a bit overpriced for what it is.

Great Property with wonderful staff

We had a great time at this lovely property. 8 guests in total, everyone enjoyed. Well equipped, gorgeous sunsets, wonderful chef and very friendly concierge team. Was a great week. I would definitely look at the property adjacent as well. We got to tour it and it is well landscaped, great decor and has a beach. Beautiful.

Most relaxing vacation

Our vacation was so relaxing, the staff was always there to do everything for us. The chef was excellent as well as housekeeping. This was a family vacation with ages 75 to 15. I would highly recommend staying here

Great vacation

The house and concierge team were great! Could not have asked for a better experience. The concierge team assisted us from the time we landed at the airport to the time we left the house to head back home. They were a text away and were very responsive and timely when taking care of us. Highly recommend for family, wedding parties, getaway!

Excellent Home Away from Home!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Villa Encantada and have absolutely no complaints! The pictures online are great but the reality of how beautiful the house is beyond belief! It was very clean, well-taken care of, and fulfilled every need of our group. We had 11 people in our group and everyone loved the house, location, the staff, and the above stellar service! The staff including Emma, Pablo, Sylvia, Kevin, Elihud, Monse, Dianna, and all the countless others were so helpful, kind, and responsive and made all of us feel very welcome! Every single meal prepared by Elihud and Monse were spectacular and our group is still talking about how good the food was. Thank you to everyone for making this trip so wonderful and memorable. We will definitely be back!

Life in Paradise

So amazing we have few words for it. But if pressured we would describe our experience at Casa Encantada as: serene, spectacular, fabulosa, muy bueno, restful, divertido, friendly and competent and wonderful staff. We loved every min we stayed here! The Staff is fantastic to work with, chef was excellent.

This was a wonderful place to stay and celebrate my 40th birthday. There were 9 of us and we had room to spare! Amazing place we did want to leave the house !The golf carts are a great thing to have during your stay but don’t put more than 4 on a cart the police will pull you over and you are at total mercy of the Mexico police! Other than that you will enjoy every min of this home. Oh we also had massages a couple of the days and they were fantastic on the roof of the house.

Amazing! Wonderful! Staff became family!

I cannot rave enough about these properties! We actually rented all three of Jeffery’s properties for my husbands birthday party, in which 50+ friends came to join us. Casa Coco, Casa Cielo & Villa Encantada we’re by far the cleanest, best maintained, had the most helpful and communicative staffing of all the houses we rented while there (we rented six homes + a venue). I had only wished they owned more properties so we could have done everything through them! Each property is so charming and beautiful, they are among my favorite VRBO’s, and we travel all the time. If you want to have an event, wedding, anything special, do yourself a favor and go with one of these homes-truly. Not only did Emma (who is Amazing) provide top notch services, she actually was able to jump in when the large venue we had booked with someone else was being difficult and unresponsive to our needs. Had I known, I would have just asked Emma, John-Baptiste, or Tito advice on where to go and how much to pay. I won’t mention names to trash another venue, but the pricing was astronomical-US market rate, for very little in terms of services and communication. I would give ten stars if I could! We hired golf carts, boat taxi’s, a yatch, a band, and a private (Suprise) luchadors wrestling match for my husband!! Everyone thought I did an amazing job planning, but in all sincereity, it was due to the ease of working with Jeffery & Emma that made our trip so great. I will also mention, we have an 16 month old, and the staff was so lovely to her, Monse and Diana really won her over. If I could leave my contact information for you, as the potential renter, to reach me I would! I have to trust that my loquacious review cones across as genuine and enthusiastic enough to sway you. It’s worth every penny, because the service you get is priceless-much better than any promised white glove services from an off site management company. Having a local management team will save you time (instead of waiting for confirmations and contact info of the house managers/staff) and money in the long run-these guys have local, great contacts-I’d recommend, and have, them to anyone traveling that direction. Although, we like to travel different places all the time, this may become a location we go back to because it’s so great!

Enchanting Villa - spectacular service and views

A gorgeous property! The pictures simply do not do it justice! Truly a hidden gem on Isla Mujeres. Amazing views of the Caribbean from the roof, the rooms, the pool the private beach..everywhere you turn! The property has various communal lounge areas as well as the bedrooms themselves being spacious with seating areas and balconies...both comfortable and luxurious. The staff is incredibly accommodating, the owners are attentive and their thoughtfulness is reflected in the details of this beautiful space. Not to be missed !!

Private and luxurious

This is the second time we stayed at Villa Encantada and it was peaceful, clean and stylish, with just the right amount of service and attentiveness from staff and owners. Food was excellent and we also went into town for some restaurants. Excellent to have breakfast at the Villa for a relaxing morning. Did a day trip to Isla Blanca and expanded our enjoyment of the area.

Beautiful House!!

I just returned from Villa Encantada and can't say enough about this house. It was everything we had hoped for our girls trip and more. Emma was wonderful to work with and house exceeded our expectations. We hired a chef for the weekend and the food was amazing. We will definitely be back at this great property!!

The villa was spectacular, the staff beyond amazing and kind - an experience we won't forget!

A perfect and unforgettable week long family trip we just had at the Villa. It exceeded our expectations in every way. Upon arrival, we were immediately welcomed by the staff who kindly showed us around the villa, ensuring we knew how everything worked, such as the home entertainment center to the grill out back. Each room was so unique and beautifully decorated, we never stopped being in awe of the place. And the views! Each night we were met with the most stunning sunsets. Our experience would not have been what it was without the amazing staff - our chef Tito, house coordinator Emma and housekeeper Monica were so incredibly kind and helpful to us. From helping book golf cart transportation for the week to recommendations on the island, it made everything so much easier. They were easy to get a hold of for any issues or questions we had during our stay. We highly recommend this villa and we already can't wait to be back.

Awesome

Beautiful home on a incredibly interesting cultural Mexican Island. Easy to get to from Cancun but miles away from the style, bustle and plain drab drone of Cancun. Mexican Euro flair in a absolutely unique home, with a friendly and accommodating staff. Azure seas and the twinkle of Cancun lights at night were bonuses. Mid day weather was a little hot for us in the summer, but w will be back for the winter season for sure. Thank you, to Jeffrey and Bridget

Extended Family group

Villa Encantada is simply a fabulous and beautiful property with exceptional owners, managers and staff. From start to finish this experience was nothing but top notch. From our initial booking contact, to the moment we checked out and beyond, when we were personally called by the owners and thanked again for staying with them. While we are not new to Mexico travels we are certainly new to this caliber of service in Mexico and couldn´t be more pleased to recommend the villa and the amazing staff. For example: 1) We were contacted immediately after booking to assist with our transportation to the island from airport and ferry. 2) They assisted in prearranging golf carts delivered before our arrival to the villa 3) They also managed the booking of our dive and snorkel trips. We felt like we were staying in a 6 star hotel with our own private concierge and full staff. Instead of the usual all-inclusive we opted for this amazing private villa. We also hired full chef services and were consistently delighted with menu, presentation, and general warmth of the chef and staff. Only thing I would change is making it a longer stay next time so we could really unwind and see more of the exceptional things the island and area have to offer. Thank you for a fantastic stay and we truly look forward to returning with more friends and family for another great experience.

Perfection!

You can not find better than Villa Encantada. This superbly designed home is spectacular in every sense. Each suite, the living areas, the location and view, the patio, pool and beach! Every detail was well thought out and you feel that you are in a personal home and not a rental. We had a large family group of varying ages and the home handled us perfectly. There is space for everyone, and areas for various groups to hang. There is plenty to do from swimming to sunbathing to beach combing to kayaking to playing games or reading or watching movies. Just being "home" is most enjoyable. The staff is outstanding - their attention to detail, the care they provide and making you feel welcome and happy. The owners, Jeffrey and Bridget are very attentive and accommodating. If any issue arrises they are immediately one it. The gourmet breakfasts (thank you Isis) and wonderful dinners (if you include them) are outstanding. The grounds were cleaned every morning (including the sand raked), the house and rooms freshened each day, and it was like staying in your own 5 Star hotel. Each room is beautiful in its own right and very comfortable. Two have garden views but are wonderful and the 3 ocean view rooms provide spectacular views. Being on the quiet side of the island with sunset and Cancun views (and less wind) was preferable to the open ocean side. I would recommend reserving golf carts for your stay as the house is about 15 minutes from the main town but everything was easy with the carts. You are able to have the house stocked with anything you desire prior to arrival if you choose (we did) and arrange menus with the chef. We also had private transfers from and to the airport which included a private boat right to the house - can't beat it. One of the best and most memorable vacations we have ever had. Thank you!!

Spectacular beachfront home...everything you need for a fabulous Carribean vacation!

We had a wonderful time at Villa Encantada! The house is spectacular and very well equipped with everything you could possibly need. The staff was very professional and we felt like one big family by the time we left. Isis, our chef, was one of the best parts of our stay. She prepared beautiful, delicious meals for us everyday! Loved her adorable smile and happy disposition. The sunsets are spectacular from every spot on the property. The only thing I would suggest is trimming the trees a bit near the beach as they are starting to block the view a bit. Thank you to Bridget for helping us set up our excursions and getting to and from the villa from Cancun airport. We can't wait to come back!

This property exceeded our every expectation

I wanted to do something special for my wife's 50th birthday, and so 5 couples booked this villa for a long weekend. The house was spacious enough to accommodate 10 people (or more) without feeling cramped. We had an incredible weekend and the service was exceptional.

A real Gem of the Caribbean.

Villa Encantada is one of the most stunningly designed places we have ever stayed AND!!, located in really a superb location. Set on a beautiful stretch of beach, facing the sunsets, both the villa and the ambience are modestly captured by the photos on the vrbo listing. In addition to the wonderful villa and setting, the entire experience from start to finish was delightful, and we are extremely experienced villa travelers throughout the Caribbean. Beginning with the booking experience and communication, everything was spot on from initial inquiry to arranging private boat transfer directly to the villa from Cancun, (classy) as well as arrangements for island excursions, and of course all the service at the villa. Bags attended, cocktails on arrival, pre stocked food and beverage and arriving to a freshly prepared and excellent meal after a long day of travel was a wonderful beginning to our vacation. While we have stayed in other villas on the island this for sure takes the prize and especially knowing how few villas are actually on the beach. We delighted in swimming from the beach as well as kayaking and paddle boards. The villa is Sophisticated yet cozy and comfortable in the rooms and living spaces. Every room is custom designed with great care incorporating artistic elements as well as a wonderful collection of original art from around the world as well as highlighting very talented Mexican painters. The owners are gracious and attentive and we enjoyed a dinner with them at their personal residence, another lovely property 5 minutes walking from the villa, called Casa Del Cielo. Their warm spirited affection and love of service and hospitality are a welcome addition to any travel experience and it shines through with their staff. We look forward to many returns to Villa Encantada and can simply say this is a must stay on Isla Mujeres or compared to anywhere you might consider. Truly Five Star!

The first time I walked into Villa Encantada, it took my breath away. Each detail seems thoughtfully curated, from the tasteful art on the walls, to the magazine-worthy decor of each bedroom/suite to the outdoor pool. That stunning ocean view where we watched many sunsets was another highlight. Meals (prepared by their chef ) were delicious, often authentic Mexican dishes with fresh from the market (or sea!) ingredients. Every day was wonderful whether we wanted to relax and lounge close to home, or go into Centro, or to the beach.Jeffrey and Bridget are clearly seasoned hosts, they strike just the right balance of being helpful and welcoming, but not intrusive. We felt like VIP's the whole time. It's private and safe and one of our favorite places on Isla. We'll be back again and again.

Our family moved from Seattle in the fall of 2013 to live in Mexico full-time. We had a desire to explore the culture, learn Spanish, and to create a unique and interesting lifestyle for our family. In the 12 years prior to our move we explored countless places in the Maya Riviera and the Caribbean seeking the perfect place to start our adventure. Isla Mujeres captured our hearts immediately with it’s beauty, charm, and the laid-back safe environment it offers our family.

With a background in real estate, design, and development, and an inherent draw towards beautiful places, architecture, and exquisite spaces, we set out to create Villas and a boutique hotel embodying our vision.

Our family is passionate about travel, art, and we especially enjoy celebrating life with family and friends. We are active in our daughter’s alternative education and have explored the magical culture, history and natural beauty of the Island and region.

Our mission is to provide a beautiful and inspirational environment and island experience to our like-minded and conscientious guests. We welcome any input to improve our services and we wish you a wonderful stay!! Welcome to the Island and Villa Encantada.
