Great House!

House exactly as shown/described…great located, very clean, adequately updated and stocked with beach & kitchen essentials. Overall great flow to the house. We had a great stay and would definitely stay again!

Plenty of room and good location

This property was as advertised and the host was very responsive. Good gathering space for large family and close to the beach. Kitchen was very well equipped and plenty of beach chairs and tags were provided.

Charming property in a great location

We loved everything about our stay at this house. The charming 1920’s floors and architecture, the modern fully stocked kitchen, the easy walk to the beach, the comfy beds and adequate hot water heater. Our family (aged 23–81) stayed a week and enjoyed our stay. The house was great to host our daily dinners in the dining room and on the covered patio

Great house & location

We thoroughly enjoyed our recent stay at this property. It is a great location to sit on the porch and watch everyone walking to the beach or over the bridge. Close to beach and well maintained. Owners are very responsive. Look forward to returning to this property.

Gem by the sea

Loved the house! Great location! Owner extremely helpful. Only drawback was having to secure sheets and towels and toiletries when coming from Florida via plane. Family loved this place and want to return!

Family vacation

Plenty of room for six adults and two teens. Loved the porch for early morning coffee and brainstorming plans for the day. Easy walk to the beach and lots of restaurants nearby. Enjoyed the quiet of the neighborhood and when we wanted crowds Ocean City was close by. Thank you Michele and Jeff for always responding so promptly. Great time had by all.

Family vacation

Five of our grown children joined my husband and I for vacation at your beautiful house in Ventnor. We enjoyed all the amenities, especially the porch. The kitchen was well stocked with all the utensils , dishes, pots and pans. The home was beautifully decorated and comfortable.

Loved this house!

The house was a beautiful, spacious beach house with loads of charm. We were a little concerned about being on the corner of a busy road, but it was never thought about all week and we spent a lot of time on the front porch. The owner was very accessible and gave us their cell phone numbers in case of any issues, we had none. Our family loved it!

Comfortable, convenient, communicative

We had a great stay here with our parents and kids (three generations). The house was spacious, clean, and well-stocked with everything we needed. We loved the location - an easy walk to the beach, central in Ventnor, close to Margate and AC. Michele and Jeff were super responsive and took care of the few minor issues we encountered on our first day very quickly and completely. We can’t wait to come back!

Charming House

This property is charming! We loved everything about it from the wrap around porch, the large patio/driveway that the kids could ride bikes in, the side yard for cornhole & all of the spacious rooms in the house! Bathrooms for almost every bedroom!! With the opening of some new restaurants in Ventnor you have options to walk to & of course there’s ice cream right across the bridge. The huge porch was great for late night game playing. We really enjoyed our stay & hope to be back next year!

Pleasant home with great beach access, but located at very busy intersection.

The house is nice and conveniently located to the beach...two short blocks and restaurants and shops. My biggest issue is that the house is located on a very busy intersection. No peace and quiet on the porch...I couldn't read and relax given the noise and I was concerned about safety of grandchildren given the busy streets. Sirens wailing at all hours.

Thank you for your feedback, Robert. We were glad you liked the house and convenient location. One of the compliments we get most often from our guests is the central location of our home and proximity to the beach. The tradeoff is that central locations have more people and traffic, especially the closer you get to the beach. The bay side is quieter, however, those homes are not as centrally located and certainly not within walking distance to the beach, restaurants, shops, playgrounds, boardwalk, etc. Since we are located on a historical tract (St. Leonard's Tract) our property size is much larger than other properties in the area. This allows us a larger back yard, which is where we take our own granddaughter, nieces, and nephews to play safely. The back yard is contained on three sides and is open only on one side to a spacious 2-tier private patio area with a detached garage building on one side and fence on the other sides for added privacy. Unfortunately, we cannot control sirens. If there is an emergency, the emergency responders are doing their best to ensure the safety of patients and the community, which is of highest priority. A Wonderful Stay

My family and I had a wonderful stay at this property over Memorial Day weekend 2024. Unlike many shore rental houses, this house is HUGE. The wrap around porch is so great - we loved early mornings reading on the porch! There are 4 bedrooms so all of my kids got to have their own room instead of bunking up which was really nice. The kitchen was well stocked. The dining room table sat 9 of us for dinner one night as we had some friends visit. The living space is big with lots of seating. The house is located on one of the busiest intersections on the island, but it didn't both us. Only a 2 short block walk to the beach. We didn't have to deal with street parking because the driveway was huge. The garage was stocked with a beach cart, beach chairs, umbrellas, a grill, anything you could ask for! We will definitely return in 2025 - loved this house!

Great House

This is a great house and a very nice location via a via the beach, which is beautiful. It is a VERY busy corner; it’s the direct route from the main land to the beach and rest of Ventnor, Margate, etc. nice neighborhood and everyone we dealt with was very nice. Be aware there are many basics we would expect that are missing from this property. No linens, bed sheets, bath or beach or hand towels. We brought all that for 9 people from home and it was a ton of work. The listing says there would be a $99 fee for linens, but we were told that wasn’t available and renting everything from a service would have exceeded $200. Also, there were no paper towels, dishwashing soap, dishwasher soap, laundry detergent or soap for showers/bath. Bare bones. The equipment in the kitchen is good, plenty of games, beach chairs and that kind of equipment was great. Just think small changes like supplying what I consider basics would make life much easier for those of us who are coming from a distance. Michele, the host was very nice and the house, overall was very roomy and comfortable. Grill was charcoal and we had to go buy charcoal. Check out the garage though, as there were some other items there we probably would have enjoyed.

Hi Sheila, Thank you for the great review of our beach house. We are very glad you felt we have a great house and a very nice location to our beautiful beach. Thank you also for letting us know there were no paper towels. We have addressed this with our cleaners who have instructions to replenish them between guests if needed. We do not include soaps, but we do include many more significant amenities such as 8 beach tags, off-street parking for 6 cars, a garage for convenient storage, wireless internet, countless appliances, a fully stocked kitchen, games, beach chairs, beach umbrella, beach cart, back yard, patio, wraparound porch, close access to the beach, and much more. All included amenities are outlined in the Amenities section of the VRBO website. Since Covid started, we do not include bed linens based on feedback from our recurring guests who preferred to bring their own, and we reduced our rental price accordingly. Thank you again for being our guests, and for taking the time to provide feedback on our home. We hope the above clarifies and better explains our offerings. Convenient location and lots of space

Overall we were very happy with our stay here. Lots of space for the kids - both inside and out. Very convenient location to walk to the beach and restaurants (especially Custards!) but can be noisy. Owners were responsive to any questions but should have given us a heads up regarding a leak that had occurred prior to our stay. Kitchen was well stocked with cooking utensils, pots and pans and the garage had great beach gear. A great week!

My family loved it here. The location was perfect, only a block to the boardwalk and beach. We've paid much higher for other homes that were farther away and much smaller in size. Beaches were clean and so was the home itself. Plenty of parking and a large porch, which became our favorite hangout. Will visit again for sure.

Beachy and well equipped home close to the beach

This is the most beautiful and well equipped beach rental we have stayed in the past 9 years of visiting the Jersey shore. We never realized that Ventnor has it's own boardwalk, and this house is only a block away. My grandchildren loved riding bikes and we enjoyed long walks with the ocean view on one side and large residential homes on the other. A big plus was the oversized offstreet parking. We fit six cars easily, and with our family coming and going, it was just perfect. It also has 3 full baths, which was convenient for our family of 8. There are two playgrounds, a fishing pier, tennis courts, and ice cream stands within walking distance of the home. The decor definitely puts you in the beach mood. The porch spans two sides of the home and is big with plenty of furniture to relax on. A grill and all the kitchen supplies and amenities you could want and then some. We had some rain while there, and didn’t mind staying in and playing games. We never felt like we were in close quarters, as the rooms were definitely spacious. The owners were responsive from our initial inquiry to our many questions. We're already planning a return trip next year.

Great Family Vacation Home

This beach house is a gem and has absolutely everything you need. It is very clean and decorated with a beachy theme throughout the entire house. The space accommodated our family of 6 adults and 3 children perfectly. The location was great with only a little over a block to the beach and boardwalk. The large porch had multiple sides for different views and furniture for everyone to sit comfortably and enjoy the scenery. The owners were extremely accommodating and answered all our questions promptly. If you are looking for a great location and a home with plenty of space, this beach house is for you. We had an awesome time and would highly recommend.

Wonderful beach house near boardwalk and beach

Stayed in this house during our family's pre-summer vacation and had a fantastic time. The neighborhood is very nice and homes are large with nice lots. The house had plenty of room for our family of seven to spread out and relax comfortably. The kitchen was really nice and it had all appliances and everything we have in our own home. Since I am someone who likes to cook and spends a lot of time in the kitchen this was a plus. The house has a back yard with patio so we cooked on the outdoor grill some days. Liked the convenience to have our own parking especially since we had four cars coming and going. Loved that the house is only a short walking distance to beach and boardwalk where we enjoyed biking and walking. It is also close to other areas such as Margate and Atlantic City, which are two places we like to go. The owners were extremely nice and very responsive. We had no issues during our stay, I'm happy to report. We highly recommend this rental!

From the time we checked in to the time we left, this house had everything we needed - from the spaciousness of the home to beach chairs and umbrellas, and a beach cart. We loved the decor - everything was beachy, so it really made us feel like we were at the beach. The location was very convenient with plenty of off street parking - only one block to the beach, and there was a very nice boardwalk. We loved the large porch and overall it was a very comfortable house for our family of 8. The 3 full baths and outside shower were great when we all needed to clean up after the beach. We definitely recommend, and the owners were super helpful.

Clean, Neat, and Close to Beach

This house was very clean and neat, which we loved. We felt the best features were the close proximity to the beach, so it was easy to go back and forth as needed. It also was a good location for getting in and out of town. We loved the spaciousness both inside the house and outside. It seemed to be an extra large lot compared to others we've stayed at. There was plenty of parking so my family never had to worry about a space. At nighttime, there was plenty of outside lighting, and we enjoyed the large porch which always seemed to have a nice breeze. My family also liked that there were 3 and a half baths, so we never had to worry about getting in line to take showers. The house had every amenity possible, and we can't think of anything it was lacking except a knife sharpener. We would definitely recommend this home to others.

Comfortable house for 6 adults and 3 young children

The house worked well for our family, which for half of our one month stay included my spouse and me, 2 grown children and their partners, and 3 children age 5, 2, and 4 months, and 3 cars. The owners are very nice people who provided a comfortable place with a quite well appointed, well-organized kitchen and a clean basement with washer-dryer. The shed included many beach supplies though they do not mention that in their listing, and the ample off-street parking was much appreciated. The house is located at a busy corner and there is another busy street (with helpful traffic light) to cross to get to the beach. The porch is ample and we used it a lot, despite the traffic noise. Over the course of a mostly very happy month-long stay, we had some difficulties with an air conditioner, ants, and a mouse, and the owners responded conscientiously and personally (driving in from Philadelphia) to all of them. The layout of the house worked well for a large family and though the street location was not as restful as some of our family would have liked, I felt it more than made up for that in convenience and proximity of beach, shopping, and restaurants.

My husband, Jeff, and I purchased our dream beach house in 1999. We love the charm of the home, the wonderful neighborhood, and that it is only a short walk to the beach and boardwalk. We have a beautiful daughter, Nicoletta, who also enjoys spending family time with us. We decided to open the house to rentals a few years ago, after we had done many major renovations, and our guests enjoy it as much as we do! Our goal was to transform the house into a wonderful getaway, surrounded by beachy decorations to give the look and feel of being at the beach. Our favorite time of year is the fall, when the weather is still warm and enjoyable. All three of us work full time in various occupations, so when we get a chance to get away, we truly enjoy "Our Happy Place". We are very grateful for our guests who visit us year after year, as well as those who are visiting us for the first time. Our goal is to ensure you have a pleasant stay. All are welcome!

Our home is centrally located, so it's only a block to the beach and boardwalk, as well as a block to see the scenic bayside as well! It's located on St. Leonard's Track, a historical track, where property sizes and homes are larger. There are restaurants, coffee shop, ice cream shop, library, tennis courts, volleyball courts, kiddie parks, fishing pier, and lots of other activities within walking distance. In addition, Atlantic City is only a couple miles away for those who like casinos, entertainment, and upscale outlet shopping!
