This huge home is the perfect gathering spot for large groups and families. It is 2 blocks from the Beach and Boardwalk with transportation to casinos, restaurants and entertainment outside your door.

The home features 5 large bedrooms (12 beds), 3.5 bathrooms, oversized dining room which comfortably seats 12-15 people, a game room with bar and full size pool table, large sunroom and charming Indoor/Outdoor courtyard.

Wonderful place to stay for a weekend getaway with friends!

Sandy was an incredible host, very responsive, and friendly/welcoming through the whole process. The house was a good value, spacious, and clean upon arrival. It perfectly fit our needs for the weekend, and we were so happy to stay in a place that great. Beds were comfortable, and amenities such as the pool table and dart board were a wonderful addition to the experience. Would absolutely stay here again!

Perfect for our needs

This house is the perfect house to relax, play and escape reality. There is so much room and so many beds it can accommodate many more than the 8 (child-less) adults. The property manager was awesome attentive and fun to deal with. Would definitely come back in the future!!

We’ll stay again.

This is an old style house, but enjoyable and well maintained. Good location, one block to the beach and safe neighborhood. On a personal note, to many accent furniture around the house makes it very crowded and not easy to freely walk around. The host and maintenance managers were super nice and responsive. We’ll definitely stay again!

Wonderful place, and wonderful host!

I stayed at the Delancy house this past weekend with 12 other people and found it absolutely wonderful. Pictures really do not do it justice. As soon as you step foot in the house, you realize just how big it truly is, and how comfortably it can fit everyone. Not only that, but Sandy was such a wonderful host and I would consider visiting again in a heartbeat. Such a great location, very close to anything you'd like to do during the day or night.

Better Than Advertised

Excellent experience. The house was perfect -- big, clean, spacious, and with everything we needed for the weekend. Everything was labelled for ease of use and there were helpful instructions in binders and signs everywhere. We needed more parking passes and they were quickly delivered. Every email I sent was promptly responded to. I highly recommend this property.

Bachelor Party Trip

I booked this house for my bachelor party and I couldn't be happier with the choice. The location was great - it was a block to the beach, parking was easy, there was a convenience store less than a block away, as well as a delicious cafe, and it was easy to get to the casinos.The house itself was even better than in the pictures. There was plenty of space, even in all the bedrooms with multiple beds. The game room/living room were large enough for us to comfortably hang out in, and the pool table was much nicer than a normal rental property pool table. The outdoor courtyard was also nice for a night of grilling and hanging out. The property also had plenty of beach chairs to use, which was a huge help in saving space in the car.The owner and property manager were both wonderful to work with, and I would absolutely recommend this for any group.

Trip to AC for Futsal Tournament with Families and Boys

The property lived up to its expectations per the many positive reviews! Property Manager Sandy was fabulous from start to finish and very responsive. House was perfect for our crew, several families and boys in the 15/16 year age range to hang out together, with the pool table being a ton of fun while they played music throughout the four day futsal tournament. Plenty of beds and a great cafe across the street that served good food all day, breakfast and lunch. Would highly recommend if you have a large group and need plenty of beds and large space to be together!

Great place a short walk from the beach outside of AC

Stayed at Sandy's place for a short beach week trip with friends. The house was great for a big group - plenty of sleeping space as well as room to spread out and work from home during the day, and hang out after work at night. There were a couple existing property damage issues, but nothing that impacted our stay, and it was easy to communicate with Sandy about anything we needed or noticed. It was great that house was so close to AC but in a quieter neighborhood only a block and a half from the beach. Although the house seems to be a little older and more worn than the pictures might show, it was a great property (clean and spacious with all listed amenities) and we had a great time. Would recommend staying here if you're coming to this area of the Jersey shore!

Great Staycation house

I booked this house for my birthday getaway staycation. It's a great space, enough for 11+ people. We had issues getting the TV's to work and unfortunately the maintenance man never came to assist after I reached out. Outside of a few minor things, we loved the house, amenities and area.

Great Beach Trip

Organized a work retreat for my office to the beach. We had a great time. Sandy the owner manager was extremely responsive and the house was perfect for a fun weekend at the beach.

Bachelor weekend!

The Delancy house is a great property for a fun weekend. It was large in size and included a pool table and bar for entertainment. The hosts were easy to get ahold of and we had zero issues. Highly recommend.

Great house for a large group

The house was exactly how it was described. It was in a great area with plenty of beds and bathrooms for a large group of people. We were close to a bunch of restaurants and it was a short Uber ride to the casino. My one complaint is that because it was an older house we had some issues with blowing fuses when using one hair dryer. With that many beds you wouldn’t think one hair dryer would blow a fuse. We had to call the property manager late the first night and he was great and told us where the breaker box was. The second night we had the same issue but switching the breakers did not seem to solve the problem. I called the property manager again and explained the situation where he became a little confrontational and told me, “You need to have more common sense.” I did not appreciate that, however, he did come to the house and was willing to help and apologized for the comments. Overall it was a great house and I would love to come back! I believe I just caught the property manager at a bad time. The owner was great and always friendly and responded quickly to any questions.

Perfect house.

This house was perfect for our guys trip. Plenty of space for all 9 of us. The house was clean and had everything we needed. Directly across the street was a convince store and a number of good restaurants. Few minutes walk to the beach and about 20 minutes to the Hard Rock. Overall it was great.I would recommend this house to anyone.

Birthday weekend year 2

Americana... By the Sea was our family beach house for many years. We now live in the area full time and continue to maintain this house as if we still occupy it.

I am a retired school administrator who served in a suburban Philadelphia school district for many years. Upon retirement in 2009, my husband and I decided to make the Jersey Shore our permanent home – and never regretted the decision.

That same year, I created “Sandyland Properties” and I have been busy acquiring and renovating properties for rental ever since. Sandyland Properties specializes in making accommodations for those interested in short term stays in Atlantic City and has already earned high marks. The original home, Americana…By the Sea was purchased by us in 2003 and served as our family beach house for many years. It was a wonderful get-away from the hustle and bustle of city life in the Philadelphia area. Since 2009 we have opened this home as well as the Grand Belle…By the Sea, Delancy Place and 2 beautifully appointed apartments for guests from all over the world to enjoy. We still live in the area and continue to maintain the houses as if we occupy them ourselves!

We have had a lot of fun collecting bits of Atlantic City nostalgia throughout the years and it can be seen in each of these houses in unique and attractive ways. Original prints from the very early days of Atlantic City’s history can be seen throughout the homes. An original 1920’s Rolling Chair looks out at unbelievable Ocean and Boardwalk views and Miss America memorabilia are just some of the features that are found homes at Americana…By the Sea. The Grand Belle boasts an original Bathhouse from the turn of the Century which has been lovingly restored. Delancy Place, one of the more recently built homes (1920), is a favorite for Bachelor and Bachelorette parties with a large regulation size pool table and a Speakeasy feel that cannot be denied!

Our guests at these beautifully restored homes are truly treated as "guests in our own home". As we did for so many years, we want them to also enjoy the beauty and tranquility of our southern New Jersey beaches and the many entertainment opportunities that Atlantic City has to offer. This is just one of the many reasons for the existence of Sandyland. Come “Down to the Shore” and join us!
