The Space:
Welcome to your perfect coastal getaway! This spacious, light-filled home offers open-plan living, dining, and kitchen areas with sweeping views and unforgettable sunsets—one of the true highlights of this beautiful location.

The heart of the home features soaring ceilings, a cosy wood-burning fireplace, and extensive glass windows that frame the views and flood the space with natural light. Whether you’re unwinding in winter or enjoying summer evenings, the open-plan design offers comfort and relaxation year-round.

Step through French doors onto the full-length verandah—accessible from both the living area and the master bedroom—where you can soak up the scenery or enjoy a meal outdoors. The front deck includes a gas BBQ and outdoor furniture, perfect for al fresco dining.

The property backs onto the Tuross Lake waterfront reserve, offering a peaceful, natural setting. While the lake itself isn’t directly accessible due to the terrain, the mature gums behind the property attract native birds and wildlife—creating a tranquil and nature-rich experience.

Guest Access:
Guests have full access to You'll have full access to the entire house, including all bedrooms, bathrooms, and living spaces. Make use of the kitchen, and enjoy the garden, BBQ grill, and balcony. Parking is available in the double garage. Note; there is a storage room adjacent to the laundry on the lower level (external access only) which is not accessible to guests.

Check-in time is from 2 PM, and check-out time is by 10 AM.

We are happy to meet you at the property on arrival or leave keys in the lock box located at the property.

The Neighborhood:
A range of swimming beaches, Lavender Bay boat ramp & Tuross Lake for fishing & boating are just minutes away. Just down Trafalgar Road, you will find the Boatshed Cafe as well as the Picked Octopus Restaurant.

As this home is located on a steep block with no fencing it may not be suitable for small children.

𝗧𝗵𝗶𝘀 𝗳𝗼𝗿𝗺 𝗺𝘂𝘀𝘁 𝗯𝗲 𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗽𝗹𝗲𝘁𝗲𝗱 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵𝗶𝗻 𝟮𝟰 𝗵𝗼𝘂𝗿𝘀 𝗼𝗳 𝗯𝗼𝗼𝗸𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗮𝗰𝗰𝗲𝗽𝘁𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗲 𝗼𝗿 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗯𝗼𝗼𝗸𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗺𝗮𝘆 𝗯𝗲 𝗰𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗲𝗹𝗲𝗱. 𝗣𝗮𝘆𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁𝘀;
• 51% of total booking amount is payable upon booking confirmation. This, along with the completion of your guest registration confirms your booking. Remaining balance due 30 days prior to check in.
• Where the date of arrival is within 30 days the total booking amount is payable upon booking confirmation.
• Where payment is declined on 3 occasions the booking will be cancelled.

𝗦𝗲𝗰𝘂𝗿𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗗𝗲𝗽𝗼𝘀𝗶𝘁; A refundable guest security deposit of $300.00 applies at Chalet on Trafalgar @ Tuross Head. The security deposit is held by way of a pre-authorisation against your card. The hold is placed on the day of arrival and released within 48 hours of departure unless withheld to cover any damages.

𝗖𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗲𝗹𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀; Bookings cancelled at least 30 days before the start of the stay will receive a full refund minus the booking fee. Bookings cancelled less than 30 days before the start will receive a 50% refund. The booking fee is not refundable. Upon cancellation, if within the cancellation policy’s time frame, if the guest has paid for their booking via card, the guest will receive their set refund minus card payment processing fees.

𝗚𝘂𝗲𝘀𝘁𝘀 𝗡𝘂𝗺𝗯𝗲𝗿𝘀; Guest numbers must not exceed the number of guests stated on the booking. The house has a maximum occupancy limit of 7 persons including adults & children.

A non-refundable booking fee of $55.00 applies to each reservation.

Large group bookings, parties or events are not accepted at Chalet on Trafalgar. The property is non smoking internally.

• Please note, that our property shares a driveway with our neighbors at number 21. It is crucial to keep the shared driveway clear to ensure smooth access for everyone. Chalet on Trafalgar is the RIGHT HAND side house as you enter the driveway, and the garage directly to the RIGHT of the driveway belongs to number 23. For your convenience we recommend parking your vehicle in the garage. This not only secures your car but also prevents any obstruction in the shared driveway, allowing free movement for our neighbors at number 21.
