The Space:

Chalet on Trafalgar overlooks Tuross Lake and the mountains beyond, accommodating up to seven guests in three bedrooms. Enjoy the changing outlook and sunsets from the living area and full-length verandah.

𝗞𝗶𝘁𝗰𝗵𝗲𝗻 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗹𝗶𝘃𝗶𝗻𝗴



The open-plan kitchen, dining and living area has high ceilings, extensive windows and views across the lake. The kitchen is fully equipped, with electric cooking. French doors open from the living area onto the full-length verandah. Wi-Fi is available.



𝗕𝗮𝘁𝗵𝗿𝗼𝗼𝗺𝘀 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗹𝗮𝘂𝗻𝗱𝗿𝘆



Bedroom 1 has an ensuite bathroom. The main bathroom has a shower over the bath, with a separate toilet.



The lower-level laundry contains a washing machine and dryer and is accessed only by an external staircase.



𝗛𝗲𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗰𝗼𝗼𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗴



Ducted heating and cooling provides comfort throughout the year, with a wood fire in the living area.



Guest Access:

You'll have access to the house, including the three bedrooms, bathrooms, kitchen and living areas, plus the verandah, outdoor furniture, gas BBQ, lower-level laundry and double garage. The storage room beside the downstairs laundry is locked and is not available to guests.



Chalet on Trafalgar is the right-hand house at 23 Trafalgar Road. The property shares a driveway with number 21. Please park in Chalet's double garage on the right and keep the shared driveway clear at all times.



Stairs lead down from the driveway and garage area to the house. The main living level has no internal steps. The lower-level laundry is accessed only by an external staircase.



The property backs onto the Tuross Lake reserve and sits on steep, unfenced land. There is no direct lake access from the property due to the natural terrain of the land.



𝗔𝗿𝗿𝗶𝘃𝗮𝗹 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗰𝗵𝗲𝗰𝗸-𝗶𝗻



Self-check-in is available using the lockbox at the property, so you can arrive at your convenience from check-in time.



If you prefer, we’d be happy to meet you on arrival by prior arrangement, until 4 pm Monday to Friday or 3 pm on Saturdays. We can give you a brief tour and answer any questions about the property, its features and Tuross Head in general.



Check-in is from 2 pm and check-out is by 10 am. Please let us know if you expect to arrive late.



Early check-in or late check-out may be available as an optional extra, subject to adjoining bookings, housekeeping and maintenance requirements. Availability can be confirmed 24 hours beforehand.



The Neighborhood:

Trafalgar Road offers a Tuross Head setting overlooking the lake and surrounding mountains, with mature trees around the property.



Tuross Head's beaches and lakes offer opportunities for swimming, fishing, boating, kayaking and exploring the coast. Local dining options and the Lavender Bay boat ramp are nearby.



𝗣𝗮𝗿𝗸 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗰𝗮𝗿 & 𝗲𝘅𝗽𝗹𝗼𝗿𝗲 𝗧𝘂𝗿𝗼𝘀𝘀 𝗛𝗲𝗮𝗱



Park the car and explore Tuross Head at your own pace. Walk or cycle along the local pathways and enjoy easy access to the beaches, lakes, cafés and village.



Chalet on Trafalgar is approximately 1.3 km from Main Beach, 1 km from Lavender Bay boat ramp on the Tuross Lake foreshore, 1.3 km from the village shops on Evans Road, 850 m from Tuross Boatshed & Café and 1.5 km from the Tuross Head golf course at Club Tuross on foot.



With Tuross Head’s network of walking and cycling pathways, much of the village can be explored without getting back in the car.



Getting Around:

A car is useful for exploring Tuross Head's beaches, lakes, village shops and the surrounding coast. Walking and cycling are also enjoyable ways to explore the area.



Other Things to Note:

𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗽𝗲𝗿𝘁𝘆 𝗰𝗼𝗻𝘀𝗶𝗱𝗲𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀

• The property is on a steep, unfenced block and has elevated decks. Children require close supervision outdoors.

• There is no direct lake access from the property due to the natural terrain of the land.

• The property is not suitable for infants under two.

• Stairs lead down from the driveway and garage area to the house.

• The lower-level laundry is accessed only by an external staircase.

• Parking is in the double garage. The driveway shared with number 21 must remain clear.



Bed linen and bath towels are supplied. Please bring your own beach towels and personal toiletries.



𝗛𝗼𝘂𝘀𝗲 𝗥𝘂𝗹𝗲𝘀

• Smoking and vaping are not permitted indoors.

• No parties or events.

• No unregistered overnight visitors.

• Quiet hours are 10 pm to 9 am each day.

Pets are not permitted at Chalet on Trafalgar.



𝗚𝘂𝗲𝘀𝘁 𝗡𝘂𝗺𝗯𝗲𝗿𝘀

Chalet on Trafalgar accommodates a maximum of seven registered guests, including adults and children. Guest numbers must not exceed the number stated on your booking.



Please include all guests when booking so that the total shown at checkout reflects the correct guest numbers and any applicable additional-guest charges.



An additional charge of $10 per person, per night applies from the fifth guest onwards, up to the maximum of seven registered guests.



𝗠𝗶𝗻𝗶𝗺𝘂𝗺 𝗦𝘁𝗮𝘆

A minimum stay of three nights applies, increasing to seven nights during peak periods. Minimum-stay requirements are subject to change; please check the property calendar for your selected dates when booking.



𝗚𝘂𝗲𝘀𝘁 𝗥𝗲𝗴𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗔𝗰𝗰𝗲𝗽𝘁𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗲 𝗼𝗳 𝗧𝗲𝗿𝗺𝘀

After booking confirmation, you will receive an automated message with a link to our Guest Registration and Terms Acceptance form. The form must be completed within 24 hours of booking acceptance. It requires acceptance of the terms and conditions and valid photo identification. If the form is not completed within 24 hours, the booking may be cancelled.

• 51% of the total booking amount is payable upon booking confirmation. This payment, together with completion of your guest registration, confirms your booking.

• The remaining balance is due 30 days before check-in.

• For bookings made within 30 days of arrival, the total booking amount is payable upon booking confirmation.

• If payment is declined on three occasions, the booking will be cancelled.

A non-refundable booking fee of $55 applies to each reservation.

A single $500.00 pre-authorisation hold is placed on your card as the security deposit for Chalet on Trafalgar.



All security deposits are released within 48hrs unless withheld to cover damages.

Your booking is subject to the cancellation policy displayed on the booking platform at the time you book. Please refer to your booking confirmation for the cancellation terms that apply to your reservation.
