2 family BAYSIDE beach house ~ Upstairs and downstairs apartments both have 3 bedrooms and sleeps 6 people, large living room, kitchen, and one bathroom.

Rent entire house for a total of 6 bedrooms!

Located within walking distance to the ocean and the bay beach (great for young children)
Families ONLY - NO GROUPS.

AVAILABLE: May through September

AMENITIES INCLUDE: central air conditioning, ceiling fan in kitchen, outside shower, parking, 5 returnable beach badges, flat screen color TV, barbecue grill & outside picnic table. Internet

Although picture shows sofa sleeper, furniture has been updated and there is NO SOFA SLEEPER.

Full kitchen includes: refrigerator, stove, microwave, coffee maker, dishes, flatware, and cookware.

There is NO washer, dryer or dishwasher. There is a laundromat available off the island (approximately 15 minutes).

ABOUT THE ISLAND: Long Beach Island is a true barrier island "Six miles at Sea" located off exit 63 of the Garden State Parkway in Ocean County NJ. The island is 18 miles long and averages 3 to 4 blocks in width. Barnegat Light State Park, with its distinctive lighthouse, is on the northern end of the island, & the Forsythe National Wildlife Refuge, a bird-watcher's paradise, is at the southern tip

Weekly rental from Saturday to Saturday; check-in at 3:00 pm and check-out at 10:00 am.


As a precaution for your safety and the safety of others we have removed all sleeping pillows, blankets, and comforters. Therefore, you will need to bring all your own sleeping pillows, sheets, blankets, towels, etc. We do not supply any linens.

We were very happy with Mary Ann's place and would definitely return. The location was fantastic in terms of access to the beach, many nearby amenities, and ease of getting on and off the island.

Great little spot.

We had a great week. House is one minute walk to bay "beach" and park, 5 minute walk to beach. Fun Waterpark and shopping on the island and host was very nice and great communicator!

A lovely home steps from the Bay

We really enjoyed our stay at this beach bungalow in Surf City. We were steps away from the bay where we enjoyed daily sunsets. You could walk to the beach, but we drove most days rather than lugging everything on the three block walk. Great central location, and we will certainly return to rent here again.

Fantastic family vacation

Location was awesome.. we enjoyed walking down to the bay daily for sunsets and the bay beach. Maryann was so wonderful to us, our kids, and our dog! We stayed on the first floor- it was super clean and we had everything we needed.

Great Stay on LBI

We really enjoyed our stay here. The house is in a great location on the island. It is in easy walking distance of a bunch of restaurants, right next to Bay Beach and of course just a few blocks from the main beach. The house itself was really clean and comfortable, and we loved being able to have our dog with us on vacation. Mary Ann did a great job hosting, and was even kind enough to provide beach badges for Surf City. We would definitely stay here again!

Ideal Location

We stayed over the Memorial Day weekend with our son and dog. We really enjoyed our stay. The house is very close to places to eat and shop, all walking distance. The beach is a short, easy walk down the street. Loved having an outdoor shower. House is very clean. Great neighborhood to walk our dog. Easy on/off the island. Maryann was super kind and responsive. We would definitely rent again.

Perfect weather

The property was very clean and well kept. The property manager Mary Ann was great to work with, always responded quickly. Overall we had a relaxing and enjoyable time. Would recommend this location to anyone whom enjoys walking, biking ,watching the sunset and just having a wonderful time

Relaxing!

Maryann, the owner, is wonderful. Very nice and personable. She was there to meet us. The rental had everything we needed and a couple of minute walk to the bay beach and walking distance to stores as well. She was kind enough to allow us to bring our dog which we appreciated as well. We will definitely be back!!!

Great stay!

Clean, comfortable, great location, very dog friendly. Basic but had everything we needed. Owner is very nice and responsive. Nice outdoor shower and plenty of parking. Furniture and beds were comfortable and kitchen had everything we needed. We really enjoyed being close to the bay beach for watching sunsets and also to the beach just a few blocks away. We enjoyed being able to walk to the bagel shop, Ritaā€™s, Wallyā€™s, and Swell Glass Studio for a fun workshop. Overall we had a great stay & will definitely come back.

Great Getaway

We had a great experience here. The house is in a great location. It is less than 1 block from the bay and a few blocks from the beach. It is also walkable to restaurants and shops. The owner is fantastic and was easily accessible throughout the entire process for any questions or concerns. It was really clean when we arrived and it is pet friendly, so we were able to bring our dog and he loved it too. :)

Perfect house

We loved our stay. House is the perfect size for our group. We loved eating dinner on the porch and playing games at the big table in the kitchen. It was immaculate when we arrived and the owner came over to welcome us. It is close to the bay beach for sunsets and a short walk to the best ice cream in Surf City. Can't wait until next year!

Great location and stay

Had a great stay. Was perfect location being 4 houses from bay beach, 2.5 blocks from ocean. Was very clean and well kept. Owner was on top of things and had great communication. Everything was listed properly and accurately. Wifi approved by teenager usage. Wish bigger bed was a queen as husband is 6ā€™6ā€ but thatā€™s my ONLY complaint. That the largest bed is only a full for the adult couple who rents. Wonderful rental and will more than likely rent again!! :)
