Nice place

Great house only about a mile from Nokomis Beach in quiet neighborhood. Well stocked and host was extremely helpful although I had no issues. I would definitely recommend this place and would stay again.

Very nice property and definitely as advertised. Less than a mile from casey key Beach on a nice quiet street. Would definitely stay here again.

Best yet rental

The house is cute as can be. It was well stocked, the best we have ever rented. It had items that I have never experienced at a rental. Which included plastic containers for leftovers, really nice cookware and lots of supplies that someone would need at home (example: spices, dish soap, dish rag, laundry soap, clothes hangers, plenty of outside chairs, desk for computer set up, storage room for beach buggy, etc). The location is very convenient to the beach, seafood restaurants and grocery stores. A great comfortable house that was easy to keep clean since we were there for two months. Would love to rent it again for 2025 winter. Absolutely awesome.

Home Away from Home

My husband and I have been going to this beautiful house for years and we plan on returning to this particular house every year. Hopefully soon more than once a year! The house is perfect and cozy but is done so nice. It is close to EVERYTHING. The owners of the property are incredibly kind and caring. The neighborhood is quiet so after a nice day at the beach and some live music at Pops's (our favorite the Lazy Daisies check them out!!) we come back to a nice cozy place where we have a cocktail and get ready for the next day's adventure (always the beach for us). I honestly can't say enough about this beautiful home and the homeowners. They are really amazing.

Nokomis Beach and Casey Key

We enjoyed our time in Nokomis beach and the unit was convenient to the beach and exploring Casey Key. The two bedroom unit was comfortable and as shown in the pictures and descriptions.

Great place to stay and great location!

We loved it here, the house was awesome and suited us perfectly! Had a lot of fun hanging out on the patios into the evening, nice back yard area that felt very private and peaceful. House was clean and had a great layout. Good location, the beach is a short drive/walk away and there were lawn chairs and beach umbrella for us to use! Thank you for a great stay, we will be back!

Mid Century Gem of a Place

I stayed by myself for some R&R at this mid century gem of a place. It's perfect for one or two people or even a family with young children; there is 1 king bed in the main bedroom, and 2 twin beds in the 2nd. I think more than that or with older kids would be tight space wise. The location is in a very quiet neighborhood, basically less than 1 mile from a beautiful beach in Nokomis. And you are a close drive to the main historic district in Venice. Drawbacks are the back yard is not fenced, so it does not feel super private even though there are no houses behind you and inside, the lighting can feel dim especially in the bathrooms. Keep your luxury expectations in check--this is classic mid century Florida but done with some flair. The home is stocked with more clean house and beach towels than you could possible need, and the host was incredibly responsive.

By far our favorite Vrbo stay in Nokomis! Great location, great house! One mile walk to the beach and a short drive to access Legacy trail. Will definitely stay again!

Spring Break for the kids

This a great little get-away house. Only 1 mile from Nokomis Beach with a nice bike trail straight to the beach. We actually rented this house because we wanted to visit several beaches in the area. Perfect location for us. The neighborhood is quiet, peaceful, and very family-friendly. Only 1 small inconvenience is that it does not have a master bathroom. It has 1 bathroom in the center of the house and another bathroom way in the back next to the washer/dryer. Other than that, the house was perfect. Definitely recommend it to anyone that reads this review and we plan to go back soon.

Nokomis/Venice getaway

Just about perfect. Would have liked cable or satellite TV because I’m accustomed to CNBC, ESPN, TBS, Golf etc. Fast WiFi. Smart TV with Amazon fire stick. Would have enjoyed a recliner in Living Room because of my very arthritic back and joints. Nice quiet neighborhood and one neighbor played Taps on his trumpet every night at sundown.

My 1st VRBO

This was my first time reserving a vrbo house instead of staying in a hotel. I couldn’t believe how easy the process was, and how hands off and removed the property managers were (in a good way). The house was immaculate and located very close to the beach. It was such an easy stay and we really enjoyed having a house instead of a hotel room.

Can’t wait to go back

My husband and I along with my sister stayed here for a long weekend. This house was great!!! It was clean and comfy. Lots of space for the 3 of us. The house is located in a quiet neighborhood. We loved walking around the neighborhood and met many nice neighbors. The beds are very comfy. Plenty of extra pillows and linens were available. This house would be great for a family of 4 or 2 couples. We love the Nokomis area and the beach on Casey Key. The location really can’t be any better since it is close to the beach and great restaurants. We can’t wait to go back and hopefully stay in this beautiful home again.

Clean and comfortable!

This house is adorable and in a nice neighborhood and convenient location. Older home but tastefully updated kitchen and baths. Very comfortable beds and furniture. One thing to note if you have a disability- the bathroom doors were too narrow for my disabled sister’s walker. But we managed and the walk- in shower with grab bars was perfect.

Quiet neighborhood, clean home

The house was great for my mom and myself. The memory foam beds were comfortable, the water pressure in the showers great, and the beach chairs were appreciated. There is a special welcome gift from the owners that was thoughtful. The house has dishes, some pots and pans, and storage containers for leftovers. A dish drainer and nightlights were two things we looked for to make it a bit more convenient. An Apple TV or Roku would have been nice since the digital channels were limited. I’d definitely stay here again, the owners seem to care about the comfort of their guests.

Great place

Our family enjoyed our stay at this location. It is within driving range and close proximity to many great beaches (Nokomis Beach is only a few minutes). We appreciated all the amenities too (numerous kitchen utensils, storage containers for home-prepared meals, beach towels & chairs, etc). The only reason we did not provide a 5-star rating was that the beds were not completely made when we arrived. The bedspreads and shams were on yet there no sheets. There was still a pile of sheets and towels in the laundry room. Our flight was delayed so we arrived quite late. Fortunately, we were able to find extra sheets in the closet but also started doing laundry that night and into the next day. Despite this, we recommend as it was a wonderful, clean and quiet home.
