We are situated perfectly for those hoping to stay in the incredibly central and vibrant U St Corridoor! The location provides convenient access to world-class eateries, shopping, public transit, and local landmarks.



U St is famous for its lively music scene and its smorgasbord of dining options. Foodies will have no shortage of choices; from Ben’s Chili Bowl to homemade ice cream at the Ice Cream Jubilee, there’s a little something for everyone!



The neighborhood is very safe - experience the nightlife of U St, and leisurely stroll back to your apartment for some welcome respite.

Guest Access:

Guests have access to the entire english basement apartment, it is not shared.



There is a family living upstairs. Please note that the everyday sounds and noises of family life (footsteps, stairs, kids playing, etc.) can be heard in both directions. You will undoubtedly hear them (and they will hear you) as they go about their everyday life.



The Neighborhood:

LeDroit Park was formed in 1873 as DC`s first “suburb” c. 1873 and in addition to being home to some of the city`s most eclectic and unique architecture it has also been home to jazz legend Duke Ellington, civil rights activist Rev. Jesse Jackson, and many others.



Venture outside and in addition to restaurants, bars, and nightlife, you are mere steps to main bus and subway lines for Georgetown, The Capitol, White House, Smithsonian, U Street, Adams Morgan, and more.



Getting Around:

We are less then 10 minutes on foot from the Shaw/Howard Metro Stop and about 12 minutes from the U Street/African American Civil War Memorial/Cardozo Station.
