The Honeymoon Deluxe Cabin has one master bedroom, king size bed, with 32" Roku TV, one master bath with SMALL shower, and 2 persons jacuzzi tub + a sleeping loft. 1/2 bath downstairs for your convenience. Sit in the hot tub on the covered deck and watch the Johnson Branch Creek tumble along or sit back and enjoy the fireplace in the living room (firewood is not provided). You can purchase firewood bundles right in the valley. Living room with large sofa, recliner ,and 40" Roku TV. Full Kitchen with washer and dryer.
– the choice is yours at our fully equipped Honeymoon Deluxe Cabin. Just pack a bag and come enjoy the natural beauty that surrounds you. This cabin is 1 mile from the Valley at an altitude of 3200 feet.
DURING THE WINTER MONTHS IT WILL BE YOUR RESPONSIBILITY TO ACCESS THE CABIN.
**We regret we do not accept oversize truck, pets, motorcycles or trailers at this cabin**

This little cabin was the best!! Madeline had well written directions to operate anything attached to the item. She even left a poppyseed loaf in the fridge for our arrival !!

This was our second time staying at this cabin and it won’t be our last. It’s located in a great location. The cabin sits above a creek. It’s so nice to sit outside on the deck and listen to it, or get in the hot tub which is amazing. The kitchen is well stocked with dishes that you would need. I was able to wash and dry all of my clothes before we left so I didn’t have to do any when I got home. The cabin is close to Cherokee, Waynesville and Bryson City. I highly recommend you check this cabin out. The host is amazing and leaves you a welcome gift of wonderful tasty poppy seed bread.

This was a very relaxing place to stay. We got to enjoy the hot tub and the creek at the same time. The bed was so comfortable and Madeleine thought of everything.

Wonderful getaway

The host was amazing! The cabin is amazing. We enjoyed it very much. The only small things we would change if anything changed s the kitchen needs a kitchen trash can instead of the one hanging in the cabinet. The shower is so tiny it is hard to wash in it but we made it work. Having to carry our own trash away wasn’t ideal. We were not aware of that. I did not see that on line but maybe it is on there and I missed it. I think maybe tell people upfront they can leave a max of two bags of trash in the cabin and deal with that yourself. That kind of hurts when you are paying for cleaning services. This in no way would prevent us from coming back but would be courteous. The bread that was left for us was amazing. Small gestures like that is what keeps people coming back. I highly recommend this host and cabin!

Peaceful and quite location.comfortable and cozy cabin. Small stream next to cabin makes sleeping and relaxing enjoyable. Host was very sweet and accessible. I recommend this honeymoon cabin.

Cabin w/ view of Mountain Stream

Perfect for us. Next to a Mountain Stream. Sight & sounds of the water from the deck was very relaxing. Cabin was VERY neat and clean. Communication with property owner A+. Couple perfect.

Lovely stay when accessing the mountains

Madeleine's cabin is lovely and comfortable. We spent a few days hiking in the Smokies and resting in the hot tub after was great for our aching muscles. The area was very quiet and peaceful while we were there.

Our honeymoon

So happy that I found the honeymoon deluxe cabin for my husband and I. (Newly married ) We truly rate this cabin, as a 10 very clean and cozy! Great communication, prompt responses! Upon arrival,we automatically fell in love with the setting of this cabin. It is nestled up mountainside, with a beautiful view of not only the mountains also, the creek, that runs in front of the cabin. The perfect set up for a honeymoon getaway or come back to celebrate your anniversary! You’ll also be welcomed in with a fresh loaf of poppyseed bread. Delicious ! Then when you walk down to the creek, they’ll already have a little fire pit set up for you which Was very thoughtful. So, take a moment, relax and listen to the sounds of nature around you! Such peace🌻 Then enjoy the hot tub on the porch overlooking the creek! It was 36 degrees out and the hot tub was a perfect 10! I totally recommend the honeymoon deluxe cabin. I believe she owns a total of three cabins, so do check your options, but again I recommend the honeymoon deluxe for 2❤️ A big shout out to the owners. Thank you so much for such a memorable experience! We or planning on a return visit for an upcoming anniversary as well! Til next time, Much love! Sheila & Donnie Mississippi

Amazing Trip

Our stay was wonderful. Sitting on the patio drinking coffee and listening to the creek in the morning was wonderful. The hot tub was perfect for the cool evenings. The trip was fabulous.

A Warm, Cosy Retreat

What a wonderful stay we had at "Madeleine's" - the Honeymoon Deluxe Cabin. The five nights we were there went far too fast, and we really wished we could have stayed a few nights longer. Not only was the cabin immaculate, the feeling of warmth and pride of ownership permeated every room. We even were surprised by a loaf of delicious lemon poppyseed bread (honestly, more like cake!) - waiting for us in the fridge. Needless to say, it did not last long... The sound of the Johnson Branch creek right below us was soothing, and I especially loved the dark wood antiques, the comfortable living room couch and the instant hot water that never seemed to run out during a long tub bath or shower. From a convenience factor, this cabin gets extra points for being so close to town, yet still with plenty of privacy. We enjoyed being only minutes away from the Blue Ridge Parkway as well as from the restaurants downtown. The whole area is one we love, as no experience is ever the same, This year, we did come during the heavy tourist season, but we were able to see over 30 elk outside the main Visitor's Center in the GSM National Park, and even experience the first snow in the mountains as we drove through the Parkway on our last day. It was magical, and coming "home" to the warm cabin at the end of each long day was something we always looked forward to. Thank you, Madeleine!

Perfect Getaway

This property is exactly as advertised. It is perfect for a couple. Total privacy, easy access, perfect location on a creek with a hottub. The grounds are beautifully maintained as is the house. Some may find it dated but that is part of the charm. A perfect getaway.

Beautiful and relaxing

My husband and I fell in love with this cabin. Perfect size for the two of us. I loved the creek below the cabin which can be heard while sitting on the deck and/or in the awesome hot tub! We also enjoyed watching all of the hummingbirds hitting the flowers on the trees or the feeder that the host had up. This cabin is located very close to town but yet you feel like you are secluded. We plan on returning again.

VERY NEAT AND CLEAN

My wife and I enjoyed our stay in this very neat and clean cabin. The owner's expectations are clearly stated and communicated. The hot tub was great and well maintained as was the rest of the property. Hope to make a return visit in the future!

Great base camp in Maggie Valley!

My husband and I really enjoyed our stay in the Honeymoon Deluxe Cabin in Maggie Valley. The hot tub was wonderful for drinking our coffee in on the chilly fall mornings and for relaxing in each evening after chasing waterfalls in the Great Smoky Mountains! We visited all of the nearby mountain towns: Cherokee, Bryson City, Waynesville, Gatlinburg, Asheville and Canton on our way to Chataloochee Valley to see the elk. We also saw a few elk right in town in Maggie Valley! Everything is spotless! Madeleine, our host, had fresh poppy seed bread waiting for us which was perfect with our coffee that first morning! What a welcoming sight! We are going home with clean clothes thanks to the washer and dryer in the cabin too! We hope to stay again soon!

Perfect Creekside Cabin

We love this cabin! It is easy to drive to and always immaculate. It is close to excellent restaurants, shopping and the adorable town of Maggie Valley, yet, it has the feel of being tucked away in the woods. The bed is very comfortable. Between the hot tub before bed and the sound of the creek, we always have a great nights sleep. The owner is excellent with communication, as well. We will definitely book this lovely cabin on a regular basis.

Quiet relaxation

We had the most enjoyable week. It was quiet. Which is what we needed from our health care jobs. Our host very hospitable. Everything was clean and was just as it was listed. We would love to visit again.

Hello there and welcome to my cabins. I was born in Lausanne Switzerland and after spending a few years in Wisconsin and Florida, I realized how much I missed the Alps. My husband and I bought this beautiful piece of property a few years back, built our home and three cabins.

The setting of my cabins is unlike many others. Not only will you be closed to town but you will also have the privacy you are looking for. I am always around to take care of what ever needs you might have and you will not have to rely on a property manager.
Hot tub will be checked for chemicals during your stay for safety reasons. We will do so when you are not at the cabin to respect your privacy.
