The best part of the rental for me was the bed - and the house is cute. The bad parts are as follows.
It is very noisy all hours of the day and night in the rental. The street is right outside the door - and there is a street access door in the bedroom that makes it really loud in the bedroom. Dogs bark often and cars roar going up that street. People stop and talk right outside the doors too. We had a hard time sleeping because of the noise. We even use a white noise machine to sleep and it didn’t help much.
We were also disappointed that there wasn’t coffee and filters available to use. There wasn’t a toilet paper supply and we ran out after the 3rd night.
I didn’t like to have to meet the host to get into the rental. I’ve used VRBOs for years and have not ever had to meet up to arrive/get in the house and meet her upon departure (we skipped the latter, but she did request to meet with us before leaving - very odd).
I am so sorry to have to leave this review. I think it is important to be completely honest.
