Love Shack Cozy Corrales Country Getaway

The Love Shack will accommodate two adults comfortably. We have one queen size automatically adjustable bed with a memory foam mattress. We also provide a heated mattress pad! There is a small futon couch to enjoy the view of the patio through the double French doors. This is a remodeled studio with free WiFi, SmartTV, Alexa device, device charging station, Netflix, Pandora, YouTubeTV, Bluetooth speaker, K-Cup coffee maker, iron, luggage racks, ample closet, AC and Heater, ceiling fan, 2 TV trays, a designated workspace, and a beautiful covered patio with a propane gas outdoor fireplace, as well as a lookout from the top of our property. The owners live on this NONSMOKING gated property and are nearby in case of any needs. If you are planning on attending the Albuquerque International Balloon Fiesta, we are only minutes away and have a great location for all the fiesta fun. We are also only a short drive away from the Intel Park and Ride for the fiesta and it is strongly recommended if you will be attending ANY of the fiesta events. If you want to take a break from the fiesta crowds, feel free to have coffee at The Love Shack Lookout. This uncovered lookout is at the top of our property, just a little hike up the sandy hill. It boasts a great view of the balloon park and fireworks. This is also the perfect place to relax and unwind in the peace of the country with the city just minutes away. Also enjoy our rural horse friendly village by shopping, having an espresso, fine dining, microbreweries, wineries, playing pool, pumpkin patching, public swimming pool, skate park, and farmer's market. Corrales also has a self-guided walking tour, a grower's market, and the historic Old San Ysidro Church. Feed our quail then shop at the nearby Cottonwood Mall. Santa Fe is 50 minutes away. We are a veteran owned home with friendly and flexible scheduling. We look forward to accommodating executives, traveling nurses, Intel employees, movie industry, and insurance renovation temporary relocation. Kids are welcome, not pets please. Ah-Mazing!

It has only been a day and I already miss this place! Everything about this property was more than I expected. From the gated entrance, the kitchenette and very modern stylish decor, and dreamy bed (heated mattress pad, head/foot controls and memory foam) to Alexa welcoming us home and turning on all the lights. I loved the keyless entry! The property is immaculately maintained and is well illuminated at night. They have really thought of everything. We appreciated the local take-out menu’s and info on attractions! It is an easy drive from the airport and close to anything you might need. It was so easy to come and go we didn’t use our gps after the first day. It is very quiet being up the hill from the city. This would be a wonderful place to work and/or create if you are in town for an extended stay. Most mornings we would go up to the lookout for coffee to sit by the fire pit, watching the sun rise-and I am NOT a morning person! If we were home (that was our immediate feeling) at sunset we would watch the Sandia Mountain's sink into beautiful red hues and watched the city’s night come to life. My best friend lives ten minutes away and the hosts were so sweet to invite her to visit us! There is no shortage of epic activities within a 1-2 hour drive! We went into the Jemez Springs, saw the Petroglyph’s, and had some of the most amazing (and spicy) food at El Pinto! The hosts are amazing people and so personable. We are already planning our next visits this year! Thank you!

I spent a week in this casita in Corrales. The views of the Sandia Mountains are spectacular! And it would be a fine place to watch the balloons. The hosts not have been nicer or more welcoming and it is quiet and peaceful at night. I will book it again!

Balloon Fiesta

Absolutely loved this casita and hosts! Everything was as described in the listing. We had all amenities needed. The casita was comfortable and very clean. We especially enjoyed the outdoor area where we could watch the fiesta hot air balloons while enjoying our morning coffee. The balloons came right over us! We also enjoyed beautiful quail in the yard and even saw a Roadrunner! Our hosts were very respectful providing space but were also there if we needed anything. The property is secure and we felt very safe. I highly recommend this property!

Mother Daughter Adventure

We booked the Love Shack for a mother daughter trip to the Balloon Fiesta. The Love Shack was beyond our expectations. The accommodations were comfortable, clean and tastefully decorated. Listening to the birds, morning desert air, warmth from the fire pit and hot coffee started the mornings. Kiera and her husband were gracious hosts. But I will never forget watching the Dawn Patrol from the advantage point of their driveway with the mountain as a back drop. Thank you for the great memories.

Love ❤️ Shack is a cozy dream

Kiera and Rick were warm and welcoming and the casita was tastefully decorated and had all the amenities. The space was inviting and utilitarian as we were able to cook our own meals and relax on the patio as we soaked in the views. Would highly recommend to travelers who crave a beautiful space in a quiet, rural setting that is still close to shopping and entertainment.

Love shack is charming !

We were very pleased with the accommodations at the Love Shack ! It looked better in real life than in the great photos so that was a big plus. Keira is very friendly and had great communication with us although we didn’t get a chance to meet in person. We loved walking into the place with a beautiful bottle of wine and delicious cookies plus the soothing music on the TV. A great way to end our first trip up and down the state of New Mexico. Highly recommend. A+

Fantastic Balloon Festival Views! New Mexico's Secret. Minutes from all the action!

You couldn't ask for a better host and hostess. Rick and Keira were friendly,kind and always wanting to please. We loved this couple. They thought of everything. The Love Shack is decorated and equipped with all you will need. We walked in to the fragrance of lavender and the sound of soft music playing on the t.v. The cookies were an added treat. The Love Shack is so cozy and lovely. There is even a cute porch with a fireplace. It is just a couple miles from downtown Corrales. You sit high at the end of a street with to die for views! You don't even need to fight the traffic for the Balloon Festival. We sat at the top of the hill and saw everything saving us time and money. Rick and Keira are happy to answer any questions you have about the area as far as places to eat or see. They also give you your privacy. While we were there we went on a day drive up to Taos to drive the 85 mile Enchanted Trail Loop. The mountains were so beautiful during the changing of the leaves. The location is perfect for a home base. The queen size bed is a memory foam mattress. We will be coming back again for sure to see more of New Mexico and all she has to offer. The Love Shack is very relaxing being located in a rural area just a couple miles from the all the traffic and noise. Thank You Rick and Keira for sharing your paradise with us. Kris and I are so happy to have the pleasure of staying and meeting you and your lovely babies. You made our stay so special.

TRULY IS THE LOVE SHACK!!!!!

Absolutely PERFECT in every way...... From having the Spa music channel on the tv and heavenly scents in the air, it was an excellent way to be welcomed...... Unbelievably quiet and off the beaten path, but yet just a few minutes from all of the city amenities..... Owners Keira and Rick were off the charts AWESOME!!!!!!!! Truly friendly, down to earth folks..... Really enjoyed my time not only with them but the LOVE SHACK was very, very clean and had everything that could be wanted or needed in this wonderful space...... Mike C.

Clean, Tidy, Cozy and Quiet!

My wife and I really enjoyed the Love Shack! It was clean and tidy when we arrived and had all the necessary items to make us comfortable. The location is far away from the highways so that made for quiet time day or night. It is close enough to downtown ABQ but far enough away from the bright city lights. Would go back again and recommend it to my friends and family. The Hosts were very friendly and accommodating.

Cozy, Clean and Nice Stay

The studio is very clean and has been upgraded. We celebrated our anniversary and had a great stay. The owner welcomed us with a bottle of champagne for our anniversary and some warm cookies. The fireplace on the patio was great. We were hoping to have views of the city from the patio, but it was still nice to sit out there. We'd definitely stay here again.

Nice quiet comfortable place

We were in town for the State Volleyball tournament. This place was in a great location, it was quiet, it was comfortable and we had everything we needed to have breakfast on site, relax, sleep and park. It was great!! The owner was also available, answered all the questions I had and was very kind!

Just right!

I decided to take a personal retreat and found the "Love Shake." It was exactly what I needed. Cute and cozy with a private patio where I could sit and read and watch all kinds of critters (Quails with new babies, chipmunks, lizards, rabbits even a Roadrunner). Keira and Rick were great hosts, providing all the essentials as well as special consideration for what I needed. They have created an absolutely beautiful compound. The location is perfect, a real sense of seclusion but minutes away from anything a person could want from restaurants to any kind of store. Corrales is a charming village and this would be a wonderful location for anyone attending Balloon Fiesta.

We have owned our own business for 30 years and it is now time to wind down and share our home with people. Welcome home, from our 2 beautiful Doggos, too!

We fell in love with the idea of living in a small community with land and a view. Corrales is a quiet village without any traffic lights. There is hiking down the road, fine dining, bars, microbreweries, shopping, massages, fishing, a public pool, all located in our tiny village. Corrales is a horse community and home to many wild animals. We have seen bunnies, porcupines, skunk, fox, bobcat, coyotes, many birds, and lots of reptiles on our property. We have a unique spot located in the rural desert with EVERYTHING a large metroplex has to offer one mile away.

This property gives the unique experience of a quiet country feel with a mall and the big city just blocks away. Enjoy our nonsmoking property and peace and quiet with all the necessities nearby. We have had an influx of movie filming in our village. It is fun to drive by and watch the crews at work. Many new restaurants and breweries in our village.
